It is absolutely the BEST deli in town and the sides, soups are all homemade. The ambiance is great and friendly with ample parking. Staff is very helpful in making any new choices. It is absolutely our spot around. The best holiday choices are the Honey B ham...... read more

Food wise: Definitely over priced. We spent $36 on the 2 sandwiches 1 bag of chips and cup of vegetable soup. They have great looking preserves and relishes for sale but they don't have an option to put them on the sandwiches. The food was just ok. read more

Honey B Ham - a man and a woman in a restaurant - Sandwiches Near Me - Beaumont, Texas

Wife and I had called in two orders of chicken and sausage gumbo yesterday for pick up and when we got home the gumbo just didn't taste quite right. We called the store and let them know and they checked on the food and gave us a rain check no questions asked. Got the gumbo today and it was delicious!! Doug and Christina (hope I remembered the names right) took great care of us and we'll definitely be back. We even got some delicious cookies this time for the trouble and the kids scarfed them down read more

I went there on a Thursday, March 6th at around 7 pm, and an older gentleman with white hair and a cooking apron came to the front of the counter to take our order. He first said that we needed to ring the bell if we wanted service, but of course, the bell he was talking about was not where you could easily see it, but instead, to the far left. He then proceeded to complain that he was trying to eat his dinner, which he was holding in his left hand, and seemed agitated and in a huge rush. We told him we were hungry also and that's why we were there...he laughed it off, but when he started taking our order, it was very annoying since he was in a big rush to take our order and seemed annoyed when we asked questions. I then proceeded to tell my brother that we should leave and find another eating place, and so we took off, and he was not pleased and told us to go eat somewhere else. I had not eaten there for some time and was ready to start eating there again, but did not expect to encounter someone who came across as aggravated and anxious to eat his dinner. I hope that was not the owner with the poor customer service that was shown. I do not plan on going back after being treated in that fashion...ridiculous. read more

The dining room is nice and homey.we got the ham and cheese sandwich, the chef salad and I had to try their chicken and sausage combo. Everything was super good, and everyone working was very pleasant and attentive ! Great place. Check them out ! read more

I purchased their Spiral Cut Honey Ham for Christmas and have done so for at least 15 years now. This was very disappointing, it was just par to being just alright. This happened for the first time during our Covid Christmas meaning we bought a large Ham & had to eat it by ourselves unfortunately ( no taste).... read more

12oz Chicken and Sausage Gumbo for around $6 was skimpy on the tiny bite size portions of chicken and I barely noticed any sausage. The food was steaming hot and tasted more greasy than of Roux flavoring. I guess I'm spoiled by Bayou Cafe and Floyd's who make sure the meat is noticeable and plentiful. My total ticket was $8.85 for a gumbo lunch with a Tea which wasn't too pleasing. The staff was nice. read more

Great place to get a turkey every year. They have sides and dessert options as well that are usually on a long table sitting out for your convenience to grab and go. The line for their turkeys are always long, but they are very fast! read more

Walked in to this unassuming little restaurant and it was packed. Met up with my folks for a good ol' fashion free meal and I ordered myself a turkey and cheese sammy on wheat that was super tasty. After chowing that down in a couple minutes I decided I was still hungry and since I wasn't paying I got a large cup of gumbo. On Friday the option is chicken and sausage and everyone in the place was enjoying a cup. I ate half of it and it was so good I saved the other half for my after bar 2:00am meal. Every day of the week there are different specials and this place is worth the visit. read more

I have never dined at the restaurant before. But, the take-out food I have had from Honey B Ham Co has been excellent. I've had the ham from here, which is PERFECT. It makes for a great addition to any holiday meal. And, their chicken and sausage gumbo is PHENOMENAL. It's seriously one of the best gumbos around. We've been buying the gumbo by the pints for years. It is NOT greasy and has a plentiful amount of quality chicken and sausage. read more

They forgot 2 bags of chips with our order that was delivered and blamed it on delivery service and said "what's the big deal ?, It's just chips" and hung up on us. This was the owner by the one who did this by the way! Rude and will not get anymore of our money for sure! read more

I love Honey B Ham(especially their gumbo). However, they always mess up my orders. They tend to leave out things ordered on the side(that you pay extra for) or just completely mess up an order. Several times I have gone and ordered gumbo with sides of potato salad only to return with no potato salad. I've ordered a ham and cheese sandwich and gotten a pimento cheese sandwich instead. Forgotten desserts and chips. Its gotten so annoying and consistent to the point where I will not be returning. read more

One of the best sandwich places in Beaumont. By far the best Southwest sandwich ever. It has turkey, cheese, bacon, guac, chipotle mayo, lettuce and tomato. You can have your own choice of bread and the best is the jalapeno style. Also has great hams and turkeys for the holidays which are expensive but well worth it. I would say the only bad thing is that sometimes it's hard to find a seat because it's a hangout for the 80+ crowd... and they eat really slow. Also, get the raspberry tea, flippin awesome!!! read more

I love this great little spot. Daily soups, and great sandwiches and salads. Try any sammy but kick it up a notch with jalapeno cheese bread! Oh and id say that every customer is a regular because you cant just go once read more

They're not open late so get there before 3pm I'd guess is when they close. Love their Ham sandwich but, hear great things about their other items too. One of those things I treat myself to every now and then. read more

Great food but the last couple times I have been the service has been painfully slow for a sandwich shop.

The best ham or turkey you will every have for Thanksgiving, Christmas or Easter! Daily sandwiches are the best in the area. Their honey hams are to die for! I tried to copy it at home and failed. Watching the news I saw they finished off their honey coating with a blow torch. Well, I'm not burning my house down trying! I'll just buy some more of that fantastic, delicious ham! If you've never been, you are truly missing out. read more
