My only problem (not really a problem) is a tip jar on the counter. They take your order, look at you for a tip. The manager shouldn't allow it and the OWNER needs to give them a raise, not-guilt pass the buck. (Pun intended) I say that because for restaurant service, you sit yourself, fix/refill your own drink, pick up your own food at the counter, clean off your own table, etc.. I followed that with their lemon icebox dessert and a lemon drop, both excellent, and finished the evening with a Four Roses Small Batch Select for a nightcap. What really sets J Wilson's apart is the staff's consistency and professionalism. The bartenders, servers, and kitchen team all seem to work together smoothly and take pride in the experience they deliver.
