I'm super impressed with the Twisted Egg Shack. The food was delicious. The restaurant was clean and the ambiance was inviting. It's sooooo hard to find good food in Beaumont, but they really made me a returning customer. Pros: I ordered the Shack Bowl 10/10 fresh, healthy, delicious. My boyfriend ordered the Twisted tender tacos and a Strawberry waffle. He's really hard to please too food wise so that's a big deal. We give them both a 10/10. The strawberry pico was chef's kiss. The date was light and refreshing on the tacos. The chicken was seasoned and crispy. Cons: The waffle was really good but for $9 it was small if it came with a side for maybe $11-12 it would've made more sense to us or if it was bigger. Ultimately, we're looking forward to trying other items on the menu in the future. read more

Amazing customer service, which is so hard to find. The level of service provided here is phenomenal. Now add the amazing taste and flavor made our visit top notch. Definitely coming back!!! For drinks they offer coffee, flavored teas, OJ and their famous mimosas with a twist. The vibe is friendly and relaxed, attentive and smiling staff await to serve you. I saw and met the Owner Bret Baumgartner, who was observed going from table to table to greet and make sure everyone was satisfied with their order. He was even caught cleaning tables and directing staff to make SURE you received the BEST service possible. John Carter, a local DJ and On-line personally was also there doing a live for Best Bites. Our server/waitress was Brandie, and she made sure all of our table needs were met. Recently visited twisted egg shack and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The atmosphere was semi-decent but a bit crowded. The service could have been better. I believe it was the manager who asked us how our food was when we were leaving and he was pleasant but the rest of the staff were not . We explained how we have not been there before , they weren't very informative . The food was the biggest disappointment, it completely missed every mark. Every dish order lacked any flavor or seasoning, making it difficult to enjoy the meal. Even meals that are typically hard to get wrong (ex. Eggs, gravy) tasted very bland and uninspired. It felt as though there was no effort put forth into balancing flavors or enhancing the natural ingredients. For the price paid , I expected far better quality and attention to detail. I can say with certainty that I will not be returning, as flavor is key to any dinning experience, and this place just didn't deliver. Ordered 3 different meals including twisted chicken bowl, buffalo chicken stacker, and good morning tacos . All three meals failed to please the pallet . Had to salt, pepper, and hot sauce all the food just to make it edible and still couldn't precede to finish the meals. I am not one to complain because I know the chef tries their best but if you enjoy a little seasoning on your food I would keep looking. read more
