Food was mid, first time i went i didn't enjoy the taste of the food. Not clean, meat juice gets on different platters and the cheese is stale. Very greasy food that made my stomach hurt the next morning. One of the few places open late in Beaumont but not worth it unless you want to deal with loiters watching you eat. They were all in the back I could hear him blabbering in the back of finally another man came in another customer, and they come out of the bar a back of the building and waited on him with me standing there at the desk. Really great tasting food and the way you order is similar to subway. Portions, Holy Guacamole! You won't be disappointed. I ordered a burrito, it was enough to feed two. Thank God I went with a friend as it's been a good while since I've eaten there and forgot how much they put in the burritos. Thought I was in Mexico ordering from a sidewalk vendor. Couldn't miss the place with the bright paint job. As for the food it is served cafeteria style. You tell them some of this and some of that. You have to know what to order because of the line behind you. Only one person serving so you order fast. All in all the food was good. The reason I didn't give it more stars is because the a/c wasn't sufficient and NO Margs. Should be a law requiring Margs at all real Mexican restaurants. May or may not go back. read more

Went for lunch a while back and do not plan to return. The seats and tables were grimy. It was hard to enjoy the food because the eating area made my skin crawl. My friend went to the restroom which is accessible only from the outside of the rear of the building (from when the it was the Pig Stand). There was no lid on the toilet and it seemed as if the employees must have had their own facilities inside because it was nasty in the one outside. The family and I visited La Salsita a few weeks ago. Located on the corner of Washington and Irving. Talk about GOOD! Usually I am a Tex- Mex girl but I got good reviews from another establishment who frequents here so I knew I had to visit. When we got there the steam table was full and ready! I had to ask the names of all of the types of meat and I was excited! So many to choose from- steak, ground beef, chorizo, beef tongue and much more. Yes I said beef tongue. My grandmother used to cook this and I loved to taste hers so I couldn't wait to try this. I got French fries loaded with steak, tongue, cheese, lettuce, jalapeños, and salsa. Talk about GOOD!! It was enough for 2 meals. My husband and son got burritos the size of Texas! Loaded with steak and chicken and the fixings. All of that was only $22.00. They had green sauce and other salsas in the condiment station. They are definitely a return #bestbite! read more

Best Mexican food in this area of Beaumont. I had the pork burrito here today for lunch it was amazing. absolutely gigantic in size and taste and flavor was great. Fast service in a fun Mexican atmosphere. You order in the front and they make the food right there for you. It does have sit down and drive through but most customers get takeout. read more

Amazing! Not typical Tex-mex, so if that's what you're looking for go somewhere else. Portions are huge and reasonably priced. Building isn't ideal, so it's a definite hole in the wall, but well worth it. They're also 24 hours, and way better than any breakfast place on a drunken night. read more

Yummy! Great, authentic Mexican food. Small dining room and an old, hole in the wall style building but the food is amazing. Great prices. My only downside is the lack of beverage options. They have sodas and a couple things like Horchata and Jamaica but if you don't like those or sodas, you are pretty much out of luck. read more

If you know your way around some real home cooked Mexican food then this is the place to go. The lengua is pretty good but I find the barbacoa to be a little too greasy. They don't speak English but you can point your way down the line. read more
