I have spent an entire evening, night and morning at this establishment. --- They offer free WiFi! Once you've purchased something of course. Keep the receipt as the code is on it but be warned, it changes after so long so don't expect to buy a coffee today and still be able to use their wifi while you're sitting outside in their parking lot tomorrow. --- They offer other yummy treats like cookies, cheesecake, sweet dessert breads, and ice cream! --- Sertinos also has hot or cold entrees if you're truly hungry. From roasted paninis to simple delicious sandwiches. They even have pizza! --- Huge parking lot. --- They have a party room you can rent out for whatever occasion. --- They also cater. Sertino's seems like a cool hangout spot for young people to go to get food, coffee, ice cream and other goodies late at night. It's a 24-hour joint from what I understand. There were plenty of guitars, cigarettes and opinions on the patio, and chess, Apples to Apples, and celeb gossip inside. Seems like a nice place to play board games or hang with big groups of friends in an alcohol-free environment. Terrible place to have an intimate date, study or get work done. I had to sit and work in this place on a Thursday night when I had a midnight deadline for a writing assignment while on the road. DO NOT try this, folks. I had earphones in as earplugs to block out the noise and it didn't save me from the constant barrage of LOUD, RUDE, IGNORANT (and mostly young) people's conversations. Some of this is understandable given the age of the crowd but they were seriously loud. There is free wifi for paying customers. (The cheapest thing on the menu, ice cream, is $2.79.) God help you if you have to sit in here and concentrate. I wanted to cry. Good point(s): the barista was friendly and the coffee was an amazingly convincing reproduction of Starbucks. I don't know what kind of beans they're using but their espresso machine is one of those fully automatic Cadillacs like they have at Starbucks. Also, after moving seats for the 3rd time to try to find the least loud spot in the place, I finally pleaded with the group near me to tone it down just for ten minutes and they were very nice and quiet afterwards until I got my assignment submitted. read more

Nothing spectacular. This is a good concept for a coffee shop and they do "try" to create a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately its just not working. It is NOT clean. I got here first thing in the morning around 7:45am the women's bathroom was disgusting. It looked like the potty had not been cleaned at all from the previous day. The sink, mirror, floor all filthy. The trash was over flowing and there was no tp in the dispenser. A partial roll of tp was balanced on the handicap rail not to mention the toilet seat cover box was completely empty. The bathroom experience turned into a: don't touch anything balancing act! On to the sitting area, again dirty. The floors were very dirty, I didn't want to even set my laptop bag on the floor it was so bad. The tables were also not clean. I had to clean my own table. And, there is ONE and only ONE outlet that I could find in the main seating area (I did not go in the enclosed area). This makes plugging in a laptop and working for a bit while enjoying a coffee and a bite to eat nearly impossible. And the coffee. Its just a coffee... nothing great. My first time the coffee was so bad I would not drink it. It tasted like a cup of syrup. The 2nd time was a bit better but it's just not good coffee to begin with. They have it shipped in and if you know anything about coffee then you will be very disappointed. It's just not good coffee. Its a shame Sertinos is run this way. I was hoping it would be a good place to meet with clients and do some work. Unfortunately its just not kept up at all. And there are no outlets! I'm from Kansas City and I'm staying here in the south east TX area for a week with my boyfriend who is from here originally. He swears by Sertino's and took me here the first day of our trip. I was a barista for a while and I have to admit they make one GOOD latte. (Specifically a hazelnut white mocha!) It's okay. The "baristas" could look a little less bored and bit more uh, clean? Appearances really are everything in a service industry. In fact, the whole checkout area had this oily, crumby look like it hadn't been well cleaned in a bit. Otherwise, my latte was a latte. If you want a muffin or other pastry with your coffee, then I do suggest you come here rather than Starbucks. My biggest peeve about Starbucks is that nothing is wrapped in their case and you can usually see some small flies buzzing around. I used to think Sertinos was fair in comparison to other coffee houses... until I became more of a regular. (1.) Late nights here feels like a high school hangout making the place somewhat of a turnoff for anyone older than thirty. I've seen a group as large as ten show up and not even purchase anything and hang around inside and outside for over an hour. The noise level and immaturity of customers is a bit overwhelming at times and would make me reconsider stopping here again in the evening hours. (2.) My iced latte was made from already brewed and chilled espresso which made it a bit bitter. I personally prefer a fresh drawn shot for it's smoothness. (3.) The food here is fair, albeit a bit more like fast food but more substantial than something microwaved. It's definitely lacking handcrafted taste and is a wee bit overpriced. Overall the sandwiches are palatable if you can swallow the price of convenience. (4.) The young staff here does not seem trained in either customer service or in beverage prep/knowledge. They are NOT true baristas. I will say that the crowd during the day is more tollerable than the crowds during the evenings; filled with mostly business types on a lunch breaks or students behind laptops. Overall, for Beaumont, Sertinos is fair game. It's probably the only place open late in the evenings, on the weekends, to grab some coffee and a bite to eat. Sertinos is not my first choice when it comes to coffee beverages or food but is suiting when left with no other options. read more

We rented Sertinos' meeting room for a bridal shower last summer. We were very happy with the prices and what we received! First of all, it's a nice room that is actually soundproof, and you can close the curtains to the room so that people aren't peering in. They did allow us to re-arrange the tables & chairs and add some decorations. The price to rent the room is extremely reasonable, and the money that you pay for the room rental goes towards the food & beverages provided at your event. With around 20 guests at our event, we picked out several kinds of sandwiches, arranged to have them cut into fours, and had more than enough food for everyone with leftovers sent home afterwards. We also had coffee & tea available for our guests. You do have the option of allowing your guests to run up a tab while ordering their own personal specialty coffee drinks. One thing to note, when we did our event, there was a rule that all food had to be provided by Sertinos (no outside food), and if you want to bring a cake, they will give you the name and number of a lady who makes cakes for them - let me tell you, her cake was AMAZING! You will not be disappointed. I would highly recommend the Sertinos room to anyone looking to hold a business meeting, or any other kind of event like a wedding or baby shower! read more

While I admit that what I ate was tasty (a simple ham sandwich) it was very pricey, in my opinion, especially considering the smallish portions. The few times I visited this location it was loud, as there were several people having very boisterous conversations. The staff was friendly and the location was convenient for me, but I have no idea how folks in the front or off to the side were able to actually study or read. One big plus is that the place is open 24 hours. Since there aren't too many late night options to choose from, this does become a viable choice if it is 2 a.m. and you aren't up for fast food, etc. The coffee was okay - I don't think I'd go out of my way to pick up coffee here, but I have no complaints about the flavor. I suppose I am too used to my Austin coffee houses to appreciate what they bring to the proverbial table. I know many coffee places have struggled to stay alive in this area. read more

We've only just started to go to Sertino's recently. I'd say it is a place we will go back to. Staff always seems friendly (with the exception of 2 cranky one's this morning) and coffee is definitely above average. It's a nice cozy spot that you don't have to worry about a lot of in and out traffic. You can actually have a conversation and eat in peace! I love that they even have a dairy-free option (almond milk)! Deserts are not too bad (doesn't seem like they are made there, can't tell. They seem more pre-frozen, but its not bad in a pinch when you want a sweet bite to go with your coffee). I appreciate the fact they they have 2 (maybe more if you improvise) vegetarian sandwiches. I must be honest. I love a good sandwich. But the 2 vegetarian sandwiches (Veggie Supreme & Roasted Red Pepper Panini) are not really that great. Kind of just blah. You shouldn't have to doctor up a sandwich just for it to become edible. I wish they would go back to the drawing board on those! While this may not be our go-to sandwich spot, it definitely deserves a place just for the coffee and environment alone. read more

Great beverage choices. They have a lot of options for coffees (cold and hot), smoothies and teas. I think their sandwiches are some of the best in Beaumont! They have a lot of different options and they load their them up with all the goodies. I am disappointed, however, that being the only 24 hour coffee house type place in Beaumont they do not have more outlets for Internet users. I came here in 2008 while going to school and now that I am back in school I thought I would give it a try. There is only a few outlets so you better hope someone or you bring a strip so more than one computer can plug in. I know a lot of students that would give them their business if it was more study friendly. I hear the one in Mid-County is very nice and has more plug ins, but have not been there. I'm giving it four stars since they are no longer 24/7, which is bad for a night owl like me. I used to come and stay here past midnight while on dates or with friends. Now, there's no where to go and hang out at night. Besides that, everything is great. The service is quick, and the staff is friendly. The coffee is amazing and so is the All American salad. I haven't had the smoothies in a while, but from what I remember, they were delicious. Everything I have tried here has been pretty tasty. I frequent this establishment, and the staff knows my order, which I love because it shows that they pay attention to their customers. Superb place for a quiet, peaceful and delicious experience. Free wifi. Coffee is good, but the espresso drinks are very, very good. The Voodoo is excellent & they have the best *Americano I think I've ever had. Panini sandwiches are really special and unique here. I prefer the paninis here to Panera or other. The turkey cranberry is extra special too. Some things are about a dollar or 2 more than you might want or expect to spend, but I've yet to be disappointed in what I get.
