After having a very bad experience at BWW we decided to Rusty Taco (they are owned by the same people). There was only two people working and we had a large party. THEY DID AWESOME. Very helpful, the gentleman that was taking orders brought everyone there food instead of just calling it out for us to come get, he even went to the general manager (like I said they are owned by the same people) and explained what happened to him. He was very apologetic to us about what happened saying that it was very wrong what they did to us. The food was spot on. Disgusting. This is my second attempt with them after being disappointed last year. It's still gross and practically inedible. They got my order wrong again, apparently they can't read simple instructions. They gave me rice even though I requested a bed of salad. Cute place, fast service, super friendly and helpful staff. It was pretty empty on a Sunday afternoon but that was great for us! I ordered two Raja taco bowls, which were great if a bit spicy (but I'm a whimp!). Because of my inability to handle spice the lady making the bowls for me made the bowl, then put the veggies on the side one with seasoning and an extra without seasoning. That was very kind and thoughtful of her. Other tacos ordered were the Raja Shrimp, and two other kinds I can't recall. The food was delicious. The space was cute. So I went to visit my sister in Beaumont the weekend of her birthday and the nephew was craving breakfast tacos. We ordered a bunch of tacos and man they were very disappointing, the brisket taco was so dry and it looked as if they had extra from the day before and reused it. Staff was very friendly and helpful but food was not amazing, maybe we just went to early lol idk. It was recommended by brother in law. Will I try them again, maybe we will see. read more

Ok ok ok let's get into it! We came to the area to do a little shopping and bam we ended up stopping here for an early dinner. Right off the back this place reminded me of a taco place in FL. This place is super inviting and has a nice vibe most definitely a place where I would grab a bite with friends. Because it was t first time here I ordered a few different items to try and that was a great choice. 1.breakfast taco with bacon, egg abs cheese on a corn tortilla (perfect morning fuel) 2. Fried chicken taco (team fave:queso,bacon and pico) on a flour tortilla - this one gives me hardcore "Southern Vibes" 3. Dynamite shrimp (ahhhhh so delicious) on a corn tortilla Overall the flavor was really nice on all of the items. I wouldn't get the fried chicken on flour a tortilla again. Stopped in yesterday for a quick bite. I ordered the fried chicken tacos which are normally bomb. These however, were inedible. The chicken was not even normal looking... and so tough I could not chew it. By the second bite I knew I wasn't eating whatever it was. My husband got the brisket he said it was good. He ate his entire meal and we never saw the 1 employee the whole time. E we're going to let her know about my food but she was no where to be found. Dried up potatoes from this morning, salsa is made with tomato sauce, pork didn't really have a flavor, fajita was ok. Tasted like home made tortillas and they were good but they forgot to heat them up before they made the tacos. The only thing that I actually liked was the queso. Not a bit of spice to be had at all. I love cheese so I loved that there was plenty of it in here. Fried Chicken Taco is crispy chicken with jalapeño ranch, slaw, and cilantro. This is an employee favorite and I can see why. It is like a crispy fried chicken sandwich but instead of buns, it uses a tortilla. The fried chicken is well seasoned, and the crunch is great. The jalapeño ranch pairs nicely with the slaw adding a creamy, spicy flavor with the crisp crunch of the cabbage slaw. Cilantro is always nice to refresh the palate. Brisket, Egg & Cheese Breakfast Taco is served all day. When in Texas, I must eat brisket. For a taco joint, they have some mighty tasty brisket. Longtime customer, never had a true screw up and always been treated well. It is not gourmet, and not supposed to be. They deliver what you'd expect, and it's good, sometimes inventive, food. You really want to fill up? Try one of their breakfast tacos, which are served all day. However, they use Jesus to sell tacos, and that always hit me wrong. Jesus, Texas, and Tacos and similar sentiments are pushed everywhere by way of their staff t-shirts. Matthew 21:12-13: "12 Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. We can around happy hour (Mon-Thur 3-6)which gave 1/2 on all the margaritas, beers, etc. Eh, margaritas are made w/ cheap tequila (which they say it is). Now to the important part, the TACOS!!! I'm a taco lover so I was pretty excited to find out about the new taco restaurant opening next to the place where I work, H&M. I took a friend of mine to try this new restaurant, R Taco. The first I noticed was their name. I was intrigued as to what the letter 'R' stood for. From the outside, the restaurant looked simple, yet the color theme they chose made it noticeable for people passing by to want to come in. Upon entering, this man who stood near the door was kind enough to open the door for me. At first, I thought he was just a customer because he didn't say much after I thanked him. One thing I noticed was the stitched word 'Rusty's' on his shirt. I didn't think much of it and went on to look at the menu that was hung on the wall next to the cash register. My eyes then shifted to a picture next to the menu. All of a sudden, everything made sense. The owner's face stared back at me and his name is Rusty. The 'R' stands for Rusty. Realization dawned on me, I just met the owner without realizing it. We stood in line not long until it was our turn to order. They had a good variety of items on the menu for everyone to enjoy. The menu includes handmade tacos, breakfast tacos, dessert, beer, and margaritas. I got three tacos including chips and salsa. The employees seemed happy doing their job because they all greeted me with a smile. I got the chips and salsa within 5 minutes of ordering. The salsa was warm with a little kick of spice, just the way that I like it. The three tacos that I got (left to right): #8 Baja Shrimp Taco, #9 Rusty Taco, and #2 Roasted Pork Taco on corn tortillas. Also, there were three hand-made sauce available from mild, medium, and hot. Which I got all three to try. My favorite out of the three is definitely the #8 Baja Shrimp Taco. It comes with crispy or grilled shrimp, the option that chose, with creamy Baja sauce, red cabbage, cilantro, and a sliced lime. The shrimps were well-seasoned, the Baja sauce gave it a kick with its spiciness, and the citrus from the lime topped it off perfectly. If you're a pineapple lover the #9 Rusty Taco would be perfect for you. It comes with achiote pork, pineapple, onion, cilantro, and a sliced lime. The first bite that I took was filled with flavors all battling one another. The sweetness from the pineapple and the citrus from the pork and lime combined made my taste buds danced with the different flavors. If you don't prefer pineapples on your pork taco then I'd suggest ordering the #2 Roasted Pork Taco. It comes with pork that has been rubbed with coarse pepper, sea salt and garlic, then roasted and served with cotija cheese, pickled red onions, and a sliced lime. For this taco, I had to add hot sauce to enhance the flavors a bit because it was kind of bland. This is my least favorite taco out of the three because it wasn't as flavorful as I thought it'd be. Overall, I had a great first experience at R Taco. I got my food within 5 minutes of ordering, and the service was good as expected. If you're looking for a cheap and fast taco place, then I'd recommend you try R Taco. read more

I ordered this as a catering option through EZ Cater and many of the items listed that I ordered were not delivered, including ice, plates, and 2-12 packs of water. The quantity and especially the side garnish was not enough to feed a group of 14 people (although it was specified in the order that it would feed 20 people), and the lettuce was old. The restaurant said they couldn't do anything about it. The service, quality of food, and lack of delivery was unacceptable and I will never order from here again. read more

Nice and crisp (clean) taco joint. Their location is an immediate failure to attract newcomers because you really can't spot it while you're on the wheels. It's actually in a shopping mall sort of corner behind everything else. You would actually have to know and hear about this place to actually go looking for this place. Either than that, their tacos are good. Very good. Costing about 2.50 per taco (2.75 for seafood-related), the tacos come in miniature sized of the regular tortilla tacos. I'd say "this place is perfect for girlfriends to come and hang out over some tacos but this place is no good to fill up a group of guys with just the two miniature tacos" (read below). The price can stack up fast. When my bf and I went, we ordered 2 sets of the (#2) Roasted Pork Tacos and (#5) Brisket Tacos, chips n queso, and one churro (I like to try everything) and the price came out to be 15 something. Pretty fair but when I suggested to my bf that he come here with his co-worker for lunch, he denied and said the above statement. I didn't have a problem with the service like many reviews before me had stated so I guess that's a good thing. If you like the taste of fresh tacos that are full of flavor, this place is worth a try. Had them for the first time today. After the first bite I warned my wife to take a bite before adding any red or green salsa on them. They had so much flavor, she said she was glad I warned her and she ate both her tacos with no extra sauce added to them. The guacamole and chips were great also. You get a really nice size order of guacamole, enough so two can share for a low price ($3.00). We will be going back here when we want tacos. They also have margaritas, beers and sodas. This place serves what they call Street (tiny) tacos. You chose which one or one's that you want and they put them together in front of you. We find them to be over priced, and after giving them several tries we always walk away regretting that we went there. The staff isn't nice, most of them will ignore you. The tacos have flavor but nothing that makes your mouth WOW! The tacos we've had there were dry, some super dry. No sour cream, salsa, nothing to add to help change the fact that they're dry. There is a salsa, hot sauce condiment type area but we still found our taco's dry. Last time we went we decided because they're so dry, and the crew isn't very welcoming, we wouldn't be back. I was really disappointed with this location of Rusty Taco. The food was great - no complaints there. The place just felt dirty and unkempt. The floors look like they haven't been mopped in at least a week. The fountain drinks were over carbonated and/or lacked syrup? I tried a few different sodas and noticed others pouring out their drinks as well. I went to the women's restroom before we left and there wasn't any soap. Looking just above the soap is a sign that says "employees must wash hands before returning to work". Once we paid she went to the back walking around and doing other things. 5 minutes later she walked to the front to fix our order. While fixing the Queso, she stopped putting our food in bags to clean an area. No we didn't have a big order. It was just Queso!!! And no, there wasn't anyone in the restaurant as well. So a total of 15 minute just to get Queso that stationed in the front is ridiculous. On top of it, there was crap everywhere and not well kept together. This is a favorite. Grilled Fish tacos, fried shrimp tacos, The Texican, and the Brisket tacos -- rich flavors and delicious. And a bargain at only a couple bucks each. Street style tacos with clean, peaceful setting and without all the annoyances or pains of the "street." The churros are somehow incredible- I've come just for the churros. They're that good. Tigers blood margarita is just right - not too sweet or syrupy. The tacos, the breakfast tacos, and the nachos (I recommend fried shrimp) are really great with options, fresh vegetables...and just overall good, easy dining. read more
