Can Panda explain to me why they start closing the restaurant down at 8:45? I went to get orange chicken and Lo mein and they literally had maybe 4 or five options out. Upsetting coming from a fellow restaurant worker and the one thing I'm looking forward to when I get off isn't available. I understand wanting to get off early, but if your hours day you close at 9:30....shouldn't you still be making food till at least 9:15? I've been to this location several times and overall I've experienced good service every time. Sometimes they run out of the entree that I want so I have to wait for it to be cooked. Long story short, Judith was yelling at her cook because she was frustrated that he could not hear her when she was speaking to him. Granted I could hardly make out what she was saying and I was standing even closer. She was wearing a mask and it was even harder for him to hear with all the food frying right in front of him. This Arboretum location NEVER has product ready to go. It's always, "but it can be ready in 5 minutes". How does the front line not see something is running low and not have the cook replenish? Yesterday, there were 3 pans empty and everything else almost gone. Again, it was "but it can be ready....". I left. Still craving today, I went back. They finally had my 2 entrees in stock but there were hardly any noodles in the Chow Mein....."but it can be ready....."! Come on...get your act together. Do a 1/2 restocking if not too busy. But every time I have been always has plenty of people in the place. I get food cost vs inventory but this is the whole concept behind Panda Express and can be managed better. I have used this location 2 times now for catering an office lunch. Both times the staff was well prepared and organized. My order was ready on time, it was hot and they helped carry it to my car. I got on a bus to go home but passed out and woke up at a random strip mall on Research Blvd. My phone was dead, I was unemployed, my heart was broken, and I was in the middle of nowhere. Enter: Panda Express. I walked into this location sobbing my eyes out and extremely drunk. Your employees not only supplied me with a phone charger, but they also treated me like family. They allowed me to wallow in self pity until my roommate called me a Lyft to my home in Hyde Park. I cannot recommend this Panda Express enough.
