    Pickup Counter
    Joseph H.

Came here on a Saturday to try them out. We were happy to learn that they have a BOGO deal for kids meals on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Buy an adult meal and get a free kids combo. Adult bowls cost about $16-17, so definitely not cheap. We ordered two bowls, one with lamb gyro and I went for the steak sirloin. Most of the toppings were free, and some premium toppings cost $1. With the two adult entrees, we were given two kids combo meals for free! Our food was ready less than 10 minutes later. We turned in our pager at the pickup counter, and carried our tray of food to our table. Presentation-wise, we thought they did a good job. Portion sizes seemed good as well. Each adult entree came with a protein, a choice of saffron or truffle brown rice, toppings, and a salad on top. The food was tasty and enjoyable, though we thought the meats and rice were dry and overcooked. They have drinks and sauce stations over to the side. We enjoyed their cilantro jalapeño sauce, which had a good, non-dairy, creamy texture that went well with our proteins. They had to-go lids available to pack our leftovers. We threw away our trash at the receptacle next to the door. Overall, we had a good experience here, but we probably wouldn't come here often. The price for a single adult entree would be cost-prohibiting if it weren't for the free kids combos.

I needed healthy protein, no thinking and intense flavor since I was coming off not eating for a few days of a respiratory illness. This hit the spot! I still think most kebab shops in the U.S. charge way too much for what they offer, but I will grant this is the best tasting kebab bowl I've had in a long time and it was under $20.

Friday lunches are for meeting with friends and family as well as trying new foods. Today was destination TDK Mediterranean. Our order included chicken kebab and hummus with pita bread. Enough for two people with leftovers. The food was fresh, hot and flavorful. The cashier was helpful when I asked about extra virgin olive oil. Although they did not have olive oil, I appreciated her asking the kitchen staff. The restaurant is extremely busy during lunch, so get here early. I really liked that there was ample space between tables to allow for appropriate social distancing. Heads up the restaurant is a bit pricey. I do believe they have above average quality. Really liked that TKS donates $100K per year to local schools....

    San Diego and steak wrap
    Artem V.

Great place! We ordered the San Diego and the steak wrap, and both were absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. The meat was juicy, the sauces were perfectly balanced, and the portions were very satisfying. The staff was also very friendly, ambiance awesome ,welcoming, and provided fast service. Overall, a great experience -- we will definitely be coming back!

Five people in line, two employees bouncing between register and kitchen, not even one child high chair available. I can only imagine wait time. And no can't sit down with toddler without a high chairs. Had to leave frustrated and disappointed. Not with the staff, but management. Management should be doing better. We went next door.

Carved Rotisserie Chicken Plate with Greek Salad and Veggies

We stopped in for the first time for lunch. We both ordered the Rotisserie Chicken plate. Includes two sides. I opted for veggies and Greek salad. Hubby ordered veggies and brown rice. They give you large portions and the food is very filling. I really liked all the sauces. Service was fast and the food came out quickly. This place was busy, but had plenty of seating. We will definitely be back to try more menu items.

    bowl and shawarma
    Amanda L.

Very yummy and pretty affordable! The shawarma is good and the meats here are very tasty. Their fries taste like mcdonald's but fresh and not as salty so that's a win in my book. You don't need all the fancy add on to make it taste good. The spicy sauce is also pretty good. I would come back!

    The Wrap
    Leah L.

Completely unimpressed. I ordered ahead for pickup. The menu and pricing were misleading. While building out our wraps, I noticed additional charges for every choice. I posted a picture of my receipt that was on my bag, and they don't even print the totals for you to see, I guess they don't want the upcharges to be known? Anyway, we also ordered 2 small orders of hummus, and small they were. The tiniest little spoonful I've ever seen, it was comical. And 1 small piece of pita bread. The wraps were big, but they were mostly lettuce and rice inside. A mere 2 tiny pieces of lamb in one, the lamb I was charged extra for. And the falafel wrap was also mostly rice and lettuce and 2 tiny falafel. Won't be back.

Place was clean Employees very polite. Food was cooked well but highly disappointed with lack of flavor. Everything lacked flavor. Even tried using the garlic yogurt sauce and fire sauce. Could just be a bad day and counted two guest while I sat down to eat. All the other reviews had me excited, hopefully when I'm back in town I will give another try.

I got the build your own bowl for pick up. The pick up process was really easy and the food was good. The food was ready pretty quickly as well.

A bunch of us had a wonderful time at their Wednesday ABBA + plate breaking night this past week…read more We enjoyed the food from dips, to meatballs, to the eggplant/zucchini chips as well as our drinks. Our reservations were at 5:30 and 5:45 pm so we were able to take advantage of their happy hour that ends at 6:00 pm and includes some 1/2 off apps and discounted cocktails. The DJ was cool and the plate breaking was really fun. The plate breaking happens inside using clay plates they give you to throw on a sheet inside (to make it much easier for cleanup I'm sure!) while the DJ plays Greek music as well as other ABBA and similar tunes. We met the Australian emcee! We had some confusion when we first arrived as to table seatings. A couple of us had called ahead to ask if we could be near each other and they said no guarantees unless we combined the res into one table of 18 people which would require each person to pay a prix fixe menu at $80 pp, which none of us was inclined to pay that day. We were never quite sure why there was an issue as we had 4 separate reservations around the same time so we thought they could just assign us tables near each other. Once onsite I spoke to one of the mangers (I think she was a manager) and we resolved it for some of us. They thought we wanted to push tables together and we explained again, no we didn't need to be next to each other but being on the same patio level would have been nice. As it was, one table of our group had to move to the "upstairs" patio so it was less than ideal but we waved to them to try to include them and made it work! We loved the energy of the staff and the fact they did their best to try to accommodate us. Hopefully if we go another time we will be able to sort out the logistics a little better. Definitely recommend ABBA with plate breaking night!

Overall, I had a good experience but I can't say I was completely blown away. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with bright white aesthetics that give off a Greek island vibe. I also loved the mural on the exterior wall and the flower arch at the entrance, which makes for a great first impression. Parking however, was a bit tricky. My Uber driver had some difficulty getting close to the entrance because of the layout and traffic flow around the restaurant. As for the food I decided to order the lamb since that's usually a standout dish at a Greek restaurant. Unfortunately, it didn't quite work for me. I'm not sure if it was the gaminess of the lamb or maybe the cocktail I had beforehand, but I started feeling queasy midway through dinner and had to step away for a bit. Luckily I recovered, but I wasn't able to finish the dish and mostly stuck to the fries and side salad afterward. My partner also mentioned that his beef dish was slightly overcooked. Service was a little inconsistent as well. It was a busy night, so I understand things can get hectic, but our waiter wasn't very attentive and rarely checked in on us throughout the meal. Maybe I ordered the wrong dish or came on an off night, but at this price point I've honestly had better experiences at a few other Mediterranean restaurants in Austin. I'm glad I tried it though I'm not sure I'd rush back.

However, I'll think about coming here again because I didn't feel a good vibe with the service. We had to go look for someone to show us the table even though the place was empty for early lunch. Then, to get drinks or even the order was a problem. It took so much longer than usual. Our waitress was rude, and seemed bothered that we showed up. Then someone else came as the waitress and she was preoccupied with other tables and barely checked on us. A regular lunch which would've been one hour became almost two because of the lack of service. My friend had to stand and look for someone to give us a box to take out the good we couldn't eat because it was getting late and also to get the check because No one came in to check on us at all. It's one of those places that's reliable and feels pretty consistent, knowing you're going to leave happy and full after eating here. The two times we've been there, theres always plenty of seating and are able to walk right in. It's a walk in and seat yourself experience and then you pay upon leaving. The staff keeps the dining area and buffet line consistently stocked and clean. They even provide hand sanitizer and gloves for you. Even when foot traffic picked up while we were there, the food was replenished quickly and didn't look picked over. Now let's talk food...Everything tastes fresh, well-seasoned, and like it was made with care instead of just being "buffet food" an under seasoned. The variety is also amazing, and it's easy to build a plate for pretty much any type of diet whether you're keto, high protein, balanced, veggie-forward, vegan, etc... Some of our favorite dishes we keep coming back for: Shredded beef (SO good), Baked fish (tender and not fishy), Garlic baked chicken (wonderful crispy skin), Fried chicken, Baked kafta, Kafta kebab, Gyro meat, Roasted cauliflower, Eggplant, Greek salad, Fatoush, Kale Caesar salad, Zaatar pizza, Cheese pizza (pro tip: top it with shredded beef- a life changing buffet hack), Rice with lentils, Rice with mixed veggies. For the quality, variety and amount of food you get, this is easily one of the best deals in the city! It's rare to find a buffet that's both affordable and consistently this good! If I had one small wish, it would be for desserts to match how strong the rest of the food is. They're not bad, just a little more "fine" compared to how amazing everything else is. I've seen another Dimassi's (I think in Cali) that had a frozen yogurt machine and I'd LOVE to see that here because it would be the perfect finish! Make a cup and then crumble up some baklava on it! Overall we've LOVED it here and we'll absolutely keep coming back! Great food, clean, consistent, and worth it every time!

In my family, we really like Demassi's. Not necessarily because everything there is amazing, but…read morebecause there is genuinely something to please everyone. Between me, my husband, and my mom, we have a lot of overlap in what we like to eat, but we also have some pretty distinct preferences, and Demassi's is one of those places where that works. My husband really loves Middle Eastern / Mediterranean food. I generally do not. I tend to find the meats too dry, I don't particularly like the spice profile, and I also find a lot of dishes in that category to be overly sour. It's hard to explain, but there's often a sharp, tangy acidity that I don't enjoy. For whatever reason, I don't have that issue at Demassi's at all. Here my husband can get his fix of dry, spiced meats, while I'm happy eating from the huge selection of rice dishes, cooked veggies, and soups. As far as protein goes, I actually really like the fish here, so I almost never eat the meat and still leave satisfied. It usually feels like a healthy pescatarian day for me, which I like. Then there's my mom, who just loves the abundance and variety of a buffet. She's happiest when she can sample a little bit of everything, build plates with lots of small bites, and then go back for more. Demassi's is perfect for that. On top of all of this, it's very reasonably priced, especially for lunch or on weeknights. It's always clean, the staff is consistently courteous, and they are really on top of bussing tables, which matters a lot to me at a buffet. Dirty dishes piling up are never an issue here. Overall, it's a solid, reliable spot for us and a place we're always happy to suggest when we're trying to please multiple people with different tastes.

My absolute favorite dish is the fried fish and chips--perfectly crispy on the outside and tender and flavorful on the inside. It's honestly one of the best versions I've had anywhere. On my most recent visit, I also tried the lettuce tacos, which seem to be really popular there right now. The moment I took my first bite I fell in love with the flavor. They were fresh, light, and packed with amazing taste. I ended up eating the whole thing right away because they were just that good. I also ordered the fried dill pickles, which are another personal favorite of mine. They were perfectly fried and full of flavor. One thing I've noticed every time I visit is that the restaurant is always busy, which says a lot. It's clear that many people love their Mediterranean menu, and after eating here multiple times, I completely understand why. I also enjoyed sitting outside at the Hill Country Galleria--it's a great atmosphere to relax and enjoy your meal. I highly recommend Artemis Mediterranean Grill if you're in the area. The food is delicious, the menu has something for everyone, and it's definitely a place I'll keep coming back to.

However, my shrimp pita only contained three shrimp. I opted for a Greek salad instead of fries. My husband said his dish was fine. Overall, the restaurant was much more crowded than I expected for a Thursday night in Bee Caves. The staff did their best to keep up with the demand. Although I saw two servers, the manager also helped out where he could. It took a while for us to be acknowledged and for our orders to be taken. However, the food came out quickly after we ordered. The place has a large patio area as well as indoor seating, plus a sizable bar with TVs. I felt the food was fresh and well-prepared. I do wish there had been more shrimp in my pita and that the price was lower. I paid $19 for a pita with just three shrimp, and there was an extra charge for the salad instead of fries. Since we don't eat out as much as we used to, I'm not sure when we will return.

The space has a fun, lively feel, and it's actually a great spot to post up and get some work done too. The WiFi is reliable, and they've got a mix of indoor and outdoor seating. The patio wraps around the back, which gives you a few different options depending on your mood. I don't usually do caffeine, but I made an exception here because I was too curious not to try a few things. I got the baklava latte and a Greek frappe, and honestly, no regrets. Both were really good and felt like a treat. Out front, you've got the busy street, which somehow ends up feeling kind of meditative while you sit and sip. I've also never had an issue with parking, which is always a plus. Looking forward to coming back and exploring the food menu more, but even just for drinks and coworking, it's already a solid spot.

Parking was a bit of a challenge but was able to park on the curb out front. Once inside, we placed our order at the counter and pre-paid and were given a number. They have an extensive menu with traditional Greek dishes and all-day breakfast options. As well as a full bar offering aromatic coffee, hand-crafted cocktails, fine wine, and a selection of local and international beers. The restaurant was busy we were able to place our order in a timely fashion. I opted for a cocktail along with lentils and rice and added chicken as the protein. There was indoor and outdoor seating available. After ordering, we sat outside in the most cozy and intimate outdoor seating area. Unfortunately, after waiting 30+ minutes, we never received our food. When we checked at the counter, the interaction felt pretty condescending, staff insisted the order had already been brought out even though we never received it and still had our number with us. At that point we had to cancel the order so we wouldn't miss our show. I do appreciate that they offered a full refund without issue, but overall the experience left us disappointed, especially with how the situation was handled.

My…read moreboyfriend and I decided to check it out while looking for an early dinner spot on a Saturday evening, and we were pleasantly impressed from the start. The waitstaff were extremely attentive and welcoming--two men and one woman--and made us feel comfortable right away. One of the male servers took the time to walk us through much of the menu, thoughtfully explaining the different dishes, which we really appreciated. We started with a shareable appetizer: the pick-three dips with pita. The portion came with plenty of pita, and we chose the eggplant dip, a split pea-based dip, and a whipped potato dip. While all were good, the whipped potato dip was my favorite--it was unique and especially delicious. For my entrée, I ordered the vegetable skewer. The presentation was beautiful, and the dish was very flavorful. It also came with pickled vegetables, which added a nice balance. My boyfriend ordered a shrimp dish that was more stew-like; he mentioned the tomatoes tasted very fresh and really enjoyed it. Overall, the meal was filling, well-portioned, and reasonably priced. We'll definitely be coming back.

Or better yet make a reservation from their website. We were able to seat outside half way under the covered patio, I'm giving a 4 because of the pesky flies/bees which I know they have no control over but maybe a few bug zappers wouldn't hurt. Started off with a Mimosa, then added the Melitzana, roasted eggplant like a course dip with fresh pita bites & pickled vegetables, so yummy. I ordered the Avgolemono Soup, extra creamy with egg and delicious. It was really good. My friend ordered the Aegean Omelette, wow that was a plate full of deliciousness. Our server was very attentive, kept our water glasses full, and made sure we had extra pita for our dip. Highly recommend, will be returning for dinner service.
