I tried out this digital kitchen and was pleasantly surprised. The space is spotless and feels brand new, and ordering online is easy (use a web browser or get the app). My food was ready lightning fast. It's tucked away in the Arboretum, and the big oak trees around the building give it a calm, scenic vibe you wouldn't expect from a grab-and-go spot. Picked up Cava from this digital kitchen pickup location after a nearby meeting. I have never been to this area before, but it was so nice! Easy to park right in front and place my order on my phone. It was ready in 10 minutes. Our bowls were stacked full! This was the best cava bowl I've had in a long time. It was actually correct and there was a good portion of each ingredient. I love getting a huge salad here with falafel and veggies. There is no service here since you have to order on your phone, but whoever is working in the kitchen is doing a great job. July 17, 2025 review: ---- I got the catering done from this place. Food was good but experience - not so good. 1. I called multiple locations, I was first told you need an app, then one of location told me that West lake is the only location that takes the catering order but they wouldn't pick up my phone. I was able to get the catering manager number, left voicemails too but no call ever got returned. 2. I had called them in advance and asked to mark each single bowl. But still almost 10% of the bowls were not marked. Now since I knew my order quantity, I could figure it out. Also the way they packed it, some of the lid got open and wasn't perfectly sealed, till the food came to me. 3. I called probably 5-6 times in the days following food delivery, each time I'll talk to someone who will they will send me receipt but I never got one. Can you imagine paying over 500 dollars but not able to get a receipt after multiple days of order. I can get a receipt for 1 dollar item but can't get one for catering? That was completely unacceptable. That's why reducing stars. Keeping it for 2 for the food. Btw, falafel balls and sauce are much better at the kebab shop. read more

Contract to other reviews, I actually like the idea of having a digital only. It helps avoid confusions/ screaming in lines and they can keep the food fresher. However , I hate downloading apps though so it could be helpful to have a website version for those not wanting to download an app. Another point for improvement is to have a notification for when your food is ready. We went during prime time and it's a little difficult to hear people call out names. However the people working here are super friendly! I think because everything is digital, it makes them want to talk to people more. The food is always fire. The chicken is so yummy and the pita is good and warm. I like the bowls here but the wraps are good too. The spicy harissa has a bit of a bite, but def manageable. I'm not the biggest fan of the crazy feta but that's bc I don't care for feta. It's an interesting concept - one I haven't seen before. You order on your phone. Pick up in the store and take home or eat in the restaurant. I ordered the "Create Your Own" Greens and Grain bowl, with romaine, saffron Basmati rice, Tzatziki, harissa honey chicken, fire roasted corn, avocado, and balsamic Date Vinaigrette. A side pita, brownie, and strawberry citrus for my drink. The bowl was delicious - would definitely get again. Not a fan of the brownie. It was ok, but not my preferred type of brownie. Maybe it was a healthy version? It was very small and not sweet. I don't mind the small, but it needed more flavor for me. Otherwise a good experience. I will definitely go again. read more

We have done catering and had the option where you pick all the toppings and then can build your own bowl, and we have also gotten individual bowls. Both options have been delicious. A friend and I went in one afternoon and there were no employees (I believe they were all in the back) we had never been and it seemed that you can only place orders through an app and not in person. we tried to read the led display for any directions, having to wait to let the screens cycle through info, we finally realized that no one would help us and they had no idea we were even there and this was infuriating and difficult. we left. never again. It's really an interesting option, and honestly, I'd like to see more of them. But how's the food? In a word, delicious, I've had take-out probably five times now, and it's always been excellent and exactly as I ordered. The ingredients are plentiful and fresh, including meats and vegetables. and the proportions are always right. CAVA is one of my favorite places to get food, especially dining at lunchtime. Understandably, there can be a rush if you come into a restaurant and order your food. However, I was disappointed in the fact that I had ordered my food ahead, and chosen from their available time but was unable to pick up my food when I went in and had to wait 30 minutes to receive it. I was inside with 20 people all of who had ordered but I was glad there were tables and chairs because of how long it took. I have a fairly long lunch but for someone who has a short one they would've been late returning to work. It was disheartening after 30 minutes to hear the employees in the back saying 'we have caught up' while I continued to wait for my order. I had to eat my food quickly before starting my meetings and couldn't truly take my time to enjoy it. I hope that over time this establishment will get better and at least have somebody come out as they're dropping off the orders to apologize for the wait or let us know that they're working as quickly as possible. I would have let this go if I hadn't put my order in ahead of time but also, there was no way for me to cancel my order so I could go somewhere else. As always the food was good. read more

When I arrived I noticed it was not a traditional location where you can just walk in and order, instead you order via the cava app. I was a little hesitant at first but once my order was placed it was ready within minutes and my order was correct.
