6/24/24 Not too bad for 2 plates
Kathy R.

This review is for the Panda Express location in uptown Pearlridge food court. After we were done at the Satellite City Hall upstairs, we went downstairs to pick up some dinner. It was about 2:30PM & there was a short line, about 2 people ahead of us. The food on display looked pretty good. It didn't look like it sat there for hours, which we appreciate it. We were greeted by a young gal who was cordial to us, not overly friendly. Hubby ordered the big plate & his choices were chow mein, double order of honey walnut shrimp, & mushroom chicken. I had the 2 item plate of chow fun, mushroom chicken, & beef broccoli. Their plates are still reasonably priced. The young man that rang us up was also cordial, efficient, not super friendly. He advised us right off that they no longer provide plastic take out bags but sell a red take-out bag. I did not catch the price of the bag. I thought he said $1.20 or it may have been 20 cents. Either way, I didn't need one since I already had an extra bag with me. I was surprised when we got home that my hubby's 3rd entree item was not put in a little box which they've done numerous times before. Instead, his chicken mushroom was just dumped on top of the honey walnut shrimp. Overall, the entrees and the noodles had the same consistent & excellent flavor. The vegetables were crisp & crunchy (zucchini, broccoli). However, I was disappointed in the ratio of veggies to meat in the entrees, & quality. For the beef & broccoli, I had almost all broccoli including a couple of huge pieces & only 2 pieces of beef. My mushroom chicken had a good ratio of chicken (nice, bite-sized pieces), mushrooms, & zucchini. On my hubby's plate, good-sized shrimp but the walnuts in it tasted old. HIs mushroom chicken had lots more veggies than chicken. In fact, he only had a few pieces of chicken - maybe 3 - and they were so small in size like a size of a cheerio cereal. Wasn't too happy about that. The quality of Panda's food has really come down. Portions are still the same but within the portions, the customer somehow gets cheated. Panda Express still offers good value, they just need to be consistent in what they dish out for the customer's orders.

Half noodles and fried rice with chicken mushrooms and green beans with chicken

Me and my daughter ordered food from here while hubby got his own food elsewhere. I got my daughter the kid's meal. I got half noodles and half rice with orange chicken with a kids drink. I ordered half fried rice and half noodles with mushroom chicken and green bean with chicken. My absolute favorite was the mushroom chicken. I always get this when I go to Panda Express. Food was good. I got a medium Coke zero. We also got fortune cookies. There's plenty of seating inside the food court which was right next to the movie theater we came out of. There were tables without cushions and regular tables with wooden chairs. Food was good and service was pretty fast. I ended up spending around $21 for me and daughter's food and drinks. Not bad. I would come back if I was here at the food court and craving Chinese food.

Mushroom chicken, sweet fire chicken breast, super greens

I love Panda Express! If you want cheap, fast, chinese food, this is where you go! If you want a more intricate chinese dish with deep flavors, then don't come here! You get what you pay for, and i love it! Just make sure you get some of those soy sauce and hot sauce packets before leaving! Hahaha But it's fresh, it's hot, and it fills me up, and not to mention, affordable. Everyone in our family loves it. "Let's just go Panda!", and no one disagrees. I don't think there's a dish here that I don't like, I've tried everything and they are delicious. Let me just talk about my favorites. I love their sides, especially the wide noodles. I'm not sure if this is only in Hawaii but I don't remember seeing it in the mainland. But what I am so glad to know about is that they have super greens now as an option for their sides! It's broccoli, kale, and cabbage. I think it's perfect if you prefer to not eat carbs. As for the main entrees, i love their honey walnut shrimp and sweet fire chicken breast. You gotta pay extra for the shrimp but it's all good cause they give you a lot anyway. I also love their beijing beef. The wok fried shrimp was nothing special, i feel like it's the same sauce they use with one of their dishes, I just can't pinpoint which. Overall, we love it here. Quick, easy, delicious!

Panda Express #1866 (Pearlridge Uptown) I love Panda Express! I have never complained about their food, service, portion size etc. until I visited this location in pearlridge uptown. I've been coming here ever since. I ordered the usual thing i got chow mein with orange chicken and beef broccoli. I usually just order food and I dont bother to check/watch how people serve and i go straight to the register because i trust them. When i got home and i opened my plate lunch, there were only 2 slices of beef and bits of it; broccoli was over cooked and chow mein was bland (had to add soy sauce). The orange chicken was the only best thing. Again, i never complained about panda express until now, i am so disappointed!

Emric K.

Had an appointment at Pali Momi and since the food court is close by, we decided to stop over at the Pearlridge mall. We like the chow fun at Panda Express and I also got the Mongolian beef and honey walnut shrimp as my choices. Food is decent for a quick bite, but if you really want the real thing, there are lots of options on Oahu for Chinese food.

Shirleen W.

Cheap eats, worth the price and fills you up! $10 for a plate. Orange chicken, honey walnut shrimp & chow Meir.

Allison M.

Wow! Out of all the panda express experiences I've had this has been the best! The service was really splendid and I was even picky about my order. Good team and they seem to like to work there too!

There's a lot of parking in front or just down the slight hill which opens to a bigger parking lot. The dining room looked brightly lit, clean and inviting. No other customers were there & the rest of our party didn't come yet either. Our table could seat possibly 8 people but there was only 6 of us so we removed some of the chairs so everyone could sit comfortably. We ordered the following: * Char sui fried rice - nice taste with the char sui mixed within the fried rice. * Peppered beef w veggies - good taste, the veggies consisted of bell peppers and onions. * Walnut shrimp - nice shrimp pieces fully covered w the cream/sauce served w walnuts on the side. Nothing fancy; tasted like others that I've tasted before. * Oyster sauce chicken over cake noodles - wish there was better chicken pieces and more sauce for the cake noodles. I had to scrape up whatever sauce was on the serving dish to top off the cake noodles. * Pork chops - this was one of my favorites as it was cooked perfectly and tasted great. There was this green onion & jalapeño mix on it but I don't like spicy so I stayed away from the jalapeños. Crispy gau gee - it was small and it tasted ok. Have seen bigger, filled gau gee. Service - the ladies came around frequently to refill our water glasses. We were given take out boxes to bring home the leftovers. Their sweet and sour sauce was good. I spooned that over everything. Prices - seemed reasonable enough Would we return? Maybe but if we really wanted to eat Chinese food, we probably would go somewhere else. Would we recommend this place? Sure, as everyone has their own taste. I understand this is the 3rd owner and I wouldn't want them to close up because of my review. You'll just have to go & try it...select what you like to eat and see for yourself. This review is just my own opinion. Good luck to Golden Wheel.

First, the price was pretty high compared to the amount of food they served and the flavor of their menu. All the foods we ordered wasn't very flavorful either and they charged 3% for credit cards. His favorite food was rice noodles, and his wife would bring to him daily, but it would get cold. To keep it hot, she brought chicken soup in a fire-heated ceramic pot that she kept piping hot while added more noodles and other ingredients. Her ingenious way of keeping the food hot became known as "crossing the bridge noodle." Opened in Uptown Pearlridge near Ross Dressed for Less in Aug 2023, Ten Seconds to Yunnan Rice Noodle is known for its customizable Yunnan-style rice noodle soups stewed within a hot broth and 10 side dishes of meats, veggies, and toppings for a signature hot pot experience based on this legend. There are various choices of broths, e.g., pork bone, spicy sour, tomato and are served with fatty beef, pork belly, veggies, etc. They also offer: * Additional soup broths in the cauldron with rice noodles, e.g., hot sour, tomato, and Szechuan mala spicy. There are also ready-to-eat noodles soup served separately with chicken thighs, fish fillets, seafood, laksa, tofu, won tons, beef tripe, etc. * Hong Kong style dim sum, e.g., shrimp pork hash, shrimp dumplings/rolls, spareribs, chicken feet, turnip cake, sticky rice, spring roll, tripe, fish cake, xiao long bao. * Appetizers: beef tongue/shank, pig ear, chicken wings, calamari, fried buns/tofu. * Desserts: and their signature Japanese souffle pancake from their sister Cloud 9 Café HI, bubble waffle. * Drinks: milk teas, fruit teas, iced coffee. The restaurant is a China-based franchised chain with 750 locations in the US and 70+ locations in No. America. This restaurant is the 1st and only location in HI at Pearlridge. This restaurant initially caught my interest when it first opened; however, as it is not close to my home, I eventually forgot about it until just recently when I was in the area. So hubby and I had a quick lunch there. We had just wanted to try their most popular menu offering, the original pork bone soup rice with rice noodles and fatty beef. We were told that one order is sharable between two people. Perfect! Our server brings out a black cauldron of the piping hot pork bone soup. She then brings out a tray of 10 little round porcelain dishes of chives, pickled cabbage, quail egg, goji berries, wood ear fungus, white fungus, meat paste, ham, tofu puff, and corn. Slightly larger ceramic servers included cooked fatty beef, fresh lettuce, and cooked rice noodles made with 100% rice flour. We were instructed to add the beef and lettuce to the broth, then add the 10 ingredients s and stir well, and finally add the rice noodles and wait 10 seconds until ready to eat. We enjoyed it, and wondered whether this was a trendy novelty concept, in addition to being an authentic appreciation of Yunnan foods. We used the house chili oil, which gave the soup a good kick in heat! Our server, Janelle, was very friendly and patient, knowing that this was a first time for us. She explained the process, which made it easy to understand. We explained that since this was our first time, we wanted to try the signature soup and then trying others the next time we visit. Hours of operation are daily from 11a to 8p. The restaurant interior is clean, bright, and spacious. Ambiance is casual and welcoming with interior décor of Chinese lanterns. Free parking is available in the Pearlridge Shopping Center that is shared with other businesses of the shopping complex. There are daily discounts: Monday - military 10%; Tuesday - senior 10%; Wed, Thurs, Fri - early bird discount. There is a 3% credit card fee. What interesting concepts in the authentic flavors, fresh ingredients, and unique "crossing the bridge noodles!" We look forward in returning to try different menu offerings of various soup broths, appetizers, dim sum, and desserts! A great introduction to Chinese hotpots!
