Salsa's in Evans, GA, off Washington Road near Walmart, is my family's go-to spot whenever I visit…read morehome in Augusta. The food is consistently delicious, and it's always a great place for a family meal. This time, I ordered the Fajita Trio and paired it with a Mango Chamoy margarita--both were absolutely amazing! The fajitas were packed with flavor, and the margarita had the perfect balance of sweet and tangy with a little kick from the chamoy. I will say that this time, the fajitas weren't sizzling when they arrived at the table. They were warm but not hot, which was a little surprising (and yes, I know the water-on-the-skillet trick). Thankfully, this didn't take away from how tasty the dish was. The service was great as always, and the atmosphere feels like home every time we go. If you're in the Evans area, Salsa's is definitely worth a visit!

Definitely a disappointment! We lived in Augusta about eight years ago and LOVED Salsa's - this was…read moreour first visit back in several years and yikes. It was unfortunately a miss. The wait to order was around 30 minutes with another 40 before we got our food. The food was less than fresh - very greasy and unfortunately nearly inedible. The only saving grace was the guacamole casero and the elote. The margaritas are pretty good too! The place has certainly gotten bigger - way more than enough seating. Unfortunately, I don't think they have the staff for it. There also is an out door patio!

This place screams go elsewhere for your big burrito. It's been a minute since I last visited but…read moreman this place has lost more than a step. It's obvious the owners are looking for profit on ask the wrong ways to open their second location. They use to have a vast selection of hot sauces and now there is 6 different bottles with 3 being empty sitting sad above the salsa bar.. That's probably not a bad thing as the hot sauces are now off such a poor quality that they are what you would expect out of a dollar tree clearance rack. The salsas are still good but given the quantity of chips in my to go order you won't have anything to dip in them. I had 6 chips.... 6... Why bother if that's all your giving as that's just enough to make you mad. Well that left room for a big burrito right? Nope. This thing was taco bell sized. Easily30-40% smaller than chipotle or diablos. Surely there is quality ingredients right? The chicken in the burrito was dry dry dry over cooked. No big chunks just little hard over cooked over charred pebbles.. match that with either rice that was under cooked or under the heat lamp too long.. Least there wasnt a lot of the filling as the ratio of tortilla was so high that's all you really tasted and ate anyway .. You can't raise prices and make the product smaller and less quality all at the same time. Its well worth driving farther to Diablos or two businesses over to Chipotle.

Friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming. The chips and salsa deserve their own little party: crunchy, fresh, and gone too quickly. Now, about that Jalisco burrito... let's just say it might've spent a little too much time in deep reflection. Dry chicken, minimal seasoning--it came out more existential crisis than flavor explosion. Not inedible, just not a flavor memory I'll treasure. Still, I'm not giving up. I'll be back to try other dishes. Maybe next time, the burrito will be less philosophy major, more culinary

They weren't particularly busy for 6pm on a Friday. I also saw they have a drive thru. Our server was new and there were a few mishaps with the orders but they fixed it pretty quickly. The chips were fresh. I enjoyed the salsa as it has the right amount of chunkiness. I got the street tacos....you can pick 3 different ones. I got carnita, pastor and asada. Couldn't tell the difference between two of them so not sure if they gave me the same ones....the meat had a nice crispiness to it. I enjoyed the pastor taco that had pinapple. The sweetness complements the pork. I appreciate the homemade Tortilla. It came with a spicy sauce that was super hot so try it out before putting it on your food.
