    Chips

Stopped by alazan the other day after work with some friends. A standard tex-mex spot with chips and salsa, tex-mex fair, and cucumba margarita. I ordered the enchalada verde which had 3 enchiladas, one with shreded chicken, one with spinach, and one with cheese. The chicken enchilada had some shredded white meat chicken that was a bit too chewy for me. I preferred the spinach enchalada and the cheese enchelada, and I appreciated the variety. The salsa verde tasted similar to store bought salsa verde. It came with re-fried beans and mexican rice. The cucumber margarita was solid with a few slices of cucumber inside and refreshing cucumber flavor, a nice twist on the standard margarita. I would order this again. Overall, the food wasn't extremely impressive, but service was fine and the margarita was a nice way to end the work day.

    Friday Celebration!

We came in on a Friday afternoon with family for a late lunch/early dinner. As a party of 5, we were seated right away in one of the larger booths. Our waiter got out drink and appetizer orders promptly. We ordered some of their queso, which was delicious and each got small margaritas (which are very generous for smalls). The time between ordering our food and its arrival at our table was very fast! The burrito loco was the entire length of my plate and covered generously in white queso. I got it with steak, and it was very flavorful and delicious. I was not able to finish it all in one sitting and took leftovers home. My husband got the Alazan fajita, which had a variety of meats- chicken, steak, shrimp along with onions, green peppers and fresh tortillas. He finished it all and said it was amazing. The services is great, food is wonderful and the atmosphere is colorful and perfect for family or friend gatherings!

I would have taken a photo earlier for a review but I could not stop eating

First thing when walked in I knew I was going to have a good time. Ambiance was great and fun and was greeted with a server who was beyond polite. Food came and that's when the true gem was! My mom and I both ordered a meal and came with SO much fresh food it was such a pleasant surprise as this was our first time eating here! We both agreed we would recommend this to anyone!

This place is located off Furys ferry and Evans to locks rd. Very cool little Mexican restaurant with multicolored tables and nice artwork. The food was delicious and the service was awesome! Whenever I'm on this side of town I stop by and try it out.

It's very impressed. The cheese dip was salsa was excellent and I enjoyed it. The only thing I had a problem with is that the person who got the chips together in the bag they didn't do a great job of rolling it up and a lot of the chips spilled in the back. It was a good thing I had other tortilla chips to eat with. Other than that wonderful restaurant.

Popped in here for lunch before our big trip on a recommendation. They quickly brought complementary chips and salsa which were both very good. The salsa comes in a small bottle that allows you to pour it out into the individual bowls they provided or on to your meal (a nice touch). I order the Pastor Torta and my wife had the tamale plate. My Torta was just ok, with a large amount of mayo masking the taste of the pork and other ingredients... My wife's tamale was pretty good but not the level she is still trying to find that she had in Costa Rica a few years back. Food 3.5- Better than average but needs some work to get me to be a regular. Service 4 - Quick Service Atmosphere 4 - What you would expect in a Mexican restaurant. Price 3.5- Price is normal range but I expect more flavor. OA - 3.5- It's all about the food!

We dined in last night and had shrimp tacos, fish tacos and shrimp fajitas. I also had the frozen strawberry margarita. This was probably the best Mexican food we've had since we moved to the area- and it was quick and friendly service!

This is a cute little Mexican restaurant. I loved the paintings on the tables. The food was good, not amazing... But definitely better than most of the Mexican restaurants around here. I ordered a jumbo margarita, and it tasted perfect. I was definitely feeling good after that one margarita ;-). Our server was also very knowledgeable and friendly.

The mex place is a hit or miss, staff can be sneaky or does not understand English. Food is generally good.

We always get the mariachi platter. It is like a sampler platter. Always ask for extra queso. Good experience.

My daughter stated she gives them a 20 out of 10. When we arrived they weren't busy but the crowd started shortly after. The establishment was very clean and chill. Our server was so sweet and the food was amazing! We ordered a large cheese dip for the table. My son and I are fans of empanadas and wr orders chicken and beef. I would have preferred cheese in mine and a little more seasoning in the beef. But, no worries, I added the cheese dip on top. My son and I also had the Burrito Grande with chicken; soooo good. My daughter had the Pizza Birria and it was delicious. She stated it was the best she's had and trust me she's had her share. My husband had the quesadilla el patron. For drinks, I started off with the Pineapple Aguas Frescas but traded it for the Mango one. The mango was better. My son had the fruit punch Jarrito, my daughter had the mango as well, and my husband had the Horcheta. Needless to say, we will return. This is probably our favorite now!

I love their abundant meat options, which are basically any meat and style you can think of. Their elote/esquite was ok and i think probably very authentic, but i prefer the (undoubtedly less authentic) version where it's just a little bit of corn in a huge cup of mayo. The service is amazing. They are so nice, and when our little one was having a rough time the waitress came over and tried playing with him and helping out. Every time a server would pass by they'd stop and smile at him and you could tell he was the most popular guy in the shop. The -1 star is just for the ambiance, which is fine but nothing spectacular. It can get quite loud, and the fluorescent lights are very bright and a little off putting. It's a fine place to get great Mexican food, it's just not the most pleasant place to eat.

Friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming. The chips and salsa deserve their own little party: crunchy, fresh, and gone too quickly. Now, about that Jalisco burrito... let's just say it might've spent a little too much time in deep reflection. Dry chicken, minimal seasoning--it came out more existential crisis than flavor explosion. Not inedible, just not a flavor memory I'll treasure. Still, I'm not giving up. I'll be back to try other dishes. Maybe next time, the burrito will be less philosophy major, more culinary

They weren't particularly busy for 6pm on a Friday. I also saw they have a drive thru. Our server was new and there were a few mishaps with the orders but they fixed it pretty quickly. The chips were fresh. I enjoyed the salsa as it has the right amount of chunkiness. I got the street tacos....you can pick 3 different ones. I got carnita, pastor and asada. Couldn't tell the difference between two of them so not sure if they gave me the same ones....the meat had a nice crispiness to it. I enjoyed the pastor taco that had pinapple. The sweetness complements the pork. I appreciate the homemade Tortilla. It came with a spicy sauce that was super hot so try it out before putting it on your food.
