Burritos were poorly constructed as one part was straight rice throughout the whole burrito, and the rest was beans. Then, the pico de gallo was at the bottom exclusively. The ingredients weren't well mixed nor incorporated and seemed sloppily put together. Not to mention the salsa was horrible. It was just ketchup with other stuff mixed in. It was way too sweet and tasted nothing like salsa. The burrito itself had no seasoning and the rice didn't even taste like cilantro-lime but tasted like watery stovetop rice. And the chips were over-salted. And I do love some salted chips but this was WAY too much. This experience was horrid, especially for my first time eating here. A quick decision was made to finally try Moe's today for lunch. I chose a create your own bowl. I added regular chicken, spicy chicken and steak along with several other fixings. It was delicious although I didn't care for the level of heat from the spicy chicken. I will leave that off if I ever come back. Service was great. Easy pick-up, always on time. Food is almost always correct and included salsas and napkins. Moe Mondays are a little more expensive now but, still make it worth it to come here and save on lunch. Last time I came - I tried a quesadilla for the first time. It was pretty large and it did taste really good. I was craving Mexican and decided to stop by. First glance the menu was a bit confusing. I decided to gi with the Homewrecker after hearing what the previous customer ordered. My Homewrecker was made with Carnitas meat with everything on it but pico hot sauce and jalapeno on the side with pinto beans and cilantro rice. The burrito was cold, surprisingly after see the server heat up the tortilla. The carnitas was bland and had no seasoning, like it was steamed. I spent more time trying the different hot sauce to drown out my bland burrito. The chips given to me, looked like only a handful (see picture). For the price of a Moe Monday, I cant complain, but i probably would not pay the full price for a bland burrito. On the bright side, I was able to get my food quickly after my order. First off, I have been to Moes many many times in my life. I like the food, service is normally top tier, however, the past few times everything about my experience has been horrid. The last time I went the server put somebody's entire meal in the bag with my chips, then ran to my car, stopped me, and asked for it all back. He then ran back inside, giving me back barely any chips and leaving out my side of guacamole and vinegarette. The time before that, the workers behind the counter were yelling inappropriate and vulgar statements at eachother stating the other should "kill themselves". Then, while still yelling profanity and fighting behind the counter they then burnt my food and continued to serve it to me. Overall, i have been unhappy with my service at Moe's and I hope I can see improvement in the near future. #TSPMO! read more

Great tasting steak tacos! Great customer service and the Hubert lemonade machine made my day! I actually like it and the customer service better than Chipotle, because of the aluminum foil on the bottom of the box, which maintains the heat, so the tacos are not cold as soon as you leave the restaurant. read more

On wednesday 12/6/23 I went to moes in evans to get an order on the line and got to the cashier to pay. They charged me for a steak burrito and not the chicken burrito i seen them make and i got home and felt sick due to me not eating steak. The service was efficient for our party of six. This fast food Mexican restaurant was almost empty at lunch time on a Thursday. The bowl with chicken, seasoned rice, guacamole, vegetables and cilantro was fine. Guacamole or an extra scoop of meat will cost you extra. The size portion was generous. The entree came with complementary chips. I also tried the cilantro rice, which was average. It would be healthier if Moe's was offering the option to get brown rice. You can sample various sauces at their sauce bars. The venue was clean. Last night was my second visit to this location. Once I ordered online and once in person. I don't usually like ordering burritos online because I want to make sure it was made properly and if you order a burrito online you can't tell if it was made correctly until eating it. Both ways, in person and online, worked out well and I was satisfied with the burritos. This is one of the better Moe's locations for the taste of food but the size of the burritos is also smaller than most other Moe's locations. I'd almost call my burrito last night tiny. Moe's is great place for a big ole burrito fix. The Homewrecker is delicious, but recently I went to the nachos... and I might not go back. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially when I had never been there before and they walked me through the line. Choose your protein, chicken, ground beef, steak, pork, tofu. Select your beans, cheese, sauce, veggies, etc. You'll get chips and your choice of queso or guacamole. My wife gets a queso, I'll get the guac, we share. She usually steals all the guac. :( I believe Tuesdays are kids eat for $.99, but call ahead first. My kids love their burritos. Moe's is always a hit with the family, and the kids would eat here every day of the week if we let them. It's hard to go wrong with their variety of toppings and your choice of nachos, tacos, burritos, bowls, and quesadillas. I personally never go out of my way to eat here, but when we do, I always get my green salsa fix. That stuff is packed with cilantro and delicious. My sister in law is vegan, so this place has fantastic options for her since you basically build the food yourself. The servers change gloves with every new order, so there is little chance of cross-contamination. (She is super sensitive to meat products.) It's like Subway for mexican food! I know it's a chain, but since this was the first time I had ever heard of Moe's, much less eaten there, I was excited to try it. Coming from California, I'm sorry but I have to say that this is much better than Chipotle. It feels more like a Subway then standing in a cafeteria line. (Chipotle has its good things too, don't freak out on me now. ) The ingredients are fresh, and the atmosphere is fun and funky. I loved the hearty "Welcome to Moe's!" that they sound off when customers enter. It reminds me of Japan, and the welcome you would receive in pretty much any restaurant, grocery store, or shopping mall. Nice people, solid food. Since you're in control of what goes into your food, you really only have yourself to blame if something isn't to your liking. I'm officially a fan of Moe's. And their salsa bar. Pretty good tacos. Used to get the chicken but it was pretty dry, so I got the pork instead....it was really juicy and very tasty, just wish my taco wasn't dripping when I am trying to eat it. Probably the first time I have ever had a bad experience at a Moe's. Customer service started off fine and then the young girl who actually compiled my junior homewrecker stepped in. She was very.......rude. I get not wanting to work...but, do any of us want to??? Eye rolling and trying to rush me out the door was not the best choice. She always moved to the next section before I even had time to tell her what I would like (and no, she didn't ask...). At the end she couldn't even roll the burrito, but I am glad her manager was there to help her. I did not say anything because their line was out the door...Mondays are $5.55 and the line super long! I have been to moes before and this one needs a little help. The people were nice and fast to serve. The burritos were made to order and were well put together. The salsa bar had 5 flavors and it was clean and all salsa was full. The burritos tasted good. So why the 2 star? It was a Sunday evening and they weren't busy and the place was filthy. The trash cans were overflowing. the floors dirty and many tables needing wiping. The coke machine needs to be serviced as several selections were unavailable. Why have the machine if the special flavors are out. Then there was the bathroom. For as many people working you think that someone could take a minute to clean. Was craving a burrito and options are scarce to I subjected myself to giving this Moe's a shot. They gave a pathetic amount of chicken--maybe a tablespoon for the whole burrito. When I asked the server, "that's all the chicken you guys serve?" He replies, "yes sir that's the correct portion." Then during folding, he drops the largest piece of chicken out of it so even after the already pathetic portion, I lost another 20% or so of the chicken. My wife got queso which was luke warm. When I went to throw out our trash, it was filled to the brim so I had to stuff it. Being 2:20 pm, it was definitely peak hour of a well managed establishment... What a dump.
