This place has my favorite salsa, I love that they have a mild and spicy salsa for those with different spice preferences. The grilled chicken and veggies I order were cooked really well and juicy. The Salsas on Washington Road in Evans had a sign on the podium where they assign tables that read 20% off your entire visit today. No date was posted. I had a meal and was charged full price. I asked the waitress about the 20% discount and she said "Oh, that was yesterday" I have a photo of the sign but am unable to post it in this box. If they are unwilling to honor their discount they should take down the sign. read more

We use to come here all the time and was our go-to spot for Mexican food before venturing out to all the other spots around the city. 10 years ago I would have given this place 5 stars but since finding out most places are better I can't say this is not a good spot but it's not the greatest. Food was ok, no complaints but again I would go to any of the other spots nearby if I'm in the mood for good Mexican food. I always love the chips and salsa at most places but this salsa was spicy, definitely not something my kids would eat had they been with my wife and I. For a place called Salsas it doesn't have a strong salsa game. We always get queso dip wherever we goand this was almost store bought quality, nothing special. I ordered a bud light and it tasted nothing like it, even though I was assured it was "fresh". I was given a different beer at least, our server was great and probably the best part of the experience during the meal was her hospitality. The scenery inside is nice at least, it's not very open so you feel you have some privacy at your table without seeing what's going on around the whole restaurant as many other places do, which is good if you are wanting to hang out and conversate. Good specials throughout the week so if you do stop by be sure to save yourself a few bucks on a good variety of options. read more

I went to Salsa's with my family while visiting for Christmas. We came during lunch time on Christmas Eve. It wasn't many people there, so I knew our food would come quick. The Parking: Free parking with its own lot. The Service: The staff was very friendly. The Atmosphere: It was your typical Mexican restaurant. Good Latin music as you dine. There are also some televisions that show games, etc. The Food: For drinks, I ordered the small $2 frozen margarita, DELISHHHHH & honestly just enough. For my meal, I ordered the trio fajita with steak, shrimp, & chicken ($11.95). Very good! I'm from Augusta, so I've been to Salsa's several times in high school, but not so much as an adult, so it was refreshing and nostalgic eating here and the food is still good! Quality, taste and serving size of food has diminished. Chicken breast with too much fat and served in chunks instead of slices in which the meat is dry. Small amount of cheese sauce which is runny with no flavor punch to add that great taste to the dish. Last few experiences has not been a pleasure. read more

First and last time to visit this establishment. No one to greet us to sit down. Multiple waitresses trying to take our order when we had ordered. Someone else's check at our table :( Then the big one. The chicken burrito at $10.49 I thought I had ordered was actually $10.49 plus protein. The grilled chicken (no other chicken) was actually billed at $2.00 more on the menu that was away from the main description of the item (probably designed like that so you thought it was a good deal) then I get the check and they have charged me $3 extra and the check had the right item and protein. This is the 3rd restaurant in about 4 months that has different prices at the register than advertised in the menu. Pointed it out and the manager was like "Ok BOSS" !!! CHARGING MORE THAN LISTED ON THE MENU!! I have always enjoyed the food at Salsa's and have been here on multiple occasions. However, this evening when my friends and I received our checks we noticed that we had been charged more than what was listed on the menu. We were charged $12.94 for the $9.99 chicken fajita taco salad, $14.90 for the $10.95 chicken fajita burrito, and $18 for a $14 bean burrito combo with cheese dip. When we brought this to the attention of our waiter, he told us that those were the prices in the system and nothing could be done. The first manager that we spoke to told us that the restaurant had changed their prices and had not gotten their new menus yet, but the online menu (as pictured) showed the same prices as the paper menu. The second manager (her name was Claudia) told us the same thing and tried to tell us we could not be reimbursed because our checks were closed out an hour ago. Unfortunately it had been so long because we had been waiting to speak to the managers that whole time. They also repeatedly told us the upcharges were for shredded chicken despite the fact that I received grilled chicken, and shredded chicken is not even an option on the menu. Eventually, we were "reimbursed" with $6 cash when we were owed $11. It is very concerning for all customers of this restaurant that they are falsely advertising their prices and discreetly charging more. I worked in the restaurant industry for 6 years and am very understanding of the challenges that come with it, but the customer service we received was completely unacceptable and disrespectful. The managers do not seem to understand that they are breaking the law and I hope this review will save future customers from being ripped off. read more

I placed an order for pick up. I was told to drive up to the window and was given an order number. My husband and I pull up to the window and waited and waited. No one came to the window. Then I called to let them know that I was waiting, and they wouldn't answer the phone. Finally, I went in and told the hostess that I had been waiting at the window for my call in order. She directed me to the bar without an apology for my wait. I stood at the bar and not one of the three ladies acknowledge that I was standing there, so I then asked to speak to a manager. The hostess again was useless. She said he would be out front in a minute. He never came, so I just left. I won't be returning any time soon! I have never seen such poor customer service. read more

Salsa's is the best! Great Mexican food staple in the CSRA. The food is hot, delicious, and consistent with every visit! This is a great place for a quick meal (service is great!) or a longer dinner for an event. They have a drive thru, which I haven't tried yet, but service is fast when sitting inside so I'm sure it's quick. It's a fun environment with ample seating. I always get the Pick 2 Combo since it's such a great deal! I would highly recommend the chicken flautas or the chicken tamales. They also have great guacamole and margaritas! read more

I'm actually very disappointed with the fact that despite how authentic and delicious the food is, this restaurant is lacking in every other aspect. We have been here before for the food, but my in laws were in town so we decided to bring them for dinner and drinks because they are huge margarita fiends lol. The wait to be seated was fairly short but our table wasn't cleaned off properly. The margaritas were far too sweet, not what we were anticipating. My in laws didn't have as good of entrees as my husband and I did. Our waitress was sweet but she was very rushed and not attentive at all, she also didn't know much about the menu and what certain things were. Overall this whole experience was not a good one and really changed my perspective of quality being the key factor into where I choose to take my business and money. My two biggest issues with this evening's experience, the first is that we all had margaritas except my mother-in-law and all she asked for was a single tequila club soda with a splash of grenadine. This drink came out to be a $16 drink. Even though the liquor was top shelf, so was my father in law's margarita and there was a $6 dollar difference. She also wasn't pleased with the drink, even before we knew the price. Secondly, when I looked up to see the dessert menu, I saw something on there that I have never found anywhere other than Texas and Mexico. I was eager to know if it was the exact same thing because it's my most favorite thing to order. When I asked the waitress, not only did she not know what it was or what was in it, but most of the staff didn't know either because it was no longer made, so it just turned out to be an extremely huge disappointment. With all things considered, we may come one or two times if the craving for Mexican food kicks in, only because this is the first Mexican restaurant we have found with the food being so closely authentic to real Mexican food. But in the meantime we will be looking for a new Mexican restaurant to take our business to permanently. read more

I'm giving 3 stars because the servers were on top of their service. But the food was mediocre at best. We ordered the nachos supreme which looked pretty meager. We got like 5 chips, with a small drop of sour cream and a ton of lettuce and tomatoes on top. The chicken that we got on the nachos was mushy and not that great tasting. We actually had to use some of the chips from the free chips and salsa basket they give you to eat with our nachos. But there was no cheese, jalapeños, beans.... Nothing that makes nachos so great. Our entrees were fine. I ordered the cheese steak burrito which came with rice and beans. The burrito was super skinny, but really long. It didn't have much filling in it other than the steak and cheese it seemed like. It's so weird to me because I'm from up north and we get super thick burritos that are amazing. They're filled with ago much flavor. This one was just sorta meh. My husband ordered the San Jose burrito with chili verse sauce on it. He wasn't that impressed with his either. I tipped because service was quick and they charged my card even though I left the tip in cash on top of the receipt. Salsa's is best Mexican restaurants in Augusta. This one is the original and my husband's favorite. They have an amazing vegetarian selection as well as are happily willing to make a lot of the entrees vegetarian if you ask. My favorite is the burrito deluxe with beans and no meat. They top it with all of the veggies and a super yummy sauce. I sometimes always want to ask for extra sauce on top but always forget. Their salsa definitely does the trick too! They have two different kinds: spicy and mild. They're both delicious. The margaritas help wash everything down perfectly! (Don't forget to start w/ some cheese dip/queso either!) The service has always been great here and we've been able to hang out and enjoy our meals and each other's company without feeling rushed. This place is definitely one of my go-to lunch spots. read more
