Just wanted to add that the older man who screamed and used profanity in front of my little kids said he was the owner. I'm guessing this older man is a family member of the owner. Pancake Plus was delicious and is a hidden gem in Rockland county. And it was worth the 20-30 minute wait! My mom and I both had eggs and two pancakes! I had the banana walnut pancakes and they were so good! The bananas were cooked inside and the walnuts were inside and on top. My mom was wanted to try both the strawberry and blueberry pancakes and our server was so sweet and allowed her to order that! The pancakes are huge and were very filling. This is a nondescript eatery which hardly advertises, and It is tucked away off the main road. Yet at any given time the place is packed, with people waiting to get in. This is the perfect example of a spot where the locals go to eat. The phrase which comes to mind after dining there is "well oiled machine". Even though there may be a wait, the table turnover is consistent and the busboys are wonderfully efficient, getting the tables ready in less than a minute. With all the hubbub and (I'm sure) stress, the waitresses are friendly and attentive. And then there's the food. The pancakes are large, very tasty, and available with a multitude of fillings. Unless you're capable of eating very large portions I would recommend the short stack (2 pancakes). The other breakfast items are also really good, with a huge variety of omelets available. Pancakes Plus is open 7 days per week for breakfast and lunch days only but you can order anything off the menu between 6am-3pm. There are so many choices including all types of made to order pancakes, omelets, Belgian waffles, wraps, burgers, salads, soup and the list goes on and on. There is also a kid's menu. New items have just been added to their menu, including Eggs Benedict on Saturdays/Sundays only. Drinks offered: tea, coffee, soda, milkshakes. Be warned, that Sundays are extremely busy and you may have to wait upward of a half hour with a family especially since the church is right down the road and many people come to Pancakes Plus for breakfast/lunch right after mass. Picky, I know, but it's important. They did not have enough seating for five people. We eventually dragged another table to be against ours, but it took our own initiative and promises that we would return the furniture to where it was for the staff to allow it.
