    Aloha Hawaiian Breakfast Bowl Breakfast
    Cassidy R.

Incredible! It feels like you've been invited over to a friends house for brunch. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed. The dining room is so cozy. I was expecting basic diner food and was absolutely blown away by my Aloha bowl. The price is so reasonable and the food is so yummy! Best breakfast I've had in ages :) truly a hidden gem

Black Forest Ham and Soft Brie, with side of potato salad, and iced coffee

Nothing fancy, but good quality food in a cozy environment. Got the Black Forest Ham and Soft Brie sandwich; filling without being too much. Potato salad was good too (could choose from that or coleslaw) as was the iced coffee.

Went there for a quick lunch around 1:30p and sat outside. The place is quaint and cozy. I had Greek salad which was big and fresh. Service was great!

A quite cozy and friendly small cafe nestled in the suburbs of NY. Everything on the menu is delicious and the owners and staff are warm and friendly. White table cloths adorn the 30 or seats eatery. Nice place to get breakfast, brunch/lunch. I believe they're open for breakfast and lunch. Family owned business. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food you get. Highly recommended if you're in the area.

Wow! The place is cute and cozy, although I would have to go again when is full to see how I feel because the tables are very small. Nonetheless, is a complete contrast from the outside. The houses around look like they are going to fall any second, and it will even make you hesitate if you are at the right place. But once you go inside is a different environment. The service was attentive and kind. My partner and I made it just before they closed (were the last ones) and everyone was nice and welcoming. They have the cutest, fluffiest dog as part of the staff - enough to say he's employee of the month. He doesn't come inside, greets guests outside sometimes. Of course I want to be a regular now. The food was really good. I am very picky with dry chicken and this was juicy. Not usually a fan of wraps because I feel like sometimes everything gets mushy or you have to search for the perfect bite but this one was flavorful, well seasoned, and had a good portion of everything. It came with a tasty balsamic sauce but honestly you did not even need it. With or without it was a success. My partner was super impressed with the sliders and devoured the whole dish even though he "wasn't hungry". He said the patty was moist, well seasoned, nice choice of bun, a pickle for the perfect amount of acidity. Both dishes had the option of cole slaw and potato salad so we tried one and one. I was not 100% a fan of the potatoes because I am particular about onions, peppers and celery. It's a personal thing so if you don't mind, try it. I would only say I needed some salt but I ate some with the juice of the pesto coming from my wrap and it was good. My partner liked the Cole slaw but I think he was more focused on the sliders to really be descriptive. I liked the prices for the place, quality of food, and proportions. Overall we spent $50 with tip and 2 sodas. We will be back and I am very curious what they would do if they served dinner!

Up in the NY-NJ area for a wedding and stopped at Ramona's based on Yelp recommendations. Atmosphere: - Quaint, quiet and comfortable. Ramona's is an old home transformed into a breakfast/brunch spot that makes you feel like you're sitting in someone's living room (maybe even your own). - The general atmosphere is laid back without a rush. Service: - The service was excellent. Service was with a smile and everyone, including the chef came in and checked on us! Food: - Simple food done right. I love and appreciate places with a small and tasty menu. There's nothing overly complicated; it's home cooking! - We ordered the three egg omelet with unlimited toppings - yes, there's no per extra fee, great concept. We also got the lox and eggs. Both were served with potatoes and toast. - The flavor of both dishes were perfect. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The portion size was larger than expected too!! If you're looking for a laid back, down to earth breakfast spot Ramona's hits the mark!

    Aloha Hawaiian Breakfast Bowl

Great local spot for breakfast/brunch! The restaurant kind of just looks like a house on an unassuming street, which gives it a nice small-town local vibe. The interior is cozy with a homey indoor area and an outdoor patio for seating. As for the food, the Aloha Hawaiian Breakfast Bowl was very good - the pernil (shredded pork) was tasty, the pineapples had a nice grilled flavor, and the poached eggs were nice and runny. The white rice underneath was a bit plain though. This bowl cost me $12, which was a pretty good deal. I also got an apple juice, which tasted store bought, but it was only $2, so that's fine. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the service speed was fast. Overall, I am giving Ramona's Cafe a solid 4 stars for its quality food, great service, and nice homey small-town vibe.

Crispy Belgium Waffles Breakfast and omelette
    Cynthia T.

What a cute little brunch location! We came across Ramona's cafe while we were searching for brunch places near the area, and we're so glad we came here! The 2 of us got the Belgian waffle pancakes and the omelette. Both were so delicious. Esp the omelette with unlimited toppings and a huge portion! Hands down one of the best omelettes I've had. Great ambiance. Service was great and the 2 servers came to our table frequently to refill our coffees. Prices are very reasonable. A gem that's def worth coming back.

This was like being in Paris!

They offered two little slips to each customer - one for a savory crepe and one for a sweet and you can build you own. Great concept but it would be beneficial if the server confirmed the order because we asked for nutella, banana, strawberry, and ice cream and got 2/4. We were in a rush to leave so forgot to check the receipt to see if we were charged for the others; however it was $48 (w/o tip) for 1 panini, 1 crepe and 1 latte so a bit overpriced for the quality of food, in my opinion. The sandwich and crepe were both just okay, nothing to rave about. The drink was aesthetically pleasing with the iced Bear and tasted great. We asked for whipped cream on the latte but our server forgot that too. She also forgot to provide us water until we asked and it came at the end of the meal.  Outside dining was not optimal as it's right next to the railroad tracks and quite loud. There is a kids play area which I thought was a nice addition to the space, but I do wish it was gated off for the younger kids as it's so close to the road! Overall, I found that it was a bit overrated and underwhelming... there are so many restaurants to choose from in the area that I wouldn't opt to come back here.

Most meals came out around 12:30, but one gluten-free order was completely mishandled. One person in our group did not receive their food with the rest of us. We waited over 20 minutes while everyone else ate, and by the time we were finishing, he had only been given a small side of eggs, his main dish (gluten-free French toast) still had not arrived. We asked staff multiple times, politely, and were consistently dismissed. No eye contact, no updates, no urgency. Our server was absent for long periods (10-15 minutes at a time), drinks were empty, and no one took responsibility for fixing the issue. By 1:10 PM, over an hour after being seated, the full order still hadn't come out. At that point, we had no choice but to ask for it to be wrapped to go, since the rest of us had already finished eating. The most concerning part was the manager's response. After calmly explaining the situation, there was no apology, no attempt to correct the experience, and no effort to take accountability. Saying "I'll talk to your server" and leaving it at that is not an acceptable response to a clear service breakdown. This wasn't just a delay, it was a complete lack of coordination, communication, and basic customer service. Mishandling a gluten-free order and then ignoring the table is unacceptable. The food itself was good, but the way this was handled reflects very poorly on the staff and management. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this location based on this experience.
