    French Toast

Great atmosphere, service; French toast w berry compote; fresh coffee; other guests enjoyed the pancakes

Had a breakfast date with my hubby. We walked in and were greeted with friendly hellos. Everything was clean and bright. Our server was helpful and friendly. My hubby ordered the pancake breakfast and loved it. I ordered the ricotta pancakes. They were huge - 3 plate filler pancakes! The ricotta is cooked into the pancake and a layer of lemon curd sauce is spread on the top pancake. It had a bright flavor. I do wish the lemon was on each pancake, but that's just me. I loved how the edges of the pancake were crisp. I could only eat almost half of the serving, so I brought home the remainder (which was enough to share with hubby ) for another meal. My only ding are the prices which are a little high, but honestly what isn't these days? We will definitely be back! Next time I want to try the French toast!

This is now my favorite brunch spot in the city. Surprisingly I've never had a problem with getting a table as soon as i arrive. I also suggest sitting outside if the weather is right. My waitress convinced us to get the craft mimosas which was a great decision lol. The food is large portions and every bite is great!

Hey y'all I am back. Let's get into it. Parking - have to pay for parking. It's located on the side of ponce city and they do not validate. Validate if you come to eat when they open very very early. Service - everyone was sweet to me. Tables were clean and the restaurant! Bathroom is located through the back doors into another small room by ponce if you are looking. The kitchen is open, so you can see your food coming out / them preparing it. Food- I def came for the pancakes because it's called pancake social. . I got the blueberry type. So yummy, fluffy and warm. My food came out relatively fast. I also got the eggs scrambled and the hash brown patties. The eggs nothing special. The hash browns were a little on the salty side but good color and crunch. I also had their fresh orange juice and it was good. Not too sweet. They have other juices I didn't try and was out of one at the time. Timing - I went after my run club so it was around 9/930. I was able to walk in and get a table immediately. When I was leaving the crowds started coming in. I would advise if possible to make a reservation if not early in the morning. They have seating inside , outside , and at the bar. I would definitely come back. I would say they don't have alternative meat options. Red meat , pork, and chicken but no turkey or vegan options in meat fyi. I would have loved a turkey patties or link with this meal.

Such a cute brunch place and food was yum! Had a good breakfast debrief here with my friends. The service was amazing - I felt terrible because I accidentally knocked over my glass of ice and the waitress was so sweet about it. Definitely would come again!

Cute little pancake house Great for breakfast/brunch /lunch. Clean white industrial vibe. Solid menu-great options. The server was accommodating when our daughter came in after we ordered. The food was fresh and hot. I got the pancake plate. -the pancakes were light and fluffy and filled the entire plate, eggs OM were crispy on the edges like gramma used to make - yum!. I did have to wait several minutes for syrup and butter to arrive. And 2 omelets- The portions are generous here. Prepare to eat!

To kick off my girlfriend's birthday, we decided to have breakfast at Pancake Social, located in Ponce City Market. It was my first time there, and the overall experience was pretty solid. Parking was easy, especially for a Friday around 10:30/11 a.m. They offer free parking right in front of the restaurant, and there's also a parking deck nearby, which is super convenient depending on the time of day. It wasn't crowded at all when we arrived, so I'd definitely recommend weekday mornings for the best experience. We were seated immediately, and started things off by splitting a pitcher of Peach Mimosa ($20), which was refreshing and a fun way to celebrate. For food, I ordered: Single Buttermilk Pancake ($4.50) Savory Grits with Cheese ($4) Hot Honey Chicken Bites ($10) Tater Tots ($5.50) The flavors were great across the board--the pancake was light, fluffy, and delicious; the chicken bites had a nice kick; the grits were creamy and flavorful; and the tots were crispy and seasoned well. That said, while the food tasted great, most of it wasn't particularly warm when it arrived--the pancake was the only thing served hot. That was a little disappointing, especially since the restaurant wasn't busy. However, the flavor quality and the pitcher of mimosas helped smooth things over and made the experience enjoyable overall. Ambience-wise, the space is bright and modern, perfect for a relaxed morning vibe or casual celebration. If you're looking for a cute breakfast or brunch spot with great flavors and a laid-back atmosphere, Pancake Social is definitely worth checking out. Just hope your food comes out a little hotter than mine did!

Food: great Service: great Ambiance: clean, nice and hot (I was sweating ) This was my first time here and I'd definitely come back. You have the option of paying per hour in the closet by parking lot or garages on property. We had no wait and my party of 4 was immediately sat down at 12pm on a Saturday. There's a good mix of options whether you are vegetarian or carnivore. And also trying to eat healthier. I had the omelette and requested it to be egg whites only with no meat and the fried potato fritters on the side. I also got the banana + oat pancake stack. I was throughly pleased with both plates. Good portions for the price. I left more than satisfied. The mimosas carafes are cheap for $10 but don't expect to get a buzz. The drinks taste good but you also get what you pay for at that price point. Our server was super nice and attentive. We were a party of 4 and they easily allowed us to pay separately with credit cards with no problem. And BEST OF ALL there's no automatic 20% gratuity charged to your check. You get to control your tip which is rare here in scamming Altanta.

Couldn't have been happier with our choice. Reviews I'd seen online mentioned parking is a bit limited and that the restaurant is frequently busy. So we were prepared for that even though we were going on a Thursday mid morning. I think there was an influx of people celebrating graduations because it was in fact very busy. However we got very lucky with parking and happened to come in right as someone was leaving. I was sure we would have a wait for a table, which of course would have been fine, but actually we were seated immediately! Which was super nice and unexpected. The atmosphere is bustling but not in a bad way. The restaurant itself is adorable and has a lot of character. It feels like you're having breakfast at an old friend's house. The service was great and our food came out in a very reasonable amount of time. I ordered a specialty coffee, I believe it was the almond joy cold brew, and it was delicious. Strong, which is how I like it and not overly sweet. I ordered the chicken biscuit on the waiter's recommendation and it was absolutely the best fried chicken I've ever had. Juicy and crispy. My husband ordered the pimento cheese omelette and was very happy with it, the bacon was thick cut and smoky and flavorful. The pimento cheese grits that came on the side for me were also a stand out, such great flavor. The biscuits are fantastic and the blueberry basil jam that came with my husband's meal was such a nice touch. We will absolutely make a point to come back to Buttermilk Kitchen next time we visit the Atlanta area.

First things first: the Chicken Biscuit. Buttermilk Kitchen's biscuit is on the crunchy, honey-flavored side. I personally prefer fluffier, more buttery biscuits, so this one wasn't my favorite. That aside, the chicken was crispy and well-seasoned and paired well with the cheese grits. If you ever wanted a dry, crunchy version of Homegrown's Comfy Chicken Biscuit, come give this a shot. I also tried the Hash Bowl, which was a bit underwhelming. It was a *lot* of potatoes compared to the eggs and bacon bits, and there wasn't a lot of seasoning other than the bacon. Would rather recommend one of the other options if you end up visiting. The drinks are good as well, would recommend the matcha latte (not too sweet!) and the French Press coffee.

This is not your "grab a quick biscuit and leave" type of breakfast spot. This is Atlanta brunch culture turned into a full experience. 4/5 The ambiance hits first. Emerald green booths, marble tables, warm lighting, good music, and a crowd that looked like Sunday had multiple dress codes. One table looked fresh out of church in full elegance. Another looked like they just finished a Target run and decided they deserved French toast after surviving aisle 14. Somehow it all blended together perfectly. People were smiling, talking loud, taking photos, and genuinely enjoying themselves. The restaurant feels upscale without making you feel uncomfortable. Service was honestly one of the best parts of the experience. Every woman working there was kind, professional, patient, and welcoming. No attitude. No "you bothering me" energy. In Atlanta brunch culture, that alone deserves a standing ovation and a church tambourine. Water stayed filled, food came out smoothly, and the staff carried themselves like they wanted you there. Now the food. The 24 Karat Gold Pancakes are the celebrity of the menu for a reason. The menu describes them as "3 fluffy pancakes dressed with strawberries, blueberries, powdered sugar, honey butter, edible orchid & 24k edible gold" served with bourbon apple cider syrup. 4/5. These pancakes are massive. Not "oh that's a decent portion" massive. These are "why does this pancake look like a car tire?" massive. People around us were sharing them like an appetizer table at a family reunion. Apparently the restaurant originally wanted this stack to feed four people only, but they changed it because Atlanta decided portion control was optional and everybody wanted their own plate. Respectfully, the people won. The pancakes already have sweetness built into them, so you barely need syrup. The texture was soft and fluffy throughout. The only thing missing was those crispy diner-style edges that give pancakes a little bite and contrast. Eggs were a solid 3/5. Nothing offensive, nothing life changing. They existed peacefully on the plate and minded their business. The breakfast potatoes were the weakest part of the meal at 2/5. Small cubes, under-seasoned, and lacking personality. These potatoes felt like they got hired last minute and never trained properly. The Sweet Heat Wings though? Different story. 4/5. The flavor was immaculate. Sweet, sticky, savory, and balanced with enough heat to keep you coming back. The only problem is the wings looked like they came from a chicken that skipped breakfast at Barney's itself. Tiny. Delicious, but tiny. The catfish nuggets were another strong plate. 4/5. Golden fried with a crisp coating that stayed crunchy. Honestly good enough without sauce, which is usually the sign of good fried fish. The sauce added another layer, but the seasoning already carried the dish well. Now let's talk about the Barney's Soul Rolls. 5/5. The menu and reviews describe these like Thanksgiving stuffed into a crispy roll with greens, yams, and mac and cheese. We bit into these and immediately started singing gospel music. I'm talking choir stand energy. These were ridiculous in the best way possible. Crispy outside, rich and savory inside, sweet from the yams, creamy from the mac and cheese. Every bite tasted like somebody's auntie cooked with a soundtrack playing in the background. Easily the best thing we had. Breakfast at Barney's understands the assignment. Big portions, stylish atmosphere, strong brunch energy, and food designed to make people talk. Some items were stronger than others, but the experience as a whole delivered. If you go: * Share the pancakes unless you're entering a competitive eating contest * Order the Soul Rolls immediately * Don't expect the potatoes to save your life * Come hungry * Come prepared for a lively crowd * Bring people who enjoy the experience as much as the food Atlanta has plenty of brunch spots trying to look important. Breakfast at Barney's feels like one that genuinely enjoys being alive.
