My first time in Ensenada, so I had to try out a highly rated breakfast spot. Overall, I enjoyed my meal. The pancakes were a little dry - even with syrup and butter. The taste, however, was amazing. I got scrambled eggs with cheese and it still makes my mouth water thinking about it! The eggs were very cheesy - just how I preferred and they didn't taste burnt (which is something I see often when I ask for scrambled eggs with cheese). The cafe..... Hmmm... Down here in Ensenada, if you don't stop at the pancake house, you certainly want know what you're missing. This is one happy chef right now. From the service to the Foods, Impeccable service, I stomach is still very happy and full and I highly recommend you stopping by this place up here in Ensenada, even the coffee was good. This is a clean breakfast place in the downtown Ensenada area. The food & service were very good. I had the Buttermilk Pancakes, a side of Bacon and some fresh fruit. (Delicioso!!) Here are the only drawbacks: 1) Since the main dining room is a tiled box, the acoustics are as good as an opera house. When families with SCREAMING kids are present, it could affect many. 2) Only one of the wall AC units was working, which made sitting there slightly uncomfortable. We arrived after 10:00, so I would recommend sitting outside where MR. Breeze lives or just coming in EARLY!! 3) There is a gravel parking lot right next door. Very limited. I would definitely return, but on a weekday before 9:00 AM. It was under $30 for all for of us. NICE!! read more

Knowing this is a "pancake place" and that it's frequented by tourists, I did not try it out until 11:30 am on Sunday, which worked out fine because we woke up late. It was packed as we entered but everyone started leaving shortly before noon, so you can't really complain about service when you're visiting during peak hours. We ordered 3 crepes, OJ, and coffee. Everything was excellent. The service was great. I have no complaints. The total for 3 people came to $23 which is pretty decent as well. read more

The breakfasts combos are great--they always refill the coffee promptly. Over all it's a great diner style experience. We got seated right away, the service was exceptional, the food arrived in good time, their organic coffee was delicious! We had the Enchiladas Suizas & Enfrijoladas. The wait staff would run around refilling people's coffee just to make up for the cook staff who took forever to have meals out in a reasonable time frame. A nice place when it is uncrowed, prices are competitive but tasting is average. I requested an ommelette and it is served with some waffles or pancake. The problem is they brought both dishes togheter and you have to take a hard decision which to eat first. The last one would not be warm as it should be for a good tasting. Love it here! My family always comes here for breakfast. Food is fairly good and prices are amazing. There is also valet, so you don't have to worry about parking, especially on a Sunday.
