Food is absolutely delicious and has a unique take on traditional Mexican dishes. Staff is very attentive and friendly. It's a small cute place; you should try it when visiting Tijuana! 10/10

If you are in Tijuana and you are looking for a brunch spot this is it . They have valet parking and are so friendly ! I had two strawberry mimosas and the chilaquiles Verdad and they were a yummy pairing . Such a yummy place !

Waffle breakfast sandwich with orange chicken and a side of potatoes.

Went in an hour before closing and they aloud me and friend to grab a bite. Got the orange chicken breakfast waffle sandwich. It was amazing and came with potatoes. The sandwich looked huge but was just very fluffy, sweet and not too overfilling. The restaurant was pretty small and was surprisingly empty for how great the food was as well as the attentive staff. Will definitely recommend for a breakfast brunch spot 6 out of 5 stars.

It doesn't look like much when you walk past, however once you go in and try there amazing food you will be deliciously delighted with the food and service. Picture credits to Angelina Gaitan

This is a good choice if you are in the neighborhood complicated if you have a car but there is a large parking a few blocks away... entrance is not that friendly but if you ask you can reach it. Staff is friendly but not chatty unless you ask and can use a course on dealing with chatty customers lile me, coffee is good but in that small cup is complicated. Food was good although it will not be a place i will be searching for or driving around to get to it... amyways try it out

Very cute place! Food was ok the thing with me is if the service isn't good it just messes my hole experience :( I brought people from out of town to try this place, it was a first time for everyone so we were very excited!!!. It's a very small place and because it's somewhat "popular" well their was a waiting list but off the bat as soon as we got there the hostess was not that friendly (nice way to put it) and I get it they had a packed morning but dang this went on during my stay, she was unbothered lol not really making us feel like welcomed LOL food was ok like I said but it just took to long to get our food :( in the end to get out check the waiting also took sooo long :( man I really did have high hopes and expectations for this place because the food looked so pretty but I guess they still have to work on it...

The Zona Rio location has a small dining area, that is very popular with both the locals and visitors. It is easy to see why. Their menu does not over dose on the standard morning and afternoon items that you would find anyplace. However, this is the first restaurant I've been to in Tijuana, that does not have an English menu.... so I had to labor through the Spanish menu. But, they do have unique dishes, thus making the visit adventurous, because it is difficult to choose. I went back and forth, and finally settled for their 3-egg omelet with asparagus and sheep cheese. It came with refried beans, strings of carrots and beets, small fired up tostadas and fresh tortillas (both blue and yellow corn). A small side of soggy chilaquiles was also served. A small flavorful salsa tray is also provided with 3 options, ranging from mild to hot. The asparagus spears were thin, cut up into small pieces and sautéed with mild spices. The outer egg covering soft and not overdone. If anything, there was too much sheep cheese, in certain portions of the omelet. I say this because it was an asparagus omelet, and it, instead of the cheese, should have been the star. Still, it did not take away from the other commendable aspects of the complete entree and its accompaniments. Before the meal, a small refreshing fruit plate is served. Coffee and overall service here, was mucho excellente.

They have their own designated parking, which is nice, as sometimes parking may be an issue in town. The parking attendant welcomes you and lets you know where to park. You are immediately greeted when you walk in. I typically visit for a late lunch. The restaurant has a cozy feel. The staff are attentive and friendly. The presentation of the food is nice and it tastes good. Some of the dishes that I have tried are: Tarahumara (portobello omelet), Xitomatl (entomatadas), Huichol (chilaquiles con cecina), Mulli (mole Oaxaqueño), Teotihuacán (chilaquiles con chorizo y huevo), and Coyoltzin (puntas de filete). My favorite has been the Coyoltzin because the meat is tender and juicy. I also love that they bring salsas to the table. I like the chiles with oil and vinegar that they make. Overall, a great place to have breakfast or lunch with friends and family.

Found this place, thanks to Yelp…read more We crossed over to droop off my parents and wanted a place that served food but that we could sit down and talk. We had a 15 minute wait before we were sat at our table. As soon as we sat down, we had coffee cups ready and regular coffee or Cafe de olla ready to be served. Our Server was amazing. He made sure we were comfortable, and asked if we had any questions on the menu. We ordered the queso fundido to start, chilaquiles and tamales everything was great! I can't wait to go back and try the lunch/dinner menu. The place was very busy but the place was filled with good vibes and great energy.

I had someone call from our hotel and we got right in and there was a line outside. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is all great. Their breakfast goes from American eggs and bacon with the best potatoes to wonderful burrito type breakfast items. Their menudo is great and they have great Mexican meats as well. Lunch and dinner is about the same. They make Mexican style fish and steak that is just perfect every time. All of their Mexican dishes are just wonderful. You can't go wrong. They even have bottled water--never drink the water there, just don't. They have the best rice and beans. The service is great. They make you feel right at home and even if you don't speak Spanish, most speak English and you will figure it out because they will help you. The prices are fair for what you get. At dinner I consider it fine dining. It is all good and you will be happy. The place is also clean and super comfortable.

Bad: * Very, very hard to find a table. * The food prices are very expensive for the quality of mediocre food and drinks. * We only ordered six pieces of oysters and two shrimp tostadas. It took over 30 minutes to get our food. It took too long. * The Customer service while ordering food was so bad it seemed like they didn't even care about our order. * I feel bad for the waiters and waitresses delivering food because they were running around looking for the numbers on the table. I know that it can be very frustrating and chaotic. * Not a good place for large parties due to the very limited seating. * Not very children friendly, more for an adult environment. * But the worst of it was the parking, it was very bad and hard to find, you might have to park more than two blocks away to find any parking. Conclusions: we were very disappointed and not a good experience. Most likely we will not be coming back.
