Went in an hour before closing and they aloud me and friend to grab a bite. Got the orange chicken breakfast waffle sandwich. It was amazing and came with potatoes. The sandwich looked huge but was just very fluffy, sweet and not too overfilling. The restaurant was pretty small and was surprisingly empty for how great the food was as well as the attentive staff. Came here for brunch on a Saturday during Memorial Day weekend and had a great time. The restaurant is small with about 10 tables, but there was no wait. My wife and I speak very limited Spanish and it was not an issue for us. We were given cafe de olla while we waited on our brunch meals which was some of the best I've had. They also have cold brew and regular coffees available. My wife got the hash brown waffles which were just as described. Unique and delicious the waffles had the satisfying crunch of hash browns and a starch base that made the meal filling. It's topped with bacon slices and eggs to order. I got the maple chilaquiles which we're also topped with an egg to order and was also great. Parking was easy, just park on the street behind the adjacent hospital and walk the block over. There's also other coffee shops and restaurants lined along the Main Street where the restaurant is located. We will definitely come back. read more

This is a good choice if you are in the neighborhood complicated if you have a car but there is a large parking a few blocks away... entrance is not that friendly but if you ask you can reach it. Staff is friendly but not chatty unless you ask and can use a course on dealing with chatty customers lile me, coffee is good but in that small cup is complicated. Food was ok the thing with me is if the service isn't good it just messes my hole experience :( I brought people from out of town to try this place, it was a first time for everyone so we were very excited!!!. It's a very small place and because it's somewhat "popular" well their was a waiting list but off the bat as soon as we got there the hostess was not that friendly (nice way to put it) and I get it they had a packed morning but dang this went on during my stay, she was unbothered lol not really making us feel like welcomed LOL food was ok like I said but it just took to long to get our food :( in the end to get out check the waiting also took sooo long :( man I really did have high hopes and expectations for this place because the food looked so pretty but I guess they still have to work on it... read more

So I decided to give this place a try due to the fact that it seemed like a cool place to brunch on a Sunday, well let's just say I was in for a surprise. To start there is no host, so you are practically shouting for a server to put your name on the list. Once they put my name on the list they said there will be an hour wait. There was 4 tables free but the servers didn't feel like cleaning them. It took them at least 20 min to clean them. The restaurant is extremely small!!! So you can see if there is a table available. I waited the hour, but then the server said " oh I don't know really, 15-20 min". With an arrogant tone. I won't ever come here again. This is far from Alma Verde, Mantequilla, Sabor a Mi. I hope the owner takes action soon. It has potential just poorly managed. read more

So we decided to see what all there hype was about. And what can I say other than words do not do the food any justice at Sal de maple. There unique takes on some traditional breakfast items is totally refreshing to the taste buds. The sunny side up eggs were perfectly cooked with the yolk being let loose with the slightest touch of the fork.
