This spot was a staple for our family, where we created many memories. At minimum, we're here once to four times a year when in San Antonio. We ordered all of our regular dishes: 1. Chilaquiles rojo 2. Pancake combo 3. Veggie omelet 4. Green juice 5. Coffee Every single item, with the exception of the drinks, was made completely different than what we have been accustomed to. They were known for their fluffy pancakes, which were absolutely delicious. I opted for the pancakes since they they did not have hash browns available, and I know pancakes were much easier to make. Well, they were dark, thick/flat, and slightly undercooked. Possibly made first, so were slightly on the cooler side where the butter could not melt. The chilaquiles were soggy, not flavorful. Both the green and red Chile's lacked flavor as well. After looking around, I asked if the ownership had changed and indeed it had, which explains the new style of cooking. We shared our feedback with our meals, and to our surprise, the manager came out to ask for details to provide to the chef. I was super impressed with that. We were charged for 2 meals since we could not eat the pancakes, another pleasant surprise. Adding new photos of the dishes... you will see the difference. read more

Well, the people are very nice. The waiters and bartender couldn't be friendlier and helpful. However, when the food came out, it just wasn't good. I don't like saying bad things about people with small businesses because I understand how hard it is to make it go of it. But they really need to make some changes. read more

Before coming here, I read reviews that it is always packed, and the service is slow. However, I experience non of those things! Our waitress Mariana was very nice and accommodating. She was prompt and was always easy to find. They have a good mix of "American" styled breakfast, as well as some more Hispanic favorites. They do seem to cater a bit more to the tourist crowd though. Also, they do speak english! The location of the restaurant and the restaurant itself were a bit left to be desired. A bit messy around and restaurant itself was very kitschy with its mismatched chairs and decor. This didnt really dissuade us from coming here. The food was good, the drinks were strong and we had a fantastic time. If you come, you HAVE to try the Apple cheesecake... it was possibly the most memorable dessert I have ever had! I would definitely come back for breakfast/brunch the next time I'm in Rosarito. read more

This restaurant serves just about everything, and has a full bar. We tried several of their sandwiches, all of which were really good. Sitting in the upper deck area will give you a nice ocean breeze and view of the Rosarito area coastline. Breakfast, like lunch and dinner, has both American and Mexican options. My daughter had a tuna melt with avocado and bacon, and forever changed her opinion of tuna melts. She likes them now. We enjoyed the food so much we ate there six times over the course of eight days in San Antonio Del Mar. The restaurant sits just outside the security gate to the gated community of san antonio del mar, a community of around 800 homes, a mix of expats and vacation rentals. You don't need to go through the gate to eat at the restaurant. Lunches are about $4. Beers are $2. Bottled water $2.50. Mixed drinks $2. We averaged about $40 for each bill feeding five people with drinks included. This is no destination restaurant, but a very safe option if you are in the area and looking for some familiar foods that are done well. read more

Food is incredible! I ate here with a big group and couldn't have had a better time. View from the upstairs patio is amazing. Hard to find a better place in Rosario than Cafe Conrado for great food and view. Plenty of space to park just out front at the nearby park. Owner came to our table to make sure everything was okay, super friendly staff with great service. Guacamole is a must order and apple pie cheesecake for dessert! Use extreme caution: this place is beyond bad. The food is gross, the place is dirty, the prices on the menu is not the actual prices . After we ate they try to increase the prices . We went and we ordered, they brought half the food and forgot the rest of our order. Once we where done eating they brought some of the missing food. Once we asked about the prices the waiter got upset and said that's how it is here. They have 1 price in the Spanish menu and a different in the English menu for the same items . He even went as far as to say that we are lucky he did not charge us the hot house he brought for one of our burritos. They then tried to increase the price of a can of soda to 6.00 usd . What is this , Disneyland... save your money . Even McDonald's drive through is better than this trash. read more

Went last weekend with a group of friends the food was ok the views were really pretty. The service was decent they brought our food in a timely manner. Once we received we did try and it wasn't best we had chilaquiles and the beans were cold so we mentioned something and they took the small bowl of beans to only have them microwave it. We can tell cause they garnished it with pico de Gallo and when they brought it back it was all soggy since they heated it up but it was bland. I wouldn't go out of my way to go eat again. read more

Came here for breakfast with my boyfriend when we stayed nearby for the weekend. It ended up being one of our favorite meals of the trip! We sat next to the window near the patio, got juices, coffee, breakfast quesadillas and then ended up boozing a bit (the piña colada here blew my dang mind.) The waitstaff was friendly, the food and drinks were delicious and the vibe was chill and unpretentious (the opposite experience we had at Mi Casa Supperclub next door later the same day). The staff was friendly and welcoming from the first moment we stepped into the doorway. We chose to sit upstairs on the outdoor terrace with a view of the ocean. We were hoping for a cool breeze but it was a bit hot. Our server Alexis was perfect! He is such a wonderful, well-mannered young man who truly understands customer needs. The food and drinks were very good and everyone in our party of four enjoyed what we ordered (chilaquiles verdes (2), huevos rancheros, and enfrijoladas). We also had cherry pie which was good, not too sweet and carrot cake which was a smidge dry but would have been perfect with ice cream or slightly warmed. Great eats! My only thing was we were a big party of 8, we came in around brunch and they weren't too busy. Our host slowly trickled in drinks, the food...we had to ask multiple times for drinks that were ordered and never brought out. We had to ask for napkins plus silverware several times once food was brought out. They do have great food and beautiful views. Just the service is below par. read more

Café Conrado failed to live up to our expectations. We were a group of 4 people and decided to give this little place a try for Sunday brunch. Let me start off by saying the place has a nice view, which was pretty much the only reason I'd rate this 2/5 stars. The restaurant was severely lacking staff and you can definitely tell. One waitress for 8-10 tables is ridiculous. That being said, it took an hour to get our food. After the wait, we were served a cold plate of chilaquiles with a wrong side of potatoes. Another plate of pancakes with no extra toppings as ordered. When we told her about the order, the waitress simply said "oh yeah, we ran out of those items". Also, no utensils to eat the food; had to wait another 5 minutes to get. Supposedly they were going to give us some complimentary pastries because of the wait time; never arrived. The check took another 10 minutes to get, only to find out we were charged for the non-existent extra toppings. Another 10 minutes to get that fixed. At this point we just wanted to leave so we decided to pay downstairs. TL;DR: Huge wait time for a small group, messed up several orders, understaffed restaurant with a decent view to the ocean. read more

Absolutely delicious food! You also get the best ocean view from the patio. As an appetizer we had guacamole and fruit. For the entre I had tacos and enchiladas and both we amazing.
