I haven't been to Tijuana in about 5 years so we didn't know where to go for breakfast. Thanks to Yelp, we were able to find this place. It was great! I have to say that it was very clean and sanitized. Everyone was friendly. For drinks, I had the matcha latte with almond milk and he had cafe de olla which he didn't even have to add any creamer. Was in Tijuana the other day looking for breakfast on a Saturday morning. I came by this spot while passing by it. I decided to park and give it a try. They have a nice selection of breakfasts and desserts. I also tried their jugo verde and carajillo, they were super delicious. I ordered the slam fit omelette and let me tell you I will get it again. Sadly I make this comment because Cafe La Flor was one of our favorite place to eat breakfast as a Family but today we had a bad and disappointing experienced again. I came with my family of four, my wife and two kids (7 and 5), we ordered our drinks and food and our first plate came 25 minutes after we ordered, I spoke to our waiter and asked him why our food was taking so long and he said that management made some changes on the kitchen, after 10 more minutes and still waiting for the rest of our food (3 more plates) I spoke with the manager and he mentioned the same excuse of changes in the kitchen, so he brought out my son's plate couple of minutes later and 5 minutes later they brought out my wife's and my food, a total of over 45 minutes to bring out our complete order. To make our experience even worse, part of my food (chorizo) was not cook completely and my wife's food was wrong, the kitchen add chorizo to my wife's food which she does not asked for. We made all these comments to the manager and he apologized but did not offer to make our order right, it was a bad morning of waiting for bad food and service. The manager did not even asked us to make our order right so he left our food and we paid for something that we did not enjoy or an order that was incorrect. Tomaron más de 25 minutos en traer nuestro mi primer plato de comida a nuestro hijo que estaba desesperado, hablae con el mesero para pedir el resto de nuestra orden y nos comentó que había cambios en la cocina y por eso había tanta espera. Después de esperar 10 minutos más, no aguante y hable con el gerente y su excusa fue la misma de los cambios de cocina, 5 minutos después trajeron la comida de nuestro otro hijo (les faltó la guarnición de fruta de su orden) y 5 minutos después la comida de mi esposa y mía. Después de tan larga espera, parte de mi comida (chorizo) no está cocinada completamente y la orden de mi esposa estaba incorrecta, hable nuevamente con el gerente y le mencione lo de mi comida y la orden incorrecta de mi esposa y el se disculpó pero no ofreció hacer el cambio de plato, así que dejamos nuestra comida y pagamos nuestra cuenta. Tristemente NO recomiendo este lugar, espero y hagan los cambios necesarios pronto porque no es justo pagar por una comida que ni si quieras pudimos comernos ni disfrutar, gracias. My favorite drink is the raspberry latte. Absolutely divine! It can get rather crowded on weekends so I recommend arriving a bit early, and parking in Chapultepec can be tedious. Great place for coffee, dessert and everything else on the menu from chilaquiles to salads that we ordered was delicious. To start, the valet parking right in front of the restaurant is very convenient for an area that can be difficult to park. The service was great. I had one of the most beautiful cappuccinos served as you can see from the photo. They have an extensive menu of mexican dishes and I think that they also serve breakfast all day because in addition to the lunch menu we got the breakfast menu. At the end of our meal, we had to make a difficult decision between the many cakes (over 10) and we ended up picking a slice of the tres leches. The whole cakes are AMAZING and they have a great variety-you will not be disappointed on these. The food is very delicious and all pastries are the best, but I recently had bad experiences with the waiters. I have been coming to this restaurant for past 5 years. Either the waiter forgets the orders, asking tip money upfront, wrong orders, and or never check on the tables. But this particular time, I waited almost for 30 minutes for my meal and he didn't check on our table of two, until I ask about my meal and I need for more (drinks, napkins, chips). He didn't offer any other options for his mistake or rain check. Still ask for his tip money up front and he stated "we all share the money and I need that money to pay others." The restaurant wasn't busy on a Monday night and I would understand if it was super pack but this wasn't the situation. I felt that waiter had a bad day and pressure by management.
