Serving up some delicious ceremonial matcha and coffee drinks (haven't had the coffee yet). So far I've had their Matcha Banana (Banana 53), Double Matcha (Matcha X2), Pistachio 54 (with Matcha). I get it 50% sweet (lifted) for all of my drinks. Just the right amount of sweetness for me. The drink is dark in matcha with a richness in earthiness. The Banana 53 had a luxurious banana foam with toffee bits. Nice balance of earthy, creamy, touch of sweetness, and different textures in the drink. For the double matcha the matcha foam is super fluffy and creamy. Matcha on matcha was what I needed to fuel my soul. The pistachio was a dream. Rich, nutty, velvety, and creamy. I keep saying I will try their coffee next time but I am a sucker for matcha that's for sure.

The shop has such a nice little vibe inside, and the baristas were friendly and welcoming. Their latte flavors are definitely bold and interesting, with combinations you don't see at your typical coffee shop. My friend and I each tried one of their specialty lattes and really enjoyed them. It was the perfect stop before a day of exploring San Diego. If I'd had more time in the city, I could definitely see myself coming back, grabbing a latte, and hanging out here for a while.

The foam did add a nice saltiness to the drink though. My partner liked his chocolate strawberry drink. He subbed soy milk for $.75 extra. It did have a nice strawberry flavor but I felt like the chocolate and strawberry completely overpowered the coffee taste.
