GREAT, SALTY POPCORN! I'm not a massive popcorn fan except when it comes to movie theater popcorn. However, Cafe 41's popcorn is tempting me to eat it more often, each peace was big and delicious. My mom ordered some and she told me to try it! I'm so glad that I did because I had more than just a handful. Cafe 41 has other snacks like ice cream, soda, etc. it's a good little spot to hit up if you need a break while touring the Midway. As for concerns, the muffins looked a little dry and I still think they need more options overall. The Cafe was super calm and the line moved fairly smoothly. We went when the main dining room was closed, yet they still had the little storefront open.

Meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy and seasoned vegetables

I was genuinely surprised by how incredible the food was. Being a big fan of meatloaf, I ordered it, and it came with a side of seasoned vegetables--carrots for the day--and a choice between mac & cheese or mashed potatoes with gravy. The mac & cheese had a white cheddar sauce, but I opted for the mashed potatoes and gravy. Every bite was outstanding, reminiscent of homemade comfort food. While the meal was on the pricier side at $18.31 (excluding a drink), the experience was well worth it. All the employees were super friendly, and there was no wait to check out. Plus, you can enjoy your meal on the deck with a stunning view.

You ring the doorbell, wait patiently, and once you're inside, you realize this isn't your typical coffee shop. It's a place to slow down, enjoy the music, and savor your drink. Monique and Danica were both amazing. They're warm, welcoming, and you can really see the passion behind what they do. Danica is also the DJ, and her eclectic playlist made the whole experience even better. One of my favorite parts was just sitting there watching our drinks being made. You can see the care and craft that goes into every cup...even the Kuramoto ice is beautiful. The Matcha Americano completely changed my perception of matcha. The Kyoto cold brew pour-over was fascinating to watch and incredibly smooth. We loved it so much that we came back the very next day. This time I had the Midori, and my brother-in-law loved the Highball, especially the yuzu. No laptops. Trust the DJ. Drinks are meant to be enjoyed fresh, so take your time. If you're looking for a quick coffee run, this isn't it. But if you appreciate great coffee, good music, and people who are passionate about their craft, Long Play Hi-Fi is absolutely worth the visit.

(Dw, from the inside, you can see outside well) Drinks were really good and carefully made, song selections were unique! We ended up chatting with one of the customers there too. Chill atmosphere 10/10 recommend. There's also free wifi here, signal isn't very good. :) Parked in free street parking about a min walk away.

I especially like their Yuzu Tonic Matcha which is refreshing. Their einspanner is quite good too and I'm not typically a fan of cream tops, but they do it well. They served Nami matcha, but now are serving their own matcha. They have a variety of matchas for sale - honorable mention for Rockys Matcha (served at Community Goods) for sale there which is convenient as I only know of one other store that sells it here They also have a good space to co-work. I haven't been at night, but they also serve wine which is really cool!

I am in the closet about my age and still think I am like a kpop kid lmfao. Who am I kidding here?? Its a great space, but would agree they could probably cram in a few more tables. There's also another back area, and more tables back there. Guy helping me was very patient and helpful. He was also handsome too, always nice to have eye candy, even if I could have been his ajima!! I ordered a hojicha cloud as I love a good hojicha and I prefer it over matcha. I don't like sweet drinks so I asked him how sweet and he responded that the drink has 15g maple syrup in it. I froze like a deer in headlights because I didn't know what that meant but was impressed with how precise he was. I told him to just make it half that. I waited a few minutes and then my iced hojicha cloud came out. The foam on top was delicious and the hojicha was well made. I guess I could do with 7.5g of maple syrup! I sat outside as they put a bunch of chairs out and enjoyed the people watching but also some of the Miramar Air Show going on too. They came real close and did some neat tricks! Parking is a bit of a problem in this shared lot but overall, this was a good experience and I would return. Nice coffee bar with good drinks and good vibes!

I wanted to find a new place where I could enjoy the vibe, read my book, and not feel overwhelmed by a huge crowd. I was really happy we found this place! The owner was super welcoming, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. My husband and I each tried one of their desserts, and we even took a cake home. Everything was really good! We both got regular iced coffees, and they were really good too. They were also really nice about making our drinks the way we liked them. We really enjoyed being able to sit, drink our coffee, read our books, and just enjoy the atmosphere for a while. The only downside was that there are only two single-person bathrooms, so you may have to wait a little if it gets busy. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and would definitely come back again, especially when it's a little less busy!
