Very few choices. Bought a ham and cheese croissant. American cheese slice was hard and dried . Very limp half piece of lettuce. Ham was so grizzled I couldn't bite through it. For a brand new hospital, pretty sad. They have racks and racks of chips and candy...

I plan to come here as many times as I can as I have never seen a brewery this beautiful and to be truthfully, I wanna live here lol. This place is just gorgeous, when you walk in, the main room just opens up into this beautiful spacious BIG room with so much natural light that it floors you on just how beautiful this place is! There is also an outdoor area and oh my! It was like a botanical garden here and they also have a fountain where they have fish swimming in it. A worker here was about to feed the fish when we showed up and asked some kids dining outside with their parents if they wanted to help feed the fish. How awesome! We were a party of 10 and got sat at an outside table. It was just a lovely afternoon to experience this venue. I ordered a habanero margarita and asked that the tequila be substituted with mezcal and that was doable. This drink was OK and next time, I might just get a beer. I had the poke nachos again and wow they were so good. I could eat this every day lol. A few other friends also ordered this dish too. Its popular and I can see why. We had a lovely time here and I am so glad I got to experience this place before it closes. NOOOOOO! I certainly hope it is just temporary and they continue to do something fun with this place. Truly a gem in Escondido! I loved it!

But the beer flight was enough for me. The FOOD was also very tasty!! We weren't that hungry coz we just came back from Safari Park. We already had food at the elephant valley restaurant there so we were only planning to get some drinks and snacks. We got the buffalo wings and their bolognese pasta. It was SO good that we will come back soon even though we live like an hour away. Sad news is that they're closing in November :( So go get your food and drinks before they close down. It was such a great place to relaxed before we hit traffic after the Safari Park! And they're super dog friendly too! Bonus point for sure! Even though we didn't have our dogs with us.

How have I not known about the Money Pit until now!!! The place used to be a bank and the…read morerestaurant owners kept the original vault from the bank in the restaurant which you can see when you walk in. One of my new favorite casual breakfast and burger joints. What makes it 5 stars? - awesome food and generous portions. The food was fresh and tasty. I loved my burger and chili cheese fries. Unlimited drinks. The perfect meal. - very reasonable prices for the quality and food portions (better than any fast food including In N Out especially since they keep raising their prices) - they serve breakfast, burgers, other sandwiches, salads, and several sides. Something for everyone to enjoy. - plenty of parking in the lot and lots of seating inside. The vibe is casual diner food. - service was friendly and professional. They were busy but we got our food within 10 mins. I will definitely be stopping by for more!

Unfortunately, I made the mistake of ordering a salad. I got the Greek Tavern Salad, which doesn't come with meat, so you have to pay extra to add chicken. The chicken was very dry and flavorless and in a big chunk on top of the salad. The tomatoes and green peppers were also in really big pieces, so I really wish I'd been given a better knife to cut everything up. I also wish the salad had a better Mediterranean-style dressing and more feta. I ended up leaving most of it behind. The other thing that really bothered me was that they started deep cleaning the restaurant around 9pm, even though they're open until 10pm. They were fully mopping and stacking chairs around us, which made us feel like we were being rushed out. I actually asked when they closed, and they said 10pm--it was barely 9pm at that point! Who wants to smell cleaning chemicals and have furniture being stacked around them while they're still eating? The decor is cute and the restaurant has a lot of character, but unfortunately the food and the way the evening ended probably means I won't be back.

Although we now live some 2 hours away we relished visiting again with high expectations and wonderful memories. While the ambiance, the spectacular views and the service were all great (and the convenient free parking) as always - the food was a really big disappointment and for that reason I doubt that we will ever return. While had not planned to have anything as "big" as the "Crispy Ale Battered Fish & Chips" I couldn't resist. The server assured me that it was really English and yes they had malt vinegar (before I even asked) indeed as it was served the lady on the next table was saying how great it looked and what was it. But - it was not real English style fish and chips, it was NOT crispy, it was 4 small pieces of unnamed generic "fish" (one over done on the outside) but all of it was nasty and soggy and the fish was covered in a layer of undercooked nasty batter. I picked out as much of the tasteless fish as I could and basically only ate the coleslaw that was tasty. Had I not been tempted by the fish then I would likely have chosen the lobster bisque as did Mrs G. Sadly she found that completely tasteless and found it very low in any lobster content and hence the lack of flavor. All in all - great surroundings as always enjoyed but the food was so poor this was our last visit. What a pity. Another little gripe of mine - I dislike places that add 5% to the cost of your meal due to "rising costs" - please folks - just be honest raise the prices on the menu - be honest.

"I hate to do it, just as bad as you hate to see it done, now calm your boys" As a a non-seafoodie, I entered with trepidation...as soon as I stepped in, the stench of seafood hit me in the face, oh no...I had a strong inkling of what was to come. Disclaimer: Had I not been part of a large gathering that was coming here, I doubt I ever would have come to this buffet. Pros: They had the World Cup playing on a "2017 New" 36ish inch TV with the tags still on it The food was mostly hot The cream cheese wontons were delicious, creamy, and crispy Cons: I tried like 11 items, and only the cream cheese wontons were hittin'. Out of the 11 items I tried, only 3-4 items were passable as decent The food was salty The black pepper chicken tasted like fish The food ended up giving my bubble guts the bubble guts-SHEESH! While there were loads of offerings, which I appreciate, the organization of said offerings were a bit strange. The hibachi was set-up going left to right, while the food stations on either side of it were going right to left, creating this crazy clash of people heading in opposite directions. It just wasn't for me.
