Love this location, just such a surprising spot for a nice restaurant. Have come for Happy Hour on the patio in the past, what a beautiful backdrop. This last time my husband and I split a chef's meal for two with a whole Branzino two ways, a side salad with yellow squash and risotto. Although the fish tasted good, there were so many bones you could hardly take a bite. The squash salad was weird, several people at my table tried it and didn't like it. The risotto was fabulous. The portions are great and the prices are on par with other locations. Will definitely be back, one disappointing meal doesn't account for a whole experience. Everyone else loved their meals.

Vintana Wine + Dine is known as the "modern elegance" in North County. I've always been curious about this dining destination and was excited to find out it was on the San Diego Restaurant Week list. I was ready to wine-n-dine! My GPS took me to a Lexus dealership but I saw the signage for the restaurant which reassured me I was at the correct location. The drive into the dealership was a little odd, but the good signage directed me to the parking in front of the restaurant. Suprisingly, it's located on the upper level of the stylish building. The first impression really matters to me so when the hostess at the reception area warmly welcomed me, I felt right at home. I didn't have to wait too long to be escorted to my table. As I walked through the restaurant, I was impressed by the beautiful decor and the romantic atmosphere. During my dinner, the servers were attentive and knowledgeable. Kevin, my waiter, had some good suggestions for the SDRW menu. The service from all of them was consistent like a well-oiled machine. My entree was exquisitely delicious...love anything braised and really loved the crunchiness of the vegetables but when it came to the dessert I was hoping it would be on the warm side. I spoke to the Manager and he confirmed the temp. Okay...I'll try a cold apple pie for the first time. All in all, this was an unforgettable experience.

Wonderful experience from start to finish! We were welcomed by live music, a talented woman singing and playing piano, which set such a beautiful tone while we waited for our table. The ambiance is incredibly romantic, with dim lighting that creates the perfect mood for a date night or special celebration. We were seated on the patio next to a fireplace and stayed warm and cozy all evening. There was also a private party happening in a separate section with a DJ, which made it a bit louder at times, but honestly, I enjoyed the lively atmosphere and music. A huge shoutout to our server, Alberto, he was incredible. Friendly, attentive, and full of great recommendations. His service alone would make me want to come back again. For food, we ordered the sesame-crusted baked brie, kung pao calamari, half roasted chicken, seafood paella, and a side of red velvet cake--everything was delicious. The mocktail "Prickly Without the Pear" was a great as well, perfectly balanced, sweet, and tart. The location itself is unique (on top of a Lexus dealership!) with stunning decor that adds to the whole experience. This is definitely a spot I'd recommend for a special night out. Expect to spend around $50-$100 per person, but it's absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!

This is a really cool restaurant! It's situated on top of a lexus dealership! So you can come here expecting some awesome views because you're essentially on the 3rd floor of the complex. The restaurant is huge. Lots of tables and very spacious. The waitstaff were incredibly cool and polite. The ambiance wasn't loud but also not library-quiet. This is a perfect place for a date or a group dinner. Their house bread is really unique. It's basically a big hollow bread puff that's seasoned. Their steak is cooked perfectly well. It's tender, juicy, and full of flavor. We also got their sea bass which was amazing. I'd get this one again too. The fish was really tender and essentially fell apart. Super tasty and savory. Their fries are also super crispy on the outside as if they're double fried and warm/gooey on the inside. Their house blonde ale was refreshing. I'll be double fisting those next time. They also gave us dessert on the house for celebrating our anniversary. It was an awesome time and I'm totally coming back.

Easy rooftop parking. I liked the vibe here. People dress up and larger parties are easily accommodated. We saw many tables of 6 or 8. We enjoyed an anniversary dinner here and they made it feel special with a card and dessert. The house popovers that they bring out by default with jalapeño butter are magical. Seafood paella was a winner. Short rib was ok, but flavor was boring. Service was exceptional and decor is fun. Chairs and booths are all comfortable. We didn't feel rushed here. We enjoyed the farmers salad and lobster bisque as starters. We overate though. Next time we would split two apps + paella. Desserts were all beautiful too. Skip the signature cocktails and just order your favorite standard. Their bartender can handle it well! I ordered the pandan swizzle, which was way too sweet for me, so they kindly switched it out for something else. Definitely will be back.

What a delicious meal! I think my favorite part was the lobster Mac and cheese - shredded lobster and very cheese Mac n cheese! In addition, the bread is so unique and yummy! For dessert, our server surprised us with a yummy red velvet cake. Throughout the meal, our server would come and ask us how we are doing and was amazing with answering our questions. We love how knowledgeable she was about everything, and how she felt passionate about her job and making sure we had a great experience. Lastly, the ambiance - sooo pretty and beautiful views at night of the city lights. I can only imagine what it looks like during the day! Love vintana - thank you for the wonderful experience!

Overall... fantastic. Let's start from the beginning. It was a friends birthday celebration. Six of us met at the bar for a drink prior to our 7pm reservations. Drinks were good, but boy howdy are they spendy. Our host checked us in for dinner at 7 and we were sat at 7:22. What's the point of a reservation if they make you wait. Was not a good first impression. While waiting we stood near what seemed to be an entrance to the kitchen. As you can see from the photo, there was a trolley with many desserts just sitting out. No idea why or what for, but it looked unsightly and made me question their sanitary food handling standards. Once seated things went smoothly. Our server was perfection. Really. She made all types of accommodations for us and made the evening go smoothly. The rest of the service team was also superb. All food arrived together and even though some of us were on the pre fixe restaurant week, three course menu and others chose from the regular menu (courses we're all messed up) it worked fine and that level of detail was appreciated. Tuna 9 out of ten Lobster bisque 10 out of 10 Chicken breast 8 out of 10 (one serving was dry) - the flavores were huge and fantastic Short ribs 9 out of 10 Ribeye 7 out if 10. Ordered MR came high end of medium but it tasted good. Pumpkin hummus 8 out of 10 Tomato bisque 10 out of 10 The desserts were hit and miss. Truffle was amazing. Choco brownie was stellar. The apple pie tasted store bought. Not bad, just meh. As the night closed we got the bill and it was no problem to split it. About $600 plus tip. They added a 5% charge, which when we asked, they took off. As you know, I am 100% against these charges. Make your prices reflect the cost of doing business. I don't go to any place that has these charges. Since they removed them we shall be back. Nice. Good food. Super service. And the free popovers are a huge plus.

When I heard that my work dinner was going to be held at Vintana, I was so excited; this restaurant has been on my list for a while now! First, location. Vintana is located on the third floor of a Lexus dealership, which is definitely an interesting and out-of-place feature. On the bright side, the venue is very large and easy to find. The parking lot is on the side of the building--just follow the signs leading up the structure. Now the restaurant itself is really beautiful. The ambiance is lively, gorgeous, and refined. It is truly a great spot for the vibes alone. You practically forget you're at a dealership (until you look outside, haha). With a place this nice, it should be no surprise that the service was similarly great. Our waiters were hustling to get our plates served and cleared. However, my colleague did complain that the bartender seemed to overlook her while she was trying to place an order. That being said, I wasn't there, so I can't speak much on this interaction. Finally, onto the review of the food! Unfortunately, this is where my review may get a bit critical. First, we had a charcuterie board laid out for appetizers. The meat selection was pretty solid, but the cheeses were very basic. The breads were too crispy for me, almost to the point of being straight-up crackers. Second, we were each served a popover (a type of bread that somewhat reminded me of a giant cream puff sans the cream). I liked the texture of this, and it was fun to eat. Sadly, it was slightly burnt, so all I could taste was char. Next, we had a salad with mixed greens, corn, croutons, and strawberries. I liked that the dressing could come on the side! The strawberries added a nice freshness to the dish, which was overall good but nothing crazy. For the main entree, we had a white fish and steak over a bed of asparagus and mashed potatoes. I loved the mashed potatoes, which were creamy and seasoned beautifully. However, the proteins were rather disappointing. The steak was very tough, so much so that I struggled to chew it. Although the fish was soft and flaky, the seasoning really threw me off. I'm not sure how to explain it, but my coworkers and I agreed that it was just a very odd flavor palette. Finally, dessert was a slice of red velvet cake. I am a dessert lover and by no means picky. That being said...I was still let down by this cake! And it takes a lot for me to be let down by a sweet treat. Visually, it was stunning, sure. But the flavor was rather tasteless. I kept taking a bite, but honestly, I was not tasting much of anything besides the strawberry sauce on top. The best part of this dish was probably the two dollops of cream cheese frosting. Overall, I enjoyed the ambiance and convenience of Vintana, but I was really disappointed by the food. I don't think I would go out of my way to return, but then again, I would be open to giving it a second try.

TL;DR: Good view paired with great service - hard to go wrong! Drinks were well-balanced and a variety of seasonals to pick from. The appetizer bread was a hit or miss with our group - love it or hate it. Overall, entrees were good, though not great. No significant stand-out. Unfortunately, a slightly heavier hand with the cooking oil for our taste (especially on the vegetables and fries), but all in all, a yummy experience. We liked the freshness of the produce especially in the salads! Cheers, Vintana!

Cool spot over the Lexus dealer in Esco. Pretty nice upscale place that was poppin on a Saturday night. I went with a NY strip with a side of broccolini. Strip was cooked just how I like and super flavorful. I can't remember the sauce that came with it but it was good. The broccolini was also good I just prefer broccoli. Also had a wedge Cesar which was a great starter. Plenty of seating but it can be busy even if you have a reservation. Parking is at the top and generally there's always something open.

New York steak. For sides I subbed for the bechamel and garlic mash.

Great service. New York Steak was cooked well but slightly tough. I also had the broccolini which was flavorful. Outside ambiance was nice but I would prefer more of the Mountain View. Not impressed by the ube cheesecake, very light on flavor. Would have preferred more mango contrast

A very unique place to visit! I especially recommend the outdoor seating sometimes they even have live music, which makes the atmosphere really special. I absolutely loved their complimentary bread. It's delicious and unlimited! Tip: don't fill up too much on the bread because the food portions are very generous Overall, a great experience and definitely worth visiting. Food : 5 stars Vibe : 5 stars Service: 5 stars

First off, Im 100% sure the owner here uses ChatGPT to answer all negative yelp reviews. Any business owner worth their weight is able to think for themselves and use their brain to answer unless they're completely illiterate or too incompetent to think of a good response. Second off, are they even a brewery? I see cans and taps of their own beer, but looking into the business, I dont think they own a brewery at all. This is more along the lines of a taphouse/pub. THAT BEING SAID, the food is quite nice. I think the pizza is great and it feels like they make and roll their own dough which is respectable and ambitious for a random little spot like this. But It is quiet...too quiet. The beer tender would constantly hangout at the handicap table talking to any co-worker with free time on their hands for a long time. Seems like a cushy job honestly. I'm assuming they would hold conversation with customers, but unfortunately There were no customers... its a ghost town, and i left thinking, "This place is creepy." I'll just pick up and eat the pizza at home next time. I'm waiting to see what generic CHATGPT response the owner gives me.

So, coming here for my wife's birthday for her favorite fare of rare steak seemed like a slam dunk. And yet, I'm left wondering if I either came on a bad day or this place has really fallen off in quality in the last few years. Let me start by saying that our server was fantastic. Sadly, I can't remember his name, but his attentiveness, demeanor, and knowledge base were truly the highlight of our time here. The restaurant itself is okay, a bit of a 60's to 70's vibe that just straddles that fine line between kitsch and tacky. It's small, cozy, with a good amount of lighting and comfortable seating. We were quickly seated and ordered without much issue. Our dinner started with the Crispy Brussels Sprouts w/Smoked Bacon. They were well cooked, nice and tender, while still having a decent chew to the char on the outside. The flavors are very sweet, with the honey and balsamic vinegar coming very forward, without the parmesan cheese adding some much needed saltiness. It was pretty good, though I believe it would have been better with added feta for more sour and salty notes instead. I had the Seared Scallops, a special for the day. The scallops themselves were small, probably each about a $0.50 coin in size, as opposed to something a bit bigger than a silver dollar you'd normally see served; but, there were a good four on the plate instead of a typical three to make up for it. They were a bit over cooked, making them dry and cracked in most places instead of having a smooth crusted sear. Still, they were seasoned well, with a nice white wine sauce that gave them a good overall flavor and a small spoonful of crab roe on each for some added texture. The real star on my plate, however, was the vegetable puree that had notes of chickpea and red pepper ... quite delicious. My lovely wife had the 12oz Prime Rib, an apparent Monday night staple at Bellamy's. She was initially worried that it would be too much, as she generally can only eat a small amount before getting full. But, when her plate hit the table, those worries evaporated as what she received was much closer to an 8oz portion. It looked nice and rare, a good amount of pink; however, there was no crust on the edges. No real seasoning on the outside, no salt or pepper, no Italian herb mix, nothing to give any real flavor other than that basic beef. We brought this up with our server who noted that a few other patrons had complained that the prime rib was too salty and the chef's solution was just to eliminate seasoning altogether. Chef's, don't do this, keep making Prime Rib properly. People, learn how Prime Rib is prepared and how to eat it. The bite I took of it was terrible, making me think of how boiled beef might taste in England. The Horseradish on the side was alright in taste, but had very little of the bite that you would normally expect to it. The carrots were undercooked, with no caramelizing to them. And the potato was pretty basic. All in all, a terrible birthday dinner. For dessert, we were given a slice of White Chocolate Cheesecake. It wasn't fantastic, but it wasn't bad. It could have been served better by being closer to room temperature. I will say that whoever is in charge of selecting or ordering their fruit needs a raise, because the blueberries and strawberries on the plate were utterly fantastic. In the end, a very subpar dinner from a place that I was very much expecting more from. It's especially difficult since there's not that many places in and around the area where you can get a really good steak. Apparently, Bellamy's can't be trusted with that either. And to be fair, it's not a bad place to have dinner. The food was okay in most ways, pretty good in others. It's just not anywhere near what a good restaurant should be considering the cost. Looking at the older reviews, it's apparent Bellamy's is not what it once was. Hopefully, it can find its way back there in the future.

The staff was very warm and welcoming, though throughout the evening it definitely felt like they may have been short staffed and stretched a bit thin. Since we were headed to a movie after dinner, we decided to keep things light and share appetizers plus dessert. We tried the Fried Shishito Peppers, Veggie Potstickers, Grilled Broccolini, Rosemary Garlic Fries, Whipped Burrata, Garlic Noodles, Salmon Poke Tacos, and Lamb Chops. Overall, the food was decent but nothing especially memorable. The lamb chops were cooked nicely but could have used more seasoning, and the poke tacos were tasty but tiny -- literally about the size of my pinky for each taco. We were disappointed they had sold out of both the Crème Brûlée Bread Pudding and the Budino, which were the desserts we originally wanted to try. Thankfully, the Butter Toffee Cake completely saved dessert for us -- absolutely delicious and easily the highlight of the meal. Overall, a cute spot with good vibes for a girls night, but the food itself didn't quite live up to the hype for us.

Tucked into the corner of a little strip mall on the east side of Esco I can't imagine how many people have missed or passed it without giving a thought. I've lost track of how many breakfasts we have had at this diner over the years but the one consistent thing is the service is always on point and everything we have tried has been great (except the chicken fried steak which was perfectly average but I am SUPER picky about chicken fried steak). I tend to stick with omelettes but their pancakes and waffles are always delicious and honestly I can never decide if I like the hash browns or home fries more so that is always a last minute decision. It has sucked watching the prices go up but I would be disingenuous if I said I didn't understand that they are dealing with their own suppliers raising prices on them and if they did not raise the prices then they would go out of business. This is my goto breakfast place any time friends and family visit, can't recommend it strongly enough.

I can proudly say I have tried quite a few things on the menu already and have not been disappointed. I'd say at this point my brother and I have been here over 5 times. We even brought our parents here twice already. Once for dinner and once for breakfast. My brother and I have done breakfast, lunch and dinner at this point. The first item I tried was the Sun-Dried Tomato Rigatoni. This was so creamy and delicious (later found out you cam add another meat). Which my mom tried her first time around with Salmon. She said it was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. From that first pasta, I tried the March Month Special, I got the chopped cheese with no cheese (lactose intolerant) but man did I devour it so fast!! There tater tots never miss btw ALWAYS crispy. The Grilled Chicken Sando, mannn was thay superr good too. Chicken was juicy and always love me some avocado. I told my brother I am going to make it a priority to try everything I cam here. Also, the presentation on the plates ESPECIALLY the Fresno 1/2 Chicken *chefs kiss* The service is NEVER misses. Soo attentive no matter the time of day. Tony's drinks are UH-MAY-ZING. We had Mckellen as our server and he was great. The biggest shoutout to James (the owner) seems like he knows how to create a phenomenal work environment and keeps his people happy. We've seen him walk around often and checking in. You can definitely see thay he cares. I HIGHLY recommend coming here if you have the chance. Also, try the Espresso Martini my brother who is far from a coffee drinker even loves it!!
