The top os the simple potato and the the chicken bits
    Warren P.

Today my wife and I tried California Kumpir based on a recommendation from a friend. First, the woman who owns the shop is a sweet heart. There is no dinning in, which is perfect for us. They have two small table to sit and talk outside while you wait. My wife ordered a simple baked Potato which she enjoyed. I ordered the Chicken Bit with the toppings. My wife enjoyed the way the potato was cooked. Mine was excellent. The skin of the potato had a nice crunchy texture. The inside was mashed. The toppings were very generous and well proportioned making it very flavorful. The price was very reasonable. The food arrived pretty quickly. I didn't time it, but I don't think we waited more than 10 minutes. They're five star in my book. I look forward to trying one of the other options.

Absolutely amazing! The woman who helped us was phenomenal, so kind, welcoming, and genuinely made our visit special. The loaded baked potatoes were to die for perfectly cooked and packed with flavor in every bite. I'd come back here a million times without hesitation!! Do yourself a favor and stop by for a potato and some Turkish tea you won't regret it!!

SO YUMMY!! My friend and I visited the other day for the first time and we are addicted. The owner was so sweet and helpful when we were debating which kumpir to try. Needless to say, we will be back!!

I never expected a loaded potato would be this good. Everything just combined perfectly and the sauce was very good too. The rice pudding is very good too! The owner really takes pride in her cooking and it shows. This is a must try spot!

Such a hidden gem! The Kumpir is absolutely delicious and really filling. Sheila, the owner, is such a wonderful lady. She is so sweet and makes you feel like youre at moms for dinner.

Super friendly lady. The food was delicious I got the one with chicken. She also gave me this sauce, so good!!! The service and food 10/10

Went here for my friend's birthday today, the owner was so sweet and brought us tea and put the candles that I brought in her potato! The food was delicious and the service was fast, will definitely be a returning customer.

Meatlover with Jalapeños and California style

Great fast service. The food tasted fresh and cooked meat was real thin but filled with flavor. The environment is very homie. Overall will be coming back and possibly seeing if I could make it for lunch during my work days. This needs alot more recognition (side note the Instagram doesn't load with the QR code)

Food is delicious - if you are craving a hearty, flavorful meal, this is a great spot! Decided to give this place a try with my bf and glad we did - kind service and learned about Turkish potato (kumpir). I would say that 2 potatoes are enough to share between 2-3 people given the size of the potatoes, the protein and vegetables stuffed in them, and the sauces. Each potato comes with a chipotle looking sauce (nothing spicy, but it added some salt to your food if you wanted). If we had to rank from what we ordered: 1 - traditional 2 - meat lovers 3 - mexican corn (although this is a 1 for me) 4 - chicken bites

I have been craving baked potatoes every day & I found this adorable place!! & the owner is the sweetest woman. The potatoes 'kumpirs' on the menu are her special creations. Or you can make your own! I did both. I will be coming back to try it all :) check it out!!!

This place is a Gem. The owner was very kind and nice. She explained the food very well and was accommodating. We ordered the Mexican style and Meat lovers loaded potatoes. Generous amount of servings from the toppings as well as the huge potatoes are very tender and flavorful. While we wait for our order the owner offered us tea served in a beautiful tea set. The place is very clean and tidy. I'm so glad that it's very close to our home because we will keep coming back for more. The prices are really good as well and worth it for the huge portion servings.

I saw a post on Facebook about this place so I had to check it out. It's a small hole in the wall, easily missed if you don't know it's there. When I walked in it smelled delicious, like walking into mom's kitchen, warm and butter and made me hungry. I heard a voice from the back say, "Be with you in just a moment". It has a small but very intriguing menu, great flavor combinations, as well as build-your-own options. The owner, Sheila, is very sweet and friendly and has a way making you feel very welcome. I ordered the traditional and the Mexican corn. She treated me to a Turkish tea while I waited for my food. As she bagged up my food she asked if I would like to sample a dessert she had been working on. It was delicious, not too sweet. We talked about things that could be added to it, she is a truly wonderful woman. The whole experience was delightful, and once I got home and tried the food it was amazingly delicious! So flavorful and fresh! I will definitely be going back, thank you Sheila!

There is a nice indoor/outdoor vibe as there are some really big glass garage type windows that open (or close). The service has always been very prompt and friendly. First off, Im 100% sure the owner here uses ChatGPT to answer all negative yelp reviews. Any business owner worth their weight is able to think for themselves and use their brain to answer unless they're completely illiterate or too incompetent to think of a good response. Second off, are they even a brewery? I see cans and taps of their own beer, but looking into the business, I dont think they own a brewery at all. This is more along the lines of a taphouse/pub. THAT BEING SAID, the food is quite nice. I think the pizza is great and it feels like they make and roll their own dough which is respectable and ambitious for a random little spot like this. But It is quiet...too quiet. The beer tender would constantly hangout at the handicap table talking to any co-worker with free time on their hands for a long time. Seems like a cushy job honestly. I'm assuming they would hold conversation with customers, but unfortunately There were no customers... its a ghost town, and i left thinking, "This place is creepy." I'll just pick up and eat the pizza at home next time. I'm waiting to see what generic CHATGPT response the owner gives me.

So, coming here for my wife's birthday for her favorite fare of rare steak seemed like a slam dunk. And yet, I'm left wondering if I either came on a bad day or this place has really fallen off in quality in the last few years. Let me start by saying that our server was fantastic. Sadly, I can't remember his name, but his attentiveness, demeanor, and knowledge base were truly the highlight of our time here. The restaurant itself is okay, a bit of a 60's to 70's vibe that just straddles that fine line between kitsch and tacky. It's small, cozy, with a good amount of lighting and comfortable seating. We were quickly seated and ordered without much issue. Our dinner started with the Crispy Brussels Sprouts w/Smoked Bacon. They were well cooked, nice and tender, while still having a decent chew to the char on the outside. The flavors are very sweet, with the honey and balsamic vinegar coming very forward, without the parmesan cheese adding some much needed saltiness. It was pretty good, though I believe it would have been better with added feta for more sour and salty notes instead. I had the Seared Scallops, a special for the day. The scallops themselves were small, probably each about a $0.50 coin in size, as opposed to something a bit bigger than a silver dollar you'd normally see served; but, there were a good four on the plate instead of a typical three to make up for it. They were a bit over cooked, making them dry and cracked in most places instead of having a smooth crusted sear. Still, they were seasoned well, with a nice white wine sauce that gave them a good overall flavor and a small spoonful of crab roe on each for some added texture. The real star on my plate, however, was the vegetable puree that had notes of chickpea and red pepper ... quite delicious. My lovely wife had the 12oz Prime Rib, an apparent Monday night staple at Bellamy's. She was initially worried that it would be too much, as she generally can only eat a small amount before getting full. But, when her plate hit the table, those worries evaporated as what she received was much closer to an 8oz portion. It looked nice and rare, a good amount of pink; however, there was no crust on the edges. No real seasoning on the outside, no salt or pepper, no Italian herb mix, nothing to give any real flavor other than that basic beef. We brought this up with our server who noted that a few other patrons had complained that the prime rib was too salty and the chef's solution was just to eliminate seasoning altogether. Chef's, don't do this, keep making Prime Rib properly. People, learn how Prime Rib is prepared and how to eat it. The bite I took of it was terrible, making me think of how boiled beef might taste in England. The Horseradish on the side was alright in taste, but had very little of the bite that you would normally expect to it. The carrots were undercooked, with no caramelizing to them. And the potato was pretty basic. All in all, a terrible birthday dinner. For dessert, we were given a slice of White Chocolate Cheesecake. It wasn't fantastic, but it wasn't bad. It could have been served better by being closer to room temperature. I will say that whoever is in charge of selecting or ordering their fruit needs a raise, because the blueberries and strawberries on the plate were utterly fantastic. In the end, a very subpar dinner from a place that I was very much expecting more from. It's especially difficult since there's not that many places in and around the area where you can get a really good steak. Apparently, Bellamy's can't be trusted with that either. And to be fair, it's not a bad place to have dinner. The food was okay in most ways, pretty good in others. It's just not anywhere near what a good restaurant should be considering the cost. Looking at the older reviews, it's apparent Bellamy's is not what it once was. Hopefully, it can find its way back there in the future.

I can proudly say I have tried quite a few things on the menu already and have not been disappointed. I'd say at this point my brother and I have been here over 5 times. We even brought our parents here twice already. Once for dinner and once for breakfast. My brother and I have done breakfast, lunch and dinner at this point. The first item I tried was the Sun-Dried Tomato Rigatoni. This was so creamy and delicious (later found out you cam add another meat). Which my mom tried her first time around with Salmon. She said it was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. From that first pasta, I tried the March Month Special, I got the chopped cheese with no cheese (lactose intolerant) but man did I devour it so fast!! There tater tots never miss btw ALWAYS crispy. The Grilled Chicken Sando, mannn was thay superr good too. Chicken was juicy and always love me some avocado. I told my brother I am going to make it a priority to try everything I cam here. Also, the presentation on the plates ESPECIALLY the Fresno 1/2 Chicken *chefs kiss* The service is NEVER misses. Soo attentive no matter the time of day. Tony's drinks are UH-MAY-ZING. We had Mckellen as our server and he was great. The biggest shoutout to James (the owner) seems like he knows how to create a phenomenal work environment and keeps his people happy. We've seen him walk around often and checking in. You can definitely see thay he cares. I HIGHLY recommend coming here if you have the chance. Also, try the Espresso Martini my brother who is far from a coffee drinker even loves it!!
