    Cafe de Olla

On our way to Ensenada we had to have breakfast so we ended up at This Little Gem of a Restaurant called Omeleto. I had the Green Chilaquiles with a Fried Egg on top it was So Yummy. The Refried beans & Diced up Potatoes were also Delicious. The Cafe De Oolla was just the icing on the cake packed with Canela & Piloncillo flavor. If you ever in Tijuana and your wondering where to have A Delicious Breakfast.well make it a Priority to stop by and see for yourself.

Good food and food service, no waiting, good coffee. Tried the huevos madrileños and Denver omelette.

Barbacoa Omlette in All its glor.

Have eaten here a few times and the food and service are very good. Had the Barbacoa Omlette today which was excellent. The presentation also makes the plate look very appealing. Although the food does not come out super fast, I've never waited more than 15 minutes for my food to come out.

Mar y Tierra (surf and turf) To me: A reflection for me to have on my life to be delicious.

I am going to say that right off the bat they are very generous with their plates and don't hold back with getting you fed. Mine was a surf and turf omelet and it did not fail. Incredibly deserves a Grade F for Fucking Delicious. The coffee was really something different and was worth waking up and starting with that to drink. I ask from their filter and no need to ask for sugar cause the cream they give has a good sweetener to it. Yeah definitely coming back here.

The restaurant was a bit tricky to find but the service and food were delicious. The staff are bilingual and there are menus in English. There is a wide variety of breakfast options from a light meal of oatmeal to a full spread omelet and sides. The fresh made papaya juice was exactly what I needed.

Delicious breakfast and nice service. I had the ribeye steak omelet. It tasted so good. My lady had the California omelet...

Slam breakfast with coffee and juice. Exactly what I was craving. Friendly staff, Joseph Ine and Juan. Juan speak perfect English. Total bill $10.50.

The Zona Rio location has a small dining area, that is very popular with both the locals and visitors. It is easy to see why. Their menu does not over dose on the standard morning and afternoon items that you would find anyplace. However, this is the first restaurant I've been to in Tijuana, that does not have an English menu.... so I had to labor through the Spanish menu. But, they do have unique dishes, thus making the visit adventurous, because it is difficult to choose. I went back and forth, and finally settled for their 3-egg omelet with asparagus and sheep cheese. It came with refried beans, strings of carrots and beets, small fired up tostadas and fresh tortillas (both blue and yellow corn). A small side of soggy chilaquiles was also served. A small flavorful salsa tray is also provided with 3 options, ranging from mild to hot. The asparagus spears were thin, cut up into small pieces and sautéed with mild spices. The outer egg covering soft and not overdone. If anything, there was too much sheep cheese, in certain portions of the omelet. I say this because it was an asparagus omelet, and it, instead of the cheese, should have been the star. Still, it did not take away from the other commendable aspects of the complete entree and its accompaniments. Before the meal, a small refreshing fruit plate is served. Coffee and overall service here, was mucho excellente.

They have their own designated parking, which is nice, as sometimes parking may be an issue in town. The parking attendant welcomes you and lets you know where to park. You are immediately greeted when you walk in. I typically visit for a late lunch. The restaurant has a cozy feel. The staff are attentive and friendly. The presentation of the food is nice and it tastes good. Some of the dishes that I have tried are: Tarahumara (portobello omelet), Xitomatl (entomatadas), Huichol (chilaquiles con cecina), Mulli (mole Oaxaqueño), Teotihuacán (chilaquiles con chorizo y huevo), and Coyoltzin (puntas de filete). My favorite has been the Coyoltzin because the meat is tender and juicy. I also love that they bring salsas to the table. I like the chiles with oil and vinegar that they make. Overall, a great place to have breakfast or lunch with friends and family.

Found this place, thanks to Yelp…read more We crossed over to droop off my parents and wanted a place that served food but that we could sit down and talk. We had a 15 minute wait before we were sat at our table. As soon as we sat down, we had coffee cups ready and regular coffee or Cafe de olla ready to be served. Our Server was amazing. He made sure we were comfortable, and asked if we had any questions on the menu. We ordered the queso fundido to start, chilaquiles and tamales everything was great! I can't wait to go back and try the lunch/dinner menu. The place was very busy but the place was filled with good vibes and great energy.

I had someone call from our hotel and we got right in and there was a line outside. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is all great. Their breakfast goes from American eggs and bacon with the best potatoes to wonderful burrito type breakfast items. Their menudo is great and they have great Mexican meats as well. Lunch and dinner is about the same. They make Mexican style fish and steak that is just perfect every time. All of their Mexican dishes are just wonderful. You can't go wrong. They even have bottled water--never drink the water there, just don't. They have the best rice and beans. The service is great. They make you feel right at home and even if you don't speak Spanish, most speak English and you will figure it out because they will help you. The prices are fair for what you get. At dinner I consider it fine dining. It is all good and you will be happy. The place is also clean and super comfortable.

Bad: * Very, very hard to find a table. * The food prices are very expensive for the quality of mediocre food and drinks. * We only ordered six pieces of oysters and two shrimp tostadas. It took over 30 minutes to get our food. It took too long. * The Customer service while ordering food was so bad it seemed like they didn't even care about our order. * I feel bad for the waiters and waitresses delivering food because they were running around looking for the numbers on the table. I know that it can be very frustrating and chaotic. * Not a good place for large parties due to the very limited seating. * Not very children friendly, more for an adult environment. * But the worst of it was the parking, it was very bad and hard to find, you might have to park more than two blocks away to find any parking. Conclusions: we were very disappointed and not a good experience. Most likely we will not be coming back.
