The margaritas were SO good and the pescado (fish) tacos I got were amazing. They also put double fish in per taco compared to most other places so they were pretty filling. My wife also said her meal was one of the best lunches she's had in a while - I think it was the combinacion plate. People working there are friendly so the service was great as well. Additionally, when we went it was a Sunday and there was a woman singing outdoor on the patio and she was great. Really good voice and people (locals) kept going up to her / saying hi which I thought was neat because it made Ensenada feel like a small town. Also worth noting, unlike the shops around us that charged us at unfavorable rates, our server (proactively) charged us in MXN Pesos which saved us a few bucks and was super appreciated. When we return to Ensenada, it's safe to say we will be back.

Inside is cute, like a little Cafe. My husband had an omelet that had carne en su jugo, chorizo and chicharron. He loved it especially that it comes with your choice of made to order corn or flour tortillas. I had a cup of their white menudo and it was so yummy. Reminded me of the way my aunt made hers. I also ordered a migas plate. Fried tortilla stripe mixed with scrambled eggs and tomato n onion served with rice and homemade potatoes. Everything was delicious and the service was outstanding! Will add this to our return places.

They have a few tables inside and outside, plus it's on a walking only street so it's chill and calm. When ordering a local told me everything is good here and the place was filled, which is always a good sign when trying a new place. Staff was friendly and prices were great. My friend and I tried a few baked goods - some cookies and a brownie and we loved it all. The brownies reminded me of ones my mom used to make with powdered sugar on top. Hogaza Hogaza is a nice little bakery to grab some coffee and eats in Ensenada!

It's an adorable little coffee and pastry shop with outdoor seating, and next door is a Thrifty's ice cream shop (closed when we went by). There are fresh flower bouquets for sale out front. Inside, there is a beautiful selection of cakes, pastries, and fresh breads, as well as coffees, sandwiches and breakfast entrees. There are a few tables inside, and would make a great place to dine with friends or do some work. I picked up some pastries and they were all great, and the Iced Coco Mate Latte was creamy and delicious and not too sweet. Staff was friendly, and I got by with my mediocre high school Spanish. Apple Pay accepted here.

To be honest, the food was just mediocre--but that might be because we had incredible food the day before at another spot. The restaurant itself is beautiful and fairly large, and the portions were pretty generous. One thing that stood out was that Ensenada seems to have a lot of street vendors. While we were eating, one actually walked right into the restaurant and came up to our table trying to sell us flowers. I guess it could be considered romantic, but he had already approached us outside earlier as well. The staff also felt a bit standoffish. Service was slow, and no one really came back to check if we needed anything. Our nachos ended up being about $25, though they did accept USD. It's in one of the nicer areas, but overall I've definitely had better experiences.

We moved on our request to a patio table to enjoy a meal. The service was excellent at this place. The food was great the beverages good. Everything from the coffee to margaritas, to the mojito was tasty. The flautas crunchy yet the meat was tender. Chips were fresh, and everything nicely presented. Bathrooms were very clean as was the bar and patio and restaurant. I would return here as we enjoyed it.
