Let be this spot. We come here almost every time we are in town. The food is delicious. It's made to order and tastes lukewarm you're at someone's grandmothers house. You won't wait long and the portions are generous. We are in town for just one night so we stopped in to bring some guacamole and pineapple agua fresca for our hotel room. The take out service is just as impeccable as the dining room service. The ambiance??? You'll find families, white collar and blue collar workers and couples all in the same place. DiDi is the local food delivery and you'll see them popping in and out of the from door from time to time. Obviously, people want the food if they can dine in or have it brought to their doorstep. Excellent.

Very delicious enchiladas, chilaquile, pancake and coffee. Service is excellent, thank you to the considerate asian man, for bringing a stand for my purse! Definitely I am impressed by the consideration and service.

We love this place! Local food and a family destination for the locals. All juice drinks are squeezed to order. They have a daily good special and flavored water... cucumber water is the best I've ever had. Portions are big, salsa is fresh made and if it's not on the menu just ask! Remember eat where the locals eat you will m

I really enjoyed our breakfast at this location. Huge portions and always kept your coffee filled. I will definitely be coming back for another time in Ensenada!

We were directed here by a local, the eatery was filled with locals, we were the only tourists here so we knew we had made a great choice! It was so delicious, the chilaquiles were crispy and had a great flavor, I got the divorciados style with red and green sauce. The torta Cubana had great flavor as well.

Not great food. Really average. Fresh juices and nice staff but the food is not worth a stop.

It looked like there was some of a wait time, but it turned out they did have a table for 2 available. The wait time is mostly for large parties. If you do come with a large party they have seating in the back just note it will take awhile. By large I mean 11 people (2 parties of 11 people showed up when I was there). The food. So many yummy options I had a hard time picking. I ended up ordering the combination plate as it included a little bit of everything: your choice of either green or red chilaquiles, machaca (shredded beef not the dry one), egg, beans and some fries. I also ordered fresh orange juice as I can't say no to fresh juices. I ATE EVERYTHING! It was so good I couldn't stop eating even when I knew I was full LOL. Side note def get the coffee as it is really good. We actually ended up buying the coffee they bought with us called La Negrita and is a couple of minutes away from the restaurant. Plus a local coffee vendor. Staff is super friendly and service is fast (for smaller parties). Place is clean and does have parking in the back. Definitely recommend this place for breakfast. If I am ever back in the area I am definitely coming back!

The long lines meant - it was so good and worth the wait. Honestly, it wasn't too long. My friend and I ordered 1 tostada each. She got the aguachiles and I the Guera. Great portions packed with flavor. I went back for oysters, which they shuck right in front of you. There were so many chile bottles to choose from. They also had some dark "crack" sauce that I chose to put on. I'm no sabo so I no sabo what the salsa was but it was delicious. Spicy, tangy, umami. Muyyyy ricooooo

Thus we made a point to stop by for food during our second cruise stop in Ensenada, 4 days later. We discovered the large crowds were not in line waiting, but were instead enjoying their ceviche and other cold seafood while standing up. It made for a festive atmosphere, definitely ramping up the enjoyment of really great tasting seafood. The food stall is located facing the main road of Ensenada (walking distance from the cruise port) and is separated into two parts: the front serving seafood tostadas and the back serving cocktails and aquachiles. Each had different lines, with a common guy accepting payment after delivery. They have been doing this for a while (1981?) and things are efficient. I wanted one thing, which was the mixed cocktail with all the seafood available (campechano, a word I've come to love since moving to the LA area). They have 4 sizes from chico ($105) to jumbo ($360). The seafood mix is diced together ahead of time to save on time, and are mostly diced pretty fine. The mix is prepared fresh though, and was ready in about a minute. It was excellent, refreshing and just the right amount for me. I had wanted to try the seafood cocktail again from La Guerrerense (another nearby famous seafood stand), so that was our first stop during our second visit to Ensenada in 5 days. We then visited other sites in the area, saving El Guero for the end before we headed back to the ship. As expected the cocktail from Guerrerense was very good, but this version from El Guero was even better....better selection of seafood, and more finely mixed to give a better representation of the different textures of the freshness. That would make it the best seafood cocktail I've ever enjoyed.
