This place never disappoints!! We had our usual ceviche and quesadillas which are always delicious. This time we tried the crepes. Wow!! Wonderful

Unbelievably good! Music, ambiance, cats....love, love it here. Very friendly staff. Marco was very nice. Will definitely be back. Milanese de res and cafe de olla. Soooooo good! Ate my lunch too fast to take a pic, but very yummy.

Stopped by after visiting some wineries and my god the food was amazing. We were seated right away, and surprised by the quality of this family owned restaurant. The ceviche was outstanding, by far the best we've had on our trip. The Milanesa de res and asada fajitas were amazing too! Definitely make it a priority to stop when in the Valle. 10/10 service and food

Food was good. Accepts American dollars but im not sure about credit card. Owners don't speak English but we got by with google translate. Food is probably comparable to American prices but not absorbent. Note: no alcoholic beverages

Found this hidden gem after leaving El Cielo Winery. Everything was AMAZING, to say the least. Fresh, delicious, authentic, and great pricing. Service was also great. Making it a point to come back every time I visit Valle, moving forward.

Hidden gem in Valle de Guadalupe. We ordered the pescado ceviche, tacos gobernador, milanesa, and 1 asada quesadilla. The chef helped us order and everything was made fresh. Lovely atmosphere to top it all off :)

Chile Relleno plate with bistec ("Javi Special")

After touring wineries and wanting more substance we found this spot on Yelp. Our group ate gobernador tacos, steak and shrimp, torta aguada, chicharrones, and chile relleno. My brother in law (Javi) couldn't decide between the bistec & the Chile Rellenó, so the waitress offered to combine the plates. Oh...our happy stomachs...it was the best dish I've had during our whole trip to Baja!!! If you pick right, your plate will be drowned in savory salsa that is in no doubt a passed down recipe from generations before. The highlights are delicious food, price, and ambiance. The cons are no alcohol sold here (but this wasn't a dealbreaker for us since they allowed us to drink what we had with us).

Wow!!! This is a hidden gem when visiting the wineries in Valle de Guadalupe. Great atmosphere, excellent service and hospitality and excellent home cooked, made to order Mexican antojitos. They also have rooms for rent if your interested in simply a room to sleep in. In the town of El Porvenir. Highly recommended!!!

Delicious and affordable dinner in Valle de guadal. The owners are super nice. This may be the best value in the area.

Food excellent. An English language menu would have been helpful. We really liked the shrimp.

    Churros El Tio Gelos

Honorary 6 Stars In…read moreEnsenada, our absolute favorite thing to do is eat fresh churros. It was raining on our port day, but we still ventured out to feed our churro craving. Luckily, Churros El Tio Gelos was in the first grouping of booths that you get to walking from the cruise ships. My daughter said "That's the one from last time! I remember because of the Minions". Try to remember your pesos since they charge a premium if you only have dollars. When we got there, they had a stack of churros ready to go in a fry basket. We waited a few minutes for them to sell through those. Once they started a new batch, we asked if we could have the fresh ones. One of the workers extrudes the churro batter directly into the oil, flips it once, and pulls it magical coils once they turn golden brown. Then the coil is broken down into sticks, coated in sugar and cinnamon, and into a paper bag or styrofoam box. I'd have them put it directly into my mouth if it was allowed. If you've ever gone to a theme park and thought the churros were pretty good, these churros will blow your mind. They're crispy on the outside, a little chewy on the inside, and just the right amount of sugar, cinnamon, and oil. It just lights up every sensor in the primitive parts of our brains. One of the only foods we don't have a good picture of since we eat them immediately. Easily one of the best bites I've ever had.

We ordered one serving and immediately wished we had gotten more. The stand is located right across from the port promenade, making it super easy to walk over and grab a fresh batch. Don't miss out, go get some!
