Cute little cafe! This is cafe is more like what I would eat in the US not in Mexico but not to say it was not good. They had a lot of pastries and cookies along with breakfast sandwiches you can make to order. I got a croissant sandwich with egg, bacon and avocado. It was really good. Prices were very reasonable, and they have a little seating area outside which was perfect because we had our corgi with us.

    Yummy tiramisu.

You know how heat makes teenagers whine like little toddlers? Yeah, so walking around from our cruise that stopped here in Ensenada, our group of teens start complaining after 15 minutes of sun. So we had to stop by the Thriftys ice cream shop next door. Mind you, the Thriftys ice cream warehouse and cooking plant is like from the town we came from!! So we stopped by here and the aroma when you walk in is a pleasant punch in the face. Unless you're married to Amber Heard, as pleasant as punches in the face can get. Ordered a tiramisu cake and ice latte. What a great snack in the mid morning heat during summer. Cake and coffee was superb, and nice cool inside seating as well as a nice outside patio. And the very best of all, a clean bathroom!

This was the after-dinner coffee stop. It was one of few places still open at that time of night, which was surprising for Ensenada's restaurant row. We walked into this place, and took a good look at our options. I decided on something simple: a cappuccino. After a few minutes, the barista had my order ready. I took it in a to-go cup, as we still had to drive an hour north to hour hotel in Tijuana. I sipped my cappuccino the whole way back, but noticed that it didn't give me much of a kick. This is surprising, as cappuccinos usually do give me a burst of energy. Fast forward an hour, and we get to our hotel. Since the night was still young, we decided to go clubbing. The problem was, the coffee I bought from this place did nothing for me. So I had to order a cappuccino from my hotel room service to get the effect I needed. So, in conclusion, this place has potential. But skimping customers out of their caffeine is no way to reach that potential. Maybe it was an overlook on the barista's part that evening, but they need to whip up coffee that actually does its job. Let's hope they get the message and improve. Their customer service was decent otherwise, which earns them three stars.

Hogaza Hogaza sign. Nice, little sidewalk cafe with tables where you can sit, sip espresso and people watch.

This is a French style bakery that sells a variety of breads, cookies, muffins and pastries. They have a sidewalk cafe where you can sit, sip espresso and watch people walking by. We just wanted a small treat. My husband loves soufflés and they had one small one in chocolate. Though we are not fans of a lot of chocolate, we decided to try it. The soufflé was cold but they heat it in a convection oven. It was really more of a lava cake but not hot enough to be molten inside. Not quite the soufflé experience but we didn't wait an hour either. It was good but very chocolate-y but, I'm sure, chocolate lovers would be happy! Hubs also got a croissant which wasn't spectacular-not as buttery as many- but it was okay. The ambiance, the coffee, and the friendly staff make it 4 stars. We would definitely return to try some of their other treats!

Last second decision stop. Pleasantly surprised with a variety of regular or vegan breads and pastries. Almost forgot to take a photo of the goodie's before eating- oops. Cafe Americano was strong and hit the spot as an after dinner treat.

Mocha latte 10/10! Also ordered chilaquiles verdes and croissant sandwich! Very good!

Food was 10/10! Coffee was even better! Highly recommend the chilaquiles verdes! And the breakfast croissant!

This is our second time frequent this place. Last time was a year ago. Last year it has a more a younger vibe. It seemed it has matured itself as this year when we ventured in this morning. I order a salchicha omelette (sausage) I didn't quite know what type of sausage, but I figure I am vacationing. Have fun and try something different. The sausage in the omelette was chopped down to mini chunks, and was covered in cheese, and the omelette was made up of the yolks. Its a healthy tastes to it. The sausage itself was a mixture of sweet taste with some spices in it. The chai tea latte I had here was the creamiest ever!! The foam of the milk latte didn't sunk down for at least the first 5 minutes. Well one thing I have learned from this trip, the restaurants here do make the drink extra thick!

This is a small little cafe that offers some breakfast/brunch options. It's a cute little spot in Ensenada. The hot chocolate and coffee was very good. We had some Breakfast sandwiches and they were also tasty. The food did take about 30 minutes but they had a cute little sign that let the cliente know that they made everything fresh therefore it would take 15-30 minutes. The staff was was very friendly and the food was good. Can't complain.

This particular location, is the newest addition to the chain, owned and operated by one of the Ramirez Bedolla Family. Guillermo Ramirez Bedolla has many years of experience as a master baker. You can tell that they take great pride in their work. There are several parking spaces directly in front of the bakery for easy access. I was warmly welcomed as I entered and enjoyed the smell of fresh baked breads! Bedolla is known for their traditional Mexican pandulce and specialty breads, all of which are artisan and made by hand. You can find the traditional conchas, as well as amazingly crafted ones decorated like ears of corn or alligators, etc. The ears of corn would be great as part of an edible table centerpiece! My favorite was amazing sweet croissant with almonds! By popular demand, Bedolla has a variety of donuts in an array of flavors and colors, but also offer more "serious" specialty breads and whole grain or multi-grain loaves. Bedolla also offers freshly ground and brewed coffee which was delicious. I was privileged to be given the grand tour behind the scenes in the kitchen. I was impressed with how well organized and clean everything is! If you live in Ensenada, or just visiting, I highly recommend you check out Bedolla Bakery.
