This spot is tucked at the very end of one of the major roads in Ensanada and sits in a small plaza alongside a few other local spots such as a sandwich spot and a matcha shop. The space is small, but laid out nicely, featuring a clear pathway from entry to exit, a nice bench in front of the counter and a separate room that has a few tables and more benches if you wanted to enjoy your goods on site, which we did! My original plan was Mexican Chocolate, but it was 100 degrees, so we went with a few iced lattes and a cold brew. They had alternative milks and a few syrups, so we added oat milk and vanilla to one, and oat milk and maple to the other latte. Both were classically prepared and delicious! An absolutely delightful iced latte! I legit liked my latte and the vibes so much I scooped up one of their t-shirts. Was my only piece of mercy I bought while in Ensanada and it's perfect! Service was super friendly and helpful. The space is clean, well kept and a total vibe that gave local, but all are welcome energy. Overall, solid find! I hate the cliche term everyone uses now, "hidden gem," but this place is a bit hidden and a pleasant surprise. It's got a nice, rustic, modern feel. It's super busy with a team behind the counter. Both times I ordered the maple and salt latte, with whole milk. The flavor was unique and different. Good stuff. The young lady behind the counter was super pleasant to talk to. I didn't catch her name, but then I never do. She mentioned she has spent time in LA and helped me figure out which whole-bean coffee to buy for espresso. They do accept Apple Pay and credit cards but it's been a year since I came here, not sure if I did that last time. I already was holding up the line so I just said I would take pesos for change. Next time I am here, I will bring smaller bills as they don't have change.
