    Pan dulce

This small panadería is located in Stanton, off Western and Cerritos, and offers a wide selection of Mexican pan dulce, tamales, cakes, and bolillos. I believe it's a family-owned establishment. Upon entering, you'll find trays and tongs to grab your bread. I tried the pan dulce and bolillos, both of which were delicious, and the prices are reasonable. While the parking lot was busy, I managed to find a spot without much trouble.

The pan here is so good! It's hot and fresh. I'm a big fan of the owners, they're so kind and friendly. They are ready for Los Reyes de Magos with the rosca de Reyes!

I came on a Thursday around 4 PM and there were a few people doing work at the tables. The service was super quick and I saw why once I ordered. They don't had whisk their matcha but rather just squeeze the matcha out of a bottle. Lowk scared me but I was still willing to give it a try! I ordered a matcha latte and my friend got an einspanner which both looked promising. The matcha is very grassy and leaves my mouth super dry. The flavor is there and it's not super sweet which I like but it also has a weird salty undertone that I'm not used to in a matcha latte. I think I need to try a matcha einspanner since their foams seem to be what makes the drinks good but I otherwise wouldn't get this matcha again. My friend's einspanner was okay. She mainly liked the cream foam but otherwise it wasn't anything special. The coffee is just straight black so it's not sweet at all until you mix the foam in. I've been to this bakery a few times. I came in here recently with some friends after our dinner in the plaza. We got a bunch of stuff to try and bring home. They had lots of fresh made pastries, breads, savory items, and cakes made and ready to be eaten. We asked them what was most popular and they showed us these rice cookie/crackers with almonds on top. They tasted buttery and were highly addictive. I also love their sweet potato mochi which are hard to find in other korean pastry shops. And I also love their cream filled breads. They also have beautifully made cakes that range from $42-$48 each. You can even purchase slices to eat there. Cafe Bleu also has a drink menu with lots of options, which includes teas and matchas. They even had drinks you can't get anywhere. My friend got a ginger tea which was enjoyable. The staff there was very nice and answered all our questions. I love the wide variety and plentiful of places to sit and eat. We will be back.

Funny thing was she didn't smile and the man who came after me she greeted him with a smile because they are of the same ethnicity.
