    Concha!

The bread here at Max's is DELICIOUS! I've never had Pan Dulce this fresh and soft before, and we went there LATE in the afternoon too! They also have the BEST Flan/custard I've eaten to date, sweet and the caramel didn't taste BURNED! Device was wonderful, all my questions about their wares were answered ! If you haven't tried the Pan Dulce and flan at Max's, YOU NEED TO! We drove all the way from Laguna to try them and were NOT disappointed!

Probably the best concha I've ever had! It was so fresh, soft, buttery, and just melts in your mouth! Wish I would have bought more when we stopped! We did go back a few days later, before leaving town, but they had a sign posted that they were closed.

This place is definitely a hidden gem. There are days when they don't have much of a variety. One thing for sure, you will always walk out of there with fluffy melt in your mouth fresh baked bread. Mondays/ Wednesdays & Fridays they have bolillo (rolls) my favorite

Address listed on yelp is wrong. Correct address is 3414 W Ball Rd #J Anaheim, CA 92804 They open regular hours now. Specialized in Mexican sweet breads. Ranging from $0.60 - $1. Facility is super new and modern. Wish they have bolillos. I tried the croissant and pineapple filled pastry and they were ok. Don't recommend the flan ($2). Tasted of artificial flavor and high handed use of sugar and syrup.

The best pan around my neighborhood! Never disappoints and doesn't taste stale like I've experienced at some panaderías. Super friendly!

Was driving down ball rd and decided to stop and get some pan dulce. Man oh man it was good. I stopped by in the morning and the bread was still warm. The bread was super soft. It's the best I have had in the OC.

Thankfully, they took pity on two desperate bread hunters. When they told me the only option was buying an entire tray of 60 Senorita breads, I acted shocked for about half a second before enthusiastically saying, "Deal!" 15 mins later, we were handed a box of pure happiness. Naturally, hubby and I had to perform a thorough quality-control inspection in the car. 6 pieces each later (strictly for research purposes, of course), we confirmed the verdict: fresh, hot, buttery, soft, chewy, perfectly sweet, and dangerously addictive!!! By the time we got home, the box was already looking a little less full. The drive home basically turned into a rolling bread feast!!

It came out warm, buttery, soft, and slightly sweet. Definitely one of those things that's impossible to eat just one of. They have a huge variety of baked goods too. I tried the pistachio and ube mochi donuts which were both delicious, and they also had malasadas filled with different creams, walnut brownies, classic donuts, and lots of fresh packaged bread to take home. The bakery smelled amazing, service was friendly, and everything felt fresh. This is definitely a spot I'd stop at again, especially before heading to Disneyland since it's such an easy and worthwhile stop nearby.

Aside from that, the interior is cute and pretty, the shop is spotless, all of the staffs are super friendly, and above all, every single pastry and cake is just so delicious. I love it. One thing, though: since people said it's located in Fullerton, I thought it would be close to the Fullerton Hannam Chain or H Mart that we always go to. But turns out, we had to drive another 20 minutes to get there.
