After we picked up the food and sat down to eat, we noticed that they forgot to give us the sauce for sweet and sour pork and also the utensils. We had no choice but to call them and go back. Honestly, we expected them to maybe throw in some dumplings to make up for their mistake. Upon arriving, we also informed them that they only gave us one picked radish for the entire order. The guy working there, who obviously didn't want to work there, rudely told us that it is their custom to give only one picked radish. We ordered two stir-fried black soybean noodles!!! I came around ~3pm but we still had to wait a couple minutes to get seated. They don't have a lot of seats so rush hours can be a long wait. We ordered jjampong because I heard they have the best jjampong in town. I have to say their jjampong is better than peking and youngpoong's in garden grove. More than enough food! I wasn't sure what to expect and I was basically lured by the name and Yelp reviews. Well, I suppose I wasn't let down. First, it was a Chinese/Korean fusion, which I didn't have a clue about. So, I had the Kung Pao Chicken (yes, very adventurous) because I always enjoy lots of veggies and meat. The main dish came with rice and two side dishes, which I have no idea what they were, but I ate it all. In the end, it turned to meet and rather exceed my expectations. I felt that one dish could feed two, so I definitely had to grab a box to go. Next time, I want to try the Bulgogi and I LOVE Bulgogi. Whenever I visit OC, I visit here once because I really like the food here. I think the place is too small for its popularity because there are so many people for many years. I really think they should get a bigger place. Wait time can be long depending on the time but the workers come out and take order if you are the next in waiting list. So by the time you sit down, some of the food come out. The food is very fresh and hot and very filling for the price. The dumplings used to be the big one so I was slightly disappointed on that but overall I recommend getting tangsuyook and jjambbong. Two favorite dishes I get from here. This place used to have best Jjampong (Korean seafood noodle soup) in town. I don't know what has happened but their foods have changed completely. All the dishes are too soggy, dumplings became small and tasteless like the ones selling at Asian market, and mostly importantly Jjampong has no taste at all. Portions on the food is great for people sharing. I came on a light day so seating was not a problem. I had the beef Mongolian and it was on point I had Kung pow chicken and it was I've had these same dishes else where but the taste is authentic here.... We love this place! It's a hole in the wall korean chinese place. The food is so good! There's usually a line so we try to go during off hours. I had their "jambong" which is a spicy seafood soup and it is literally enough for 2 people...maybe even 3 people! I also tried their fried dumplings "mandu" and they were tasty, not greasy, and well seasoned. The clientele is mostly Korean although the menu says it is Chinese fusion. A bit confusing unless you are Korean I think. Either way the food was really good, the service was good and the prices were very good!
