We like the place a lot, the ladies who run the place are very nice and good and all they do, the food and the tea was my favorite part. I love the sandwiches, they were all different and delicious, the tea was amazing also, and they do have a little store where people can get stuff from food to souvenirs. The place is very unique and is also clean. They take their time with the food bc the place is always full, actually as far as I know they just get reservations bc they are also short in staff. The only thing that I will probably point is a the price, I felt it was a little too much but I guess that is an option.

What a cute and authentic location. Perfect for an afternoon tea or a quick lunch. They have a full variety of freshly baked items and teas to choose from. I love it for a quick afternoon break or lunch with some friends. The scones are to die for and so are the crumpets! A little tucked away, but worth the adventure to find!

Tiny human: I give it 5 stars. It's not their fault I don't like tea in general. Teen-aged human: 5 stars. Everything was good and the staff was really nice.

Located in Old World this is a quaint place for a spot of tea. Pleasant service that will let you relax and enjoy your visit. We had the "Afternoon Tea" which consisted of 2 scone biscuits (4/10 for density) with a dabble of jam and cream, salad (6/10 for taste and presentation) with a super thick creamy dressing, potato chips, and your choice of 2 tea sandwiches (8/10 for cucumber and cream cheese and cashew chicken). You also receive your own tea pot with choice of tea. I had the Christmas in a Cup one that had a hint of cinnamon (4/10). Overall a nice place to visit and enjoy. Moderately priced.

My best friend lives in Long Beach and any time I visit her we usually go out for afternoon tea, so I've been slowly trying all the places in the area. We hadn't done a ton of advanced planning, so I was looking for a place that had same day availability for a party of three and after calling around Pamela's was able to fit us in. I was a little nervous after reading some of the reviews however we had a lovely experience overall. There might not be as many "frills" as other tea parlors but the food was good, there were several teas to choose from and the staff was friendly and attentive. I also loved that they had a little store section at the back of the shop with all british goods. The location was nice as it was in a shopping village however the parking in the lot was quite limited on a Sunday afternoon so I would alot some extra time for parking during peak hours.

STEPH JUDGEMENT: Pleasant place for a relaxing spot of tea. I have a friend who loves high tea, and she suggested this place for lunch. I hadn't been to Old World in ages and had no idea where this place was, and ended up walking around the whole place before finally spotting it. We both decided on the high cream tea ($36 as of this writing), which came with the following; Soup du jour: Potato leek soup with a tiny piece of bread--piping hot and good 2 tea sandwiches: salmon salad and egg salad with cucumber (yummy), served with potato chips (crisps) and salad (the lackluster bagged variety). The salad dressing is this super-thick creamy honey mustard thing called Salad Cream, which was all right. Two Scones that were dense but flaky, served with clotted cream and jam. The interior was cozy and pleasant, and quite busy on the day we went. The service was a bit harried but fine overall, especially after the lunch rush. We had a nice time relaxing and lingering with our tea. Afterwards we perused their little market section with all manner of British goodies. If you're in the mood for a British high tea, this is a pretty good spot.

A aromatic pad filled with spices so when your hot mug sits on it, the spices will smell heavenly.

Our first tea at Pamela's. My friend and I have enjoyed tea at many, many tea houses all around Orange County for the holidays. Just found out Old World Village had Pamela's so of course we needed to try it out. My friend made reservations for a Saturday at Noon. We arrived and they were ready for us. There were other large and small parties already seated. The ambiance isn't anything fancy, just a real English tea house. However the service and personalities of Pamela, the owner and other servers were awesome!! Pamela and the server from Ireland were delightful!! We bought the high noon tea for $36 which included our choice of tea, small side salad or soup de jour which was either tomato bisque or oxtail soup on the day we visited. Both were delicious bc I didn't think I'd like the oxtail, but my girlfriend decided to try it and I got a little taste and OMGosh, super tasty. Apparently Pamela's husband makes it from scratch. Also you get to choose two different types of sandwiches (which equal about 1 full small sandwich). I chose the chicken cashew and ham & cheese which both were tasty but I would have preferred something other than ham & cheese. It was just okay. My girlfriend is gluten intolerant and she was thrilled they had gluten free bread and scones. She very much enjoyed the cashew chicken and egg salad but called egg mayonnaise. Her sandwich was served open face and equalled 1/2 of sandwich. Lastly it came with two scones apiece, clotted cream and jam. The cream was a butter consistency. I would have to say, I wasn't a huge fan of it but add the name to it and it was much better. The servers were great at checking back with us even though they were extremely busy running. Always loved chatting with Pamela and the Ireland server (I'm sorry we didn't get her name). Again super kind and friendly!! The tea house has a small market to buy various foods from England plus gift items and loose tea and tea bags for purchase. Parking at Old World Village wasn't a problem but then again we went early. They also have dining outside on their back patio or in front of the tea house. It was busy and constant with people coming and going. Definitely a lovely experience and I would love to enjoy it again. ps. only 1 bathroom

Tea sandwiches. Cucumber cream cheese, ham and cheese, egg salad, tuna. Camera is VERY close. Makes sandwiches look much bigger

They have a lot of potential but they need some help. The positive experience was their selection of teas. We got to try at least five different flavors and they were constantly refilling the teapots. Five stars for that. We just had a group tea there this morning and no one was impressed with the food. We started off with four tiny tea sandwiches and a little salad. The portions should have been bigger or at least an interesting tea sandwich. They were cucumber&cream cheese, tuna, egg salad, ham and cheese. Boring! The dressing for the salad tasted like Hellman's mayonnaise mixed with lemon juice. Nobody liked it. The desserts were a nice selection But again the portions were way too small. A little square of cheesecake, a quarter of a strawberry, a tiny lemon square, and a scone with jam and clotted cream. The clotted cream was overmixed and it had the consistency of butter. There's not a lot of space inside so we were kind of squished together. I will say that their grocery section in the back where you can purchase some specialty items was cute but they should utilize that space for more tables to eat. We all left hungry and were looking for another restaurant to eat at.

Located in Old World Village, this British tea room made a fun afternoon w friends for a birthday party. They have soups, salads, crumpets, scones, sandwiches, and lots of teas to choose from. I liked the lemon posset (special) dessert , Pamela's tea and Peach Apricot tea (this one was the group's favorite). My friends also enjoyed their scones, sandwiches (salmon, Coronation chicken, cucumber, curry). They do wish that everyone who attends orders some sort of meal be it small or big. If coming on a weekend, definitely make a reservation especially if with a group. @grace.loves.socal #grace.loves.adventures

What a delightful afternoon we had!! The ladies here are lovely people and I felt like we were having tea at their home, not at a business establishment. Tea was nice. Soup, salad and sandwiches were delicious. Scones were amazing!!

While the first few visits were for their coffee drinks, it wasn't until they brought in the MAMA Latte that we started getting addicted. The drink is quite pricey, but it's one of the best matcha drinks I've personally had. It packs a punch of flavor, but is also smooth and creamy at the same time. My wife has also started trying their other variations such as the Cookie Butter Matcha and Creme Brulee Matcha (she enjoys the former one a lot). The lines are still long but definitely worth the wait. Will definitely be back!

But, Brew Story stands out for a few reasons: 1. Parking is easy and free in this strip mall. For me, this is a huge perk. 2. There's just so many options here that even if I always want to get the black sesame soft top matcha (which I do) there's always something new to try. 3. Lots of seating! Why do some places have like 1-2 tables? I want to sit and relax or do work and stay a while (and btw will order another drink while I do so)! There's a long table here for big groups, a few smaller ones, a more loungey area and a counter with bar stools. The one thing you might not love about this spot if you're used to a quick mobile order and pick up with no wait coffee situation is that it is a bit of a wait. I wouldn't come here if you're in a rush. Other than that, it's a great spot to enjoy a yummy pastry and flavored latte.

Not many places offer this combination, so whenever I see it on a menu, I have to try it. What I really liked about this one is how well balanced it is. The earl grey is light enough that it doesn't overpower the matcha, so you can actually taste both flavors clearly without one taking over the other. The Hojicha Vanilla Cream Latte was also really good. The cream on top was silky, smooth, and rich, adding a nice layer of sweetness that paired well with the roasted, nutty flavor of the hojicha.
