There aren't a lot of loose leaf tea stores around, so I'm lucky to have found this one! I came in to find different teas for my bridesmaids. I love how each tea came with a description on what it literally was and then some a nice blurb with a feeling or moment that can also describe it. The woman who owned the store was very helpful- she was perfect with offering suggestions but then leaving me to meander around. Additionally, they also have a back area that you can rent out to do events for like a little tea party/bridal event/etc. I think it can only fit maybe 12 or so people? So a more intimate gathering. I love this place. The owner is amazing and even does podcasts. My husband came here for a tea to help him sleep and she recommended "good night tea" and it is such a fantastic tea. It works great! I take it with my husband now and we both sleep so well. I asked the owner about headaches and she recommended Celtic Sea Salt and told us all about how to use it. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this quaint shop! Everything is laid out nicely. Vidya was warm and welcoming. She is VERY knowledgeable. She explained how the teas are organized. She was able to answer our many questions such as which tea to get for which ailment and how to use it. She will tell you precisely what to do with each bag. The bags are nice and small so we can try many things to see what we like. There are small canisters with each tea container so you can smell the tea. I'm a picky tea drinker and I honestly haven't found teas that can compare. They are delicious and full of flavor. When I've served them to guests, everyone is very pleased with the flavors. The tea selection is huge and the varieties are vast. During my last visit, I was looking for a tea to help with a medical issue I'm experiencing and there were plenty of teas to choose from. My Aunt & I recently visited this cute little shop. It's has everything related to tea. You name it, it has it. The tea is so delicious. I bought the Chai Rooibus and the Pina Colada. The Pina colada smells so good, I could eat it as trail mix. In fact, I did have a nibble and it was delicious. The owner Vidya taught us how to properly smell the tea and how to cleanse before moving onto the next. Vidya is one of the most real and honest people I've ever met. She's the kind of person I want in my corner. She keeps it real. Laguna Beach needs more Vidyas. One of a kind! A little tea oasis with a large selection of high-quality loose teas from a variety of origins! I discovered this little gem strolling down PCH and found many amazingly fragrant teas. I had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with Kavita, one of the owners, who was so personable and clearly loves what she does! The Caramel Walnut Cookie, one of their dessert teas, is delicately sweet with a subtle 'warm', nutty taste. It is delicious any time of the day. Especially after dinner, as it suggests in the description, it does "...curb a trip to the dessert table". I will be back and highly recommend a visit. read more
