They have a policy that you can't tan within 24 hours. I showed up with less than 30 minutes of my 24 hour period and they said i would need to wait around before i can't tan. That's ridiculous if you're paying to tan and they will not let you. I understand the situation of 24 hours but they should be able to waive it if it's less than 30 minutes. They didn't even apologize they both looked at me with blank faces. Ridiculous. read more

Not sure what word to use for this experience... Weirdest? Worst? I was in the Anaheim area from out of town on an overnight business trip. Found this Palm Beach location, and because I am a member, thought I'd pop in for a session. The girl couldnt find me in the system, and made me pull up the number, on my own phone, of my hometown location, so they could call and verify me. After that, apparently it wasnt a problem finding me. I then asked to buy a single packet of lotion (because obviously, I was from out of town, traveling light, and wouldn't have a bottle with me). She told me they do not sell packets, but that I could buy a whole bottle if I wanted. I asked what people do who come in without their bottles... She told me "they dont". Wow, ok. The 20 minute bed I was put in was the smallest, most old-school 1990's bed I've ever used. So small and unbelievably basic, it didnt have anything to it except a timer on the outside. If you are a Palm Beach member, do yourself a favor and find a different location in the area. Not going to get much out of this one. read more

This location is very clean, great customer service, nice staff & manager! Every time I walk in I get greeted by name. Prices are good too!!

The people at the front desk are always nice and welcoming. Aside from the inside individual rooms needing a facelift, it is pretty clean. I have been coming here for a couple years now, and it's easy peasy. I opt for the level 2 package. Their stand up is considered a level 2 but it has stronger bulbs in it. I'd only upgrade to diamond or platinum if I was going on vacation. I've been in those beds. They're nice and all, but a bit overkill tbh. If you want to maintain a nice glow, get the level 2 membership. It's $55/mo unlimited tanning read more

Update: this place has gone way down hill. I can't believe how much they charge. So $40 for a month of spray tanning sounds good right?!! Ok no. You have to pay extra for bronzers which is almost 10 dollars so prob another $40 a month. You can go to totally tanning across the street for the same amount and not have to extra for bronzers or whatever else for $40 a month. And way better customer service. I decided I had enough of this place when I went to go get a $10 spray tan Monday which if you do dark it's an extra 11.50 plus bronzer is like another $9 and again instead of paying 32 I can go across the street to totally tanning for $25. Most the girls especially the managers have major attitude. I spoke with Daniel I think was her name. She was hardly any help. Rude and very unprofessional. Then the lotions are a ridiculous $70 for the cheapest and they are constantly trying to sell you on something that I actually had them write a note in my account to not try to sell me on something every time I go in. Also the $15 tanning beds are awful and don't even tan. I tan very easily and I get nothing in these beds. I was a member for a very long time and they always seem to upset me. I canceled once before but this time I will never go back. If you like bad customer service and over priced tanning this place is for you. I've been going here for my spray tans for a long time now. The girls are great and the price is right for the spray tan membership. The only thing I would change there definitely need another mystic tan booth for this store. The spray tanning machines have been down way too many times this summer. Both machines were down for the entire weekend this past August 11-13. When the Mystic is down, they offer the Versa and then want to charge you more. NOT OK. On Saturday, when told the Mystic was down, I waited an hour for the Versa only to be told it broke. On Sunday, I called and was put on hold for six minutes. I then called back and was asked if I would mind waiting again and I said No. I simply asked if the machines were working, and was told yes. By the time I went in two hours later, they were both broken and unavailable again. I went to two events without a tan in the middle of summer. I know it sounds like a first world problem, but this is what I pay a monthly membership fee. I understand there will be waits, but I expect this salon to keep its equipment in good working order and to replace it when needed so that it is available to paying members. Their solution is "tan dollars" which are useless to me as I am not going to by their overpriced products. My solution is do regular maintenance on your equipment. Replace it. Something. Don't leave your young employees alone (there never seems to be a manager on the premises) to deal with this difficult situation and angry customers. And quit sending emails like the one I got today w/ the subject "We'll Keep this Short and Sweet: Upgrade and Save." How about you upgrade so that your services and equipment are available to your customers?! read more

I came in 2 times. The first time they had a 2 hour wait and they knew my age but didn't mention that I needed a consent form. The 2nd time they told me about it finally and my mom had to come in a total inconvenience. As for the spray tan it was set at $16 but I somehow payed $26? The staff is nice & knowledgeable but always seems like only 1 on schedule who is struggling to check in, clean, set up and do all the newbie orientations and membership sign ups. Shifts need MINIMUM 2 ppl. Plus beds r frequently down. Always 4 ppl in line. Grrrr. Not happy with new hours or how long it takes to get in for a spray or bed. They need 2 Mystic booths. It was my first time tanning but I needed to build a tan for my trip to Mexico and the associate was very helpful in picking out the best price package for me. I feel bad I don't remember her name but she worked Tuesday in the morning. I don't usually bed tan but she told me there was no contracts so that's nice too. First called to obtain basic information on pricing & tanning, as I was seeking the whole tanning experience. The employee was kind and informative and invited me to stop in which I did. Upon arrival, had to wait about 15 plus min to let her know I just called & yes here I am to pay for my one month deal they were having. The employee stated I'll need to "sign up" I let her know I'd rather pay and not have auto debit, she refused & stated it is the policy in using their services that you have to have auto debit?! Um I had cash or debit card to pay up front and did not want auto debit, it really sounded bad for a business to force someone to sign up with their debit card and be on and automatic payment. I let her know that I did not want to do that that I never do auto payment for anything and I would never want to do that for this and she continued to say that she would have to call their corporate and ask she tried but nobody answered and then she helped a customer and then went to the back and about 2 seconds later came back and said oh I just called our district office and they said that It was the policy and I would have to be on auto debit payment?!?!? How freaking ridiculous is that you have someone that is new coming into your business attempting to use your services and pay and could potentially turn into a long-term customer, but refuse to allow me to pay and forcing somebody to go on auto debit payment?!?! That is terrible!!!!! I let the employee know that was okay that I would take my business elsewhere and left. I also noticed people were waiting for extended periods of time to use their beds, so maybe overall it's better to not use their services because maybe you won't be able to get a bed & wait times appeared to be long! I started coming here around a year ago to this location for spray tans. Every time I go it's about a 45min to an hour wait and there's only 2 people ahead of me and it's because they only have one machine! For a high volume location you should consider taking appointments for spray tans so you spread people out or investing in more than one spray tan machine. Cancelling my membership ! read more

Don't go here, they will sell you the WRONG lotion, and also say " you can bring it back if there is any problem" when you find out the MANAGER sold you a sunless tanning lotion and you bring it back, they will tell you "sorry we don't accept refunds".
