I can't say enough good things about Mayra and 24 Karat Glow! As someone who'd never had any kind of tanning before, I was nervous to try it right before my boudoir photoshoot (another first for me). Mayra was so sweet and patient with me during the appointment, explaining everything and making me feel so comfortable. She provided me with all of the prep info necessary ahead of time and it was super easy to find her suite off Imperial. I wasn't sure if I was going to do totally nude tanning, but felt comfortable enough after meeting her and chatting in her studio to do so--and I'm so glad I did! The tan itself turned out perfectly. I described my ideal look to her (lightly sun-kissed, since I'm pretty pale) and she totally nailed it! The tanning itself took about half an hour; she was super thorough and covered all of my insecure places so thoughtfully. Since I had an uneven tan, I told her I just wanted to even my body out since I had different tan lines going on. After discussing, she decided medium would be best for me.
