Like others on this page, I was told I could not cancel over the phone (WTF not????), so I went in and canceled, signed a few docs, was offered this and that instead but I said no. Fast forward to nearly 2 months later - some girl calls me and says my credit card is not going through (a tactic I'm sure they use all the time). I told them I cancelled which they responded that I had only frozen my account and this could no longer stay frozen, a $7 fee, something ridiculous like that. I was having NONE OF IT. I told her, NO NO NO, I cancelled and you know it! I'm not playing any of your games. She had said that I needed to come back in to cancel again, and I said no. My credit card wasn't working and had not been charged anything because I had completely and totally cancelled, she was just trying to get more money, retain me, whatever. If you arrive 10 minutes before closing and the owner isn't at the desk, they will turn you away (for a 7min tan). In the fine print under the posted hours on their door, it states 'last tan 15 minutes before close.' So if you rush over after work thinking you've made it in time, you're out of luck. Maybe others are fine with this policy, but it makes no sense to me. If you stop taking customers 15 minutes before your posted closing time, then your hours should reflect that so people aren't misled. I've never had another business do this, so it's unexpected.
