We love to support local black businesses, and often try & frequent a few ... My appointment was made 3 weeks in advance , and also with one of the spa owners in particular... Upon arrival, the greeting at the desk was truly funny when I later thought about it .. A stand off type of female checked me in , it was not cooled for the summer heat in the establishment & location was on a busy street with little to desire after parking and entering a small office like building .. I was there for two services .. And told I would be put with someone I did NOT schedule with.. These things mean something to customers that frequent nice spa's & places that we pay good money at.. I asked for the woman I scheduled with .. Half way through the service she tells me . I have to run soon . I did not no this would run over In time ,for what u wanted ... Reschedule for your other service please I'm on her table thinking Wow, I support businesses that carry themselves the way they portray everything, whether it's social media or just generally by word-of-mouth! No lie she left before I was fully dressed.. The second Service that she asked me to reschedule was for over an hour.. When I was paying the same face at the reception desk, said do you wanna reschedule that other service for a different day? Ha! No girl.... I paid and got out of there quicker than lightning... definitely disappointed, and feeling like in 2021 we should be doing a lot better. I don't believe everything you say on social media .. Terrible over hyped .. Particles of wax remained on my body, the service was fair at best. Will not return

It was a shared package and they failed to mention your 1st month isn't prorated to the day you sign up. Paid April 15th and again on May 1. My friend stopped in around 8:15 for a spray tan and they told her they already took it apart! They finally agreed to let her tan but didn't put the nozzles on correctly. It came out like a nose and left huge dark blotches. She left immediately and they would not refund her for the extra services. When she returned the next day they charged her again. The wet sauna is a joke. They advertise 20 minutes. The timer is running while you undress. It takes a good 5 minutes to get to the heat needed and then cuts off with 5 minutes left. They constantly check for eyewear which is good. The ones they sell for $8 are cheap. They snap in half after 2 uses. After the wedding I eased up because my pool is open and I am outside a lot and very dark. Went today and because I had not been recently they cut my time back to 5 minutes. The girls that work there are very young but the turnover is huge. Always a new face. There must be a better game in this town!

I booked my appointment for 4/24 at 6:30pm. It took me 32 minutes to get here, including finding parking. I walked to the door and realized no one was at the location. I knocked, and called several times, NO Answer!!! After the fifth call, I finally got a text message. The message basically stated that she had an emergency and could not do my appointment. I did not receive a phone call or a text message telling me this prior to getting to the business. Then you text me instead of answering the phone. Very unprofessional!!! I expressed that no one even contacted me before coming here. I would love not to have driven here and burn gas, because gas is not cheap!!! She said that she did NOT have my number saved and could not reach me, but I made the appointment just the day prior and she asked me for my number so whose fault is that? I honestly think she messed up, and got her days mixed up when she booked my appointment, because on her door the hours of operation for today are from 10 AM to 5 PM, remind you she made my appointment for 630pm. I also noticed that any other day she usually opens till 8 o'clock so I believe she just blatantly forgot about me based on this..... Nevertheless, she's unprofessional, and I will not go back to her, and I will not recommend her!!!

Deceitful business practices and poor customer service. Unfortunately, after coming to this…read moreestablishment on and off for approximately six years, I will not be returning. I initially started coming here because it is close to my home, usually for a brow wax and pedicure. I eventually stopped getting pedicures here because my gel polish consistently began chipping after about a week. However, I was short on time and decided to make an exception. When asked which pedicure I wanted, I specifically requested the Classic Pedicure, advertised in the service book provided to me at $25. I added callus removal, advertised at $11, and requested gel polish. I understand that gel polish is an additional charge and fully expected to pay an upcharge. What I did NOT expect was for a $36 pedicure before the gel upcharge to somehow become $67. When I questioned the total, I specifically asked the older woman at the counter which pedicure service I had been charged for and how much the gel polish upcharge was. Rather than simply itemizing the charges, she responded with clear irritation and told me that a gel pedicure is $40. That explanation still does not account for the total. If the gel pedicure is $40 and callus removal is $11, that equals $51. Even after adding their 2.5% card fee, the total should be approximately $52.28, not $67. I wasn't asking for a discount or refusing to pay. I simply wanted to understand what I was being charged for. A customer should be able to ask for an itemized explanation of a bill without being met with irritation, especially when the final price differs substantially from the advertised services. If there was another $14-$15 charge, no one explained what it was. Businesses should clearly communicate their prices and additional charges before performing a service, and customers should not have to do detective work afterward to figure out why their bill is significantly higher than expected. After six years of patronizing this business, this experience was enough for me to take my business elsewhere.

I got a French pedicure with gel polish. It turned out exactly how I wanted. I was offered a bottle of water. When it was time for my nails, the lady that did my pedicure sat me down to begin. Shortly after buffing my nails, she explained she needed to take another customer who I assumed to be her regular/appointment customer. While I didn't appreciate being booted to the side, I waited patiently for several minutes before asking someone else who was going to be doing my nails because I had another appointment elsewhere for my lashes and brows. I explained to the next lady what I wanted (French manicure like my toes but with a cateye base) she confirmed she could do it. I also let her know I needed to be out of here by 6. I appreciated her diligence with getting me out by 610pm but my nails weren't exactly how I pictured or what I showed in the picture as an example. I did not have time to get them corrected as I had other appointments for my engagement photoshoot the next day. The nails were pretty and the people were nice but when you pay $150 for services, you hope for them to be exactly how you want. I would try this place again but maybe with a simpler design concept (even though I think some people are capable of detailed designs because I noticed the lady's nails next to mine looked very good)
