I have been in Baltimore city for 5 years and nothing compares to the quality of tanning service that Harbor Lights Tanning Studio offers. Do not waste your time and money on any other tanning salon in Baltimore city. They will either require you to bring your own eye wear or have tanning beds that probably haven't changed their bulbs since they opened. What I like about Harbor Lights is the outstanding customer service and the quality of beds. It is such a friendly place; the staff always have a smile on their face and like to get to know you. The owner, Carol is an absolute sweetheart and takes a lot of pride in her studio. She is also up on the latest trends in tanning, techniques and offers an amazing selection of lotions, jewelry and candles. I tan here weekly (a little less in the summer) and I never have to wait for a bed. The place is always clean, organized and full of beautiful things to look at. You can also top your tan off with a sweet treat - a box of candy is there to entice you. read more

This place is awesome!! I have psoriasis and acne and by the third or fourth week of going and getting UV and Red Light sessions i'm almost completely cleared up. Over the years i've tried everything from acne creams to homeopathic remedies. Just coming here has completely changed my skin and my energy levels. I recommend going a few times a week to see results fast. Within the first week I saw major results and now i'm still seeing them. The tanning is also spot on. My skin color is much darker and my skin is much clearer and more defined. I would recommend getting their tanning lotions they sell there. The staff is also so kind and generous! Carol is amazing and will help you with everything. There is such a chill atmosphere there and the services they offer are great. Don't miss out on this place :) read more

I have been tanning for the past 8 years and this is by far the BEST tanning salon I have ever been to. There are five different beds, a spray tan, and a bed that reduces fine lines, wrinkles, and cellulite. I use the high-pressure matrix bed once a week and I am very tan. At my previous salon I would need to go at least twice/week. I have also used the "mystic" spray tan and it is awesome! My color lasted for a few days longer than expected and it wore off evenly. The prices are very reasonable and if you follow/like their Instagram or Facebook page they offer a ton of awesome promotions and discounts. I would definitely recommend this tanning salon to any and all of my friends! read more

I started to give up; however, I am so glad I didn't because that level of exclusivity is exactly what you want during a full on pandemic. Let me explain. Appointments are selectively scheduled to ensure there are no more than a few people in the salon at once. When you arrive to get nails done, it's quite possible that you may have a room to yourself :) and everything from the client services to the ambiance is exceptional. COVID practices: when you arrive (appointments only), they open the door for you, check your temperature, ask you to sanitize your hands, and give you a sanitizing wipe your clean your phone (as you'll be touching it often). They offer you a bottle of water or a glass of champagne, wine, or mimosa. Yasssss! Now, you will immediately be taken into another, fun, light, vacation-like experience by the detailed decór. It's so beautiful the way the owners put so much love and attention into curating each part of your experience. You feel like this moment was crafted JUST for you. The nail specialist that I worked with, Kyra (pronounces KI-Ra) was full of light, love, energy, and offered therapeutic vibes. She really took her time to get to know me and understand more than what I wanted for nails, but how my nail journey complimented my life. I felt a true caring about who I was as a person.
