Fabulous long time tanning boutique in Riviera Beach. This place is awesome. It's always clean and smells so good. I've probably been going there for two years but yesterday I needed some vitamin D for my mental health not just a tan. Yelp says they're open until four on Sundays, but I found out that was wrong when I saw the lights were out and I didn't even make it to the door when I headed back to my car. That's when a little voice yelled out hello. . She told me they closed at three, but she would let me come tan anyway even though it was 308. She must've seen that I really needed some sunshine. I felt so much better walking out then when I walked in. So, if you're looking for a great place to tan where the people are fabulous and the prices are awesome, this is your place. The prices are EXTREMELY reasonable, the discounts they offer are incredible, & the kindness the owner & her employees send you in and out with is..to say the least..astonishing. Supporting small locally owned businesses is so important to me- especially ones who take the time to get to know you, your needs/wants out of the experience, & alas ending with the fact that literally every week I walk away fully satisfied. I'll never go to another salon. And, for the past year or two- I can honestly say I've stayed loyal due to the kindness of the staff and the cleanliness & also products they sell/beds they have that are MORE THAN reasonably priced. :-) ! I just stopped by to check out your monthly packages so I could sign up and start tanning this weekend. From the great reviews, I was looking forward to your assistance in selecting a spray and bed monthly package. Anyone know if they have one? Lol The hours said 9pm online and I pulled up at 8pm to get info. I walked up to the door and the pretty lady behind the glass gave me a look as if I were stupid and they were closed... I'm leaving five stars because i only want to share what just happened and I see there are a lot of happy customers from other reviews. It's certainly okay to be closed early if business is slow, during a pandemic ... totally understandable. Maybe update your hours on your website to avoid unwanted visitors. A gesture and a look is worth a thousand words. Maybe the establishment is usually super illuminated and I should have known they were closed? Hard to say since I've never been there. Awesome place Loooved the variety of beds and levels. Many to choose from. I'm going on vacation in a week and need a base tan. I got the 5 tan, level 3 package for 42$ which are stand up beds. Definitely worth it. After just 10 mins in the bed, I'm already visibly 2 shades darker .. Not having been out in the sun, or tanning salon in over a year,WOW what a difference. Never had results this fast and I still have 4 tans left...Ladies were awesome and very friendly. Highly recommend you try this one! read more

So I went in for my first tan based on a Facebook add. I was pleasantly greeted by the owner. I told her I didn't know what I was doing since I had never tanned indoors. She was kind enough to walk me through everything! I felt comfortable and at ease about everything after her explanation. She was not pushy trying to up sell. She was very genuine and kind. I love the people at Sunset Tanning Salon! They are so friendly and make me feel welcomed every time I come in. I am pretty fair skinned, and they took the time to talk to me about what I needed and helped me choose a spray tan for my wedding. The spray tan looked awesome! I was a little nervous since they had to personally do the spray, but the girl was really sweet and made me feel comfortable. I cannot say enough good things about them! read more

I would give this place zero stars if I could. If anyone was thinking about going to Sunset Tanning salon, my personal suggestion would be to not give Michelle (the owner) your business. I have never met a "business professional" who would take a customer outside and tell them to "go f*** themselves". I have been going there for a little over a month and every time I've ever interacted with her shes been nothing but rude. I don't usually write reviews but I was highly put off by the reaction of this woman. I was cursed at multiple times and treated unprofessionally. The fact that even as a customer she doesn't appreciate my business says alot about the running of this salon. I'm still awfully disturbed by my encounter and definitely would NOT give this place your money or business. read more
