Khanh made me a believer in the benefits of acupuncture! She's the only person I've ever been excited to see knowing I'd be poked with needles!! My first experience with acupuncture (elsewhere) left me skeptical...after months of treatments I never noticed a difference in my health. I only kept going to the appointments for additional treatments I was receiving, and stopped once those were completed. Fast forwarding a couple years...my integrated physician instructed me to seek acupuncture treatment for hormone balancing. I'm likely peri-menopausal (41), but was having several women's health issues. Being skeptical from seeing the previous practitioner, I waited several months before making an appointment. I didn't know where to go or whom to see. But when Aunt Flo failed to visit during my last cycle, I knew it was time. Coincidentally, I had recently received a call from the owner, Stacie, inviting me to come in to her newly opened wellness center. (Side note, Stacie's a fantastic aesthetician whom I previously saw for waxings before she opened her own business). I value Stacie's work ethics and holistic approach, and asked her about acupuncture, which brings me back to Khanh. At my first appointment with Khanh, we had a long discussion about health concerns and goals with acupuncture, and documented my health conditions. By the end of our conversation I felt extremely comfortable with Khanh. She has a warm welcoming smile, thoroughly listens, and genuinely cares about healing her clients. I was 16 days past due for a visit from Aunt Flo at that first appointment...no joke, she showed up 5 hours after I left the appointment! Khanh had also inserted needles for other ailments, and I could feel the blocked energy flowing through those needle sites, and a settling of sensations at others (forehead needle for migraines) while resting. I left with a pure sense of calm. Stacie's Natural Touch is a 25 minute drive for me, and 100% worth my time in the car! Let's start off by explaining why I chose Reiki. The wiser I get I have chosen to heal through natural means, which is why I initially decided to try Reiki. If I was to try to describe it to you, Reiki is like acupuncture without needles. Upon meeting Sangita I immediately felt like I was talking to a friend. She has an amazing bedside manner. During our conversation I voiced the many concerns I had. Sangita was able to make recommendations on methods to solve all of these issues. While actually performing the Reiki treatment as she went over my trouble spots (i.e. Injured Shoulder and Lungs), I felt a heartbeat/energy. That is the best way I can describe it. Sangita laid out a plan for me to follow at home to progress my journey between appointments. She has not only helped me physically, but also emotionally. My third appointment is this Saturday and I can honestly say I am truly looking forward to it. I've been going to different nail salons trying to find the perfect one, with no avail, until I came here! This place is wonderful. While they don't have the color selection of your typical nail salon, they also don't have the headache inducing fumes. As a wellness spa, everything is clean and non-toxic. I got a pedicure yesterday and it was the best. Stacie used a disposable empty board type file on my callouses instead of those cheese graters that you know never get cleaned Even so, my feet are crazy smooth! She used a thick cream on my legs that was lightly scented and gave me a couple choices. It was wonderful. I also had a wax done here a couple weeks ago and had a similarly wonderful experience. I had my first visit with Myron last week for a 90 minute massage with hot stones. I can honestly tell you that I didn't want it to end. I'd only heard good things about Myron to begin with but I can say that he lives up to his reputation. When I went in I had considerable shoulder and arm pain from the way I have to sit at my desk for 9 hours a day 5 days a week. And my left knee which is need of being replaced. When I walked out of there, I didn't have any pain or discomfort any place. I intend to go back and make it a "habit" rather than a "treat" for myself. I have been seeing Stacie for a couple of years and was so excited to hear she opened her own place. She is seriously the wax queen! I was able to visit yesterday and the place is amazing. It's beautiful! I love the decorations and the awesome chandelier in Stacie's spa room. It's clean, beautifully decorated and you feel relaxed as soon as you walk in. Not to mention, the location is easy to access. The spa has multiple levels; however there are rooms on the first floor to accommodate clients who may not be able to do stairs. I have had several services done there so yes!!!!! I've been back to to the rating the facial was excellent very detailed almost like a massage if that sounds right. First of all this place is amazing...ok!!! it's very neat and clean and smells amazing. Every detail detail, from the flooring to the furniture is amazing. Myron is absolutely amazing!!! First, the oils used are not your typical spa scent but smell awesome. This was the most relaxing massage I have ever had.
