I work hand in hand with the Retail Shippers Associates and I get paid to visit all types of shipping stores and review them internally. Every once in a while a shipping store blows my mind with how great it is. This was one of those times. This Pak Mail store is a standout in customer service and amenities. From all of my packing needs and they even had very funny greeting cards to send along with the gift I was sending. I bought a few extras for myself. I actually visited this store twice within a week while I was on vacation with my wife in Tucson. Robert was unbelievably friendly and helpful the first time. And on my second visit, he remembered my name. He must be the owner, because he took unbelievable pride in what he did. There was another man there too. His name was Brian, I believe. I observed him helping a woman who had a hundred questions -- he answered each one as though it was the first question she had asked. I'm a nice guy and I would have had a hard time with her. Kudos to Brian for being such a nice guy. If Brian or Robert don't own this store, they should each own their own. I give them the highest marks. Recently moved from Tucson to the east coast- Worked with the PakMail team to palletize for the move- They were great! We sold our furnished house and only needed to move household goods- We didn't require a uhaul- which would have been quite costly for rental, gas- not to mention dangerous as the drive entailed strong winds, rain, snow and hauling at high speed with 18 wheelers- We didn't require a pod- which also would have added up financially- Pallets allow you to ship roughly a 4x7 ft amount of goods- We mocked up the dimensions at home- and used our large tupperware storage bins from the garage- Brian, Robert and Julio were all great to work with- timely with response- They provided the expertise and instruction that we needed to make it feasible. They palletized the goods once we got them to the warehouse. They can pick everything up from you if you need to have it picked up at your house- They were trustworthy- and I was happy to support their business It was definitely the most affordable, efficient, effective and safe way to move household goods across the country- Thanks PakMail! read more

I would like to say that while visiting Tucson AZ I had a lot of items to ship back to NYS desk, tables, lamps, chest, etc. My husband found Pak Mail and called. They were very nice and gave us a great deal, explained how the process works. They came to my grandparents home and picked up the items. They packaged all items together. When they arrived in NYS (New York State), in a timely manner, they were in contact all the way through. The items arrived and when I opened the boxes everything was in one piece, packaged and wrapped separately, they did a great job. Nothing was broke, cracked or missing. My items are memories from my grandparents and I was happy that everything arrived together and in one piece. I used Pak Mail to ship some furniture and other small goods. They were amazing - so customer oriented and friendly. They packaged the items extremely well...I was impressed. There was just one glitch with the freight company ABF. There was some misunderstanding between Pak Mail and ABF. ABF wasn't very nice about it even though Pak Mail handled it quickly. ABF's people were extremely good (customer rep and delivery man) however their delivery rules and administration are not customer friendly. They only deliver to certain areas on certain days and certain times. Because of the misunderstanding they also sent some not so nice letters to me threatening to start charging for storage even though they never notified anyone (me or Pak Mail) that there was a problem. So Pak Mail - kudos, but ABF thumbs down for their lack of customer service rules and administration. read more

In late 2022 we decided to sell our house in Tucson Arizona and move to Annapolis Maryland to be closer to him and his family. We had a large collection of family heirlooms coming to us from our grandparents. This included two large wooden chests. One came from Sweden from our paternal grandfather. The other came from Pennsylvania from our maternal Grandfather. Each chest was heavy and too large to fit in our car. Both chests were packed with other family items. PaK Mail came to the house with a truck to pick up the chests. They wrapped to protect them and family members in New Orleans and Milledgeville Georgia. Everything arrived in good condition. I was passing through Tucson on my way to Phoenix and I popped in and asked if they had postcards and was treated so well I felt bad that all I was buying was a postcard. While I was browsing (I had to find just the right one for my daughter, she gets one from all over you see). The whole time, the young man that was working there was so friendly to everyone who came in the door (at least three people did, I was being particular). It was a lot of fun banter and niceties. Felt kinda like I was in an episode of The Andy Griffith show and made me wish there was a spot like this back home. I left and entire drawer fo clothing in my hotel room-I called the hotel several hours later and then was directed to work with Pak Mail as that is who they contracted with for items left behind. Pak Mail went to hotel and obtained my belongings, contacted me several times re status of my shipment, the guy at Pak Mail told me he would do his best to squeeze my items into smallest box possible to keep my costs lower. I received ALL my items packed tightly together in a smaller box than I was quoted and thus my cost ended up even lower than I thought it was going to be. Thought I would avoid Post Office lines at Holiday time to ship 2 packages. Not worth the "convenience fees". One box weighing less than 10lbs, containing $12 in gift.. cost me $30 to send!!! Cost of shipping was $20 and charged $12 for the box when there were boxes for sale there (that my items would have fit in with room to spare) for $6 & $7. Why I was charged $12 for a box I dont know?? I feel taken advantage of. But I do know I will NEVER return there. Will go to Post Office where I know exactly what I will pay, all shipping/boxes are clearly labeled. read more

Pak Mail on Oracle shipped an antique bookcase from Tucson to Seattle for me. The bookcase has double doors on the front with plain glass panels and, at the top of the doors, inset panels of leaded glass. Pak Mail did a terrific job crating, shipping and delivering. It arrived in perfect condition, exactly when they said it would. I had gotten an estimate from them based on just a photo and my description. The bookcase turned out to be heavier than they had anticipated but they honored the estimate. First rate job all around. read more

Very professional and personable staff! We had a USPS Global shipment damaged and returned to us after a month of ambiguous tracking and our customers needed the product for a large conference they were hosting in Singapore.
