Last night 12/11/25, I was in the store to ship a picture and pick up a $400 print job. The woman behind the counter is a huge disservice to this organization. She was rude, aggressive and discourteous. Despite the fact that Ashley, the manager, was on the phone, the woman behind the counter was extremely disrespectful to me. She dropped my print job (1,000 pages) on the floor and then wrinkled pages as she picked it up. The day before I was quoted $173 to ship the picture. This woman quoted me $509 with no explanation as to why the price increased. Needless to say, I will use the UPS store on Thornydale or LaCholla. Fed Ex would also be better. Until business at this store drops significantly, people like her will get away with obnoxious behavior!!!! read more

I walked in on 12/20/25, no crowd. The absolute rudest young woman started off contentiously stating at a yelling pitch, " I can't mail that box, pointing to the smallest box of the three boxes I need to mail, see that symbol it means something hazardous was in it, has a hazard symbol on it and I already saw it, so you can't cross it out, you can buy a box from me or repackage it yourself but I wont take it". I said It was orginally sent with a pair of earing, nothing hazardous, but okay that is fine. She just had a horrible attitude from the jump, fir no reasonShe didn't let up or change her tone, she actually speaks in a yelling tone at me through the entire unnessarily painful experience, as I had 2 other boxes that needed to be shipped for xmas delivery. Read, I tolerated this treatment because I need my boxes shipped for xmas. The was not one ounce of customer service in her. I will drive far out of my way to avoid spending my money here to be treated rudely and disrespectfully by clerk #355568. read more

Do not go to this store expecting an acceptable online passport photo! The photos are full of shadows and the store does not have the USA passport software to check if the photo will be accepted. My photos were denied when I tried to upload them into the passport application and the UPS store refused to refund the charges (double that of Walmart). Go to the Photo Center at Walmart on Cartaro Road. Walmart takes the photo, checks it to make sure it will be accepted, prints out 2 copies and gives you the photo on a USB drive so you can easily upload them into your application, all this for only $11. The UPS manager was so rude. read more

I have used this store many times in the past and they are always rude. No customer skills whatsoever. They consistently want to sell you a box, a strip of tape or over charge you on shipments. My latest experience was an Amazon return item already in a box that it came in. The clerk told me I had to buy one of their boxes to ship it back to Amazon. I tried to explain the box it was in is the box it was shipped to me and it should work being returned. She was very rude and told me I could go elsewhere. I asked who the manager was and a Hispanic girl told me she was. I left and went to another UPS store and had no issues. The clerk was outstanding. They shipped it in the box it came in. I told them my story and they told me the manager was not Hispanic. Playing games with the customer. Will not be returning to this store and will make sure I spread the word. Are they charging customers for unnecessary packaging? Hopefully the franchise owner reads his ratings. read more

I took a bulky package to be returned to Amazon. I'm handicapped and use a Walker which made the carrying of the box impossible. I went in to see if I could Borrow a cart to get the box inside. The young lady behind the counter said she would do better than lending me a cart. We went out to the car and she picked up the 30 lb package (32 x 12 x 15") and we went inside to process the return. There were two lines and about 5 customers. The line moved quickly and everyone was in a good mood with humor abounding. I've used them about 3 times in the last month and was pleased each time. read more

Very disappointed. Once again I write great and bad reviews. This experience was really unnecessary. I use UPS all the time. I'll never go back to this store due to Audrey. I went in, and they said they now charge for taping my box. It's a 1$. I didn't have my wallet on me so I ran to the car, and I found my tape. Audrey already taped my box, but I found my tape. And she still charged me the dollar. It's not my fault she took it into her own hands to tape it up, and not wait for me to come back. Super disappointing. I get it's only 1$. But that's really poor customer service. I'd never charge after someone walked in with tape. Totally unfortunate. I will not go back to that store. My store in Gilbert, is literally the kindest, nicest people and always have great customer service. The right thing to do would have been not to charge me. Since I ran to car and got it, or to have not touched my box until I came back. Really wrong. read more

I can't recall the last time I experienced such consistently bad customer service from a business. This review isn't about just one situation, it is about months of negative experiences. These range from having a notary demand to review a private document with privileged and confidential information when the scope of notary services was strictly for verification of identity and signature; condescending and snarky comments to customers trying to get questions answered about shipping, when clear and helpful information was called for; refusal to accept Amazon returns that weren't in long- ago tossed original shipping boxes (because apparently you're supposed to know to keep the original container before you discover you got the wrong item). Most of these experiences, both my own and those I witnessed, were because one individual there has a lousy, "I'm smarter than you" attitude. And whose first answer has always been, "no, we can't do that." Pretty lazy and unhelpful. After the latest in a string of crappy experiences at this store I went to the store at La Cañada and had a much different experience. With people of good humor, who were interested in helping their customers, and who explained how their processes work, why they need to do what they do, etc. I will never use the Thornydale/Tangerine UPS store again and will be relaying this story to anyone I know who plans to use UPS. read more

Kicked out of UPS Store for Asking an Unmasked Customer to Put on Her Mask! Crazy, Crazy World!!! I went into the UPS Store here, which is very small and had the door closed. There was a customer in the store with her mask hanging down on her neck - not on - and the UPS employee was standing next to her with her mask on. They were no more than 8-12 inches from each other's faces and the unmasked customer was talking to the masked employee. I asked the unmasked customer to please put her mask on, she smirked and didn't. I asked her a couple of more times and then explained she was endangering the employee. At that point, the employee, who I was defending, asked me to leave the store as I was bothering her customer. I was stunned. I hope the franchise owner of this store cares more about the customers than his employees do. read more

I went in the store to return some clothing items to Amazon last week and the guy told me I needed a box for the 3 tops. I got a box and went back to the store today to return them. The same guy was there and after he scanned the first item he said I needed a box for each top I was returning. I questioned him because last week I got the impression I needed just one box. He called a young gal over whom I assume is a manager and she said I needed a box for each item and she could sell me 2 more for $3.99 each. I declined and drove back home, got 2 boxes and went back to the store. The same guy and gal were working and when the guy scanned a second package for return he said I had already returned it so I assumed in the confusion of the previous box conversation, I had picked up the wrong package even though the picture on the item matched what I had in my hand. He retrieved the package he had processed and rescanned it and said that was also already returned. The gal came over to help and said all 3 tops were returned together on the first scan. AND I only needed 1 box, NOT 1 for each item. Neither of them apologized for giving me the incorrect information and my having to drive home to get the additional boxes and return to the store when the box I took in the first time was all that was needed. In the future, I will take any Amazon returns to Whole Foods which is twice as far from my home. read more

Went in a bit ago for a couple copies and waited in line for ab five minutes (no problem) and while I was waiting, another customer came in and left some boxes on the counter. When the female employee was finished with the guy in front of me, she immediately went to this customer and helped him before me. I get that he's probably a lot more of an important customer than me, but the arrogance of the employee to not even acknowledge me before helping the guy who basically cut in line is unacceptable. I'll gladly drive over to Cortaro and get better service. read more

Avoid!!! Owner will send your package back to the sender unauthorized. He is rude and condescending! Go to the UPS store on cortaro instead.. folks there are ALWAYS helpful! In response to Adam: thank you for proving my point publicly! Of course I wouldn't send my package to a dental office! But I'd have my UPS PACKAGE delivered to a UPS STORE! I had my engagement ring overnighted.. I THOUGHT it would be safer picking it up at a UPS store rather than have it delivered and left at my front door. What an annoying experience . Employees are brainless robots. You have to wait in a long line just to grab a box rather than pack your item while you wait. Very inefficient. I pack and seal up my box at the counter while talking to young mr brain dead. After I apply the final piece of tape he asks me if I want to pay them to pack my box. Mic drop. Unbelievable idiocy . Sent a package from this location to an in-state location. Easy right? No. The clerk was completely daft, no tracking was available, and the package never arrived. What happened to UPS? They used to be the standard for moving items worldwide; now you can even trust them to get items from Tucson to Phoenix. Embarrassing. Some of the staff at the store are professional, the majority not so much. They are a franchise and if you want it done properly, just go to a UPS staffed service facility or FedEx. These people clearly don't care and have lost the plot in terms of customer service. read more

Dropped off a USPS package with my other packages. They told me that they take them also. The returned chrome book was never seen again. USPS says they never picked it up. UPS store says they left it for USPS to pick up. No one is able to help after that. There is no record when you drop off the USPS package or what happens to it after that. The return window has closed and someone ended up with a new chrome book paid for by me. read more

If you want to get notary done, do not go here. I have been going here for years, and never had a problem until now. I needed a notary done, and the girl said my signatures didn't EXACTLY match so she wouldn't give me the service. Even though my signatures did match, even on my license. Went to another location, and had no problem with the notary....She was also very rude. Never going her again. read more

I took a title to be notarized at this location. The notary began writing the wrong date, and then wrote over it. When the new owner of the vehicle tried to register the vehicle, the DMV considered this to be invalid because of the altered date, and therefore did not accept it. I then obtained a duplicate title, and returned to the UPS store and told them what happened. They then proceeded to notarize the title a second time, and somehow messed up the date a second time! I then had to return one last time to the DMV for yet another duplicate title. Afterwards, I had the title notarized at Wells Fargo. Do yourself a favor and skip the hassle. Use a notary that respects the importance of doing things correctly the first, or at least second time. I'm sure most people can agree with me that going to the DMV twice in one day is a fate you don't wish on your worst enemies. Wells Fargo is just down the street. Go there instead if you need a notary. read more
