I needed to send some trading cards and my printers ink dried up. This location had everything I needed to succeed. I walked in with a file on my phone and the goods (no package) Left paying $2. Amazing value. read more

Maybe they can't do anything about this part but the cell signal absolutely sucks in this building. Leave your phone in the car. Done expect this location to finalize your shipping, come ready to drop off and bail. The staff are helpful but the clientele average in the 70s and 80's and they seem to have forgotten how he entire business USPS provides. Expect long lines. read more

The lady who works there is not really helpful! Waste of time and gas to pick up the package!

No Internet! If you need to look something up while you are there you can not. Also, address labels and tape used to be free and done for you...nope- you must pay for them now. And be ready to wait in line....a very long line with only 2 people working the desks. In almost 40 years I have never had so many issues trying to mail something. read more

I moved here a week ago. This is the 2nd time the lazy mailman wouldn't deliver a small box. In stead of putting it at my door, he puts a "can't deliver, pick up at post office" slip in my mailbox. With no post office address. So I had to drive to the nearest post office to ask what post office to go to. It was 10 more miles away. When I asked the mail people why he wouldn't deliver, they said don't know, and were angry that the close by post office told me to ask why. Today, another slip, no info on where to pick it up. At least I know where to go now. Can I make a formal complaint? read more

Probably pointless to complain about a government run business (not like there's an incentive to care) but these guys changed my entire mailbox and all the locks without telling me and every time I call I am on hold for 90 seconds before I get hung up on--so I have no way to get my mail or even find out what happened!!!! read more

ZERO, a disaster! Catalina Foothills near N. Sabino Canyon Road: temperature and time senisitive packages delivered to the wrong address... throw that away now, and if by chance they do deliver your package, they do not leave the key to gain access to the Parcel Locker. Multiple times I have had to paper the set of mailboxes with notes to tell them to leave the key!!!! Forget calling, 10 days later they might get back to you only to blame YOU! read more

Zero stars, Tim working at the Ora Valley USPS on La Cañada and tangerine is absolutely horrible. I went to pick up packages for my fiancé, and because our name and addresses didn't match. He wouldn't let me pick up live animals and they died. read more

2 years later. 99% of any mail is for the previous tenants. I get a piece of mail every two weeks. Yet, 99% is for previous tenants. I contacted USPS 30 X to stop this. Nothing has worked. Tried to contact the postmaster. NOTHING. How can I receive mail for folks who moved away 2 years ago???? read more

Oro Valley Post Office employees are AWESOME this holiday! I was 17th in line to mail packages and was out of there in 20 minutes. I was watching all the employees be professional, pleasant and helpful (even though some of the clientele were a tad "Grinchy.") Made my holiday ho-ho-ho! read more

Wish I could do zero stars. This place is always busy with zero help, and they victim blame when they deliver a package wrong. When I said I never received my package, he said, "Well, that's what YOU'RE saying." I wish people were competent enough to actually do their job and care just even *a little bit* about it. read more

Should get zero stars . My order for mail forwarding back East to Arizona was ignored . The a neighbor texted me and told was piling up . I never received it. ( Tax info etc) Tried to call USPS phone number. It is impossible to get through. Went to this branch to see if they could help. Woman was rude, hostile, insulting and absolutely no help. Complete losers. I emailed US a postal inspector general but I'm doubtful anything will change or improve read more

As usual this is the worst post office in Tucson! Over 20 people in line, only 1 clerk working! When will the privatize the mail?!?!?

Came in the day after Memorial Day, and while I knew it would be busy, there was ONE clerk behind the counter and the line was out the door. I was picking up a package and was told there was NO ONE available to help me. Never had a good experience here and am filing an ADA complaint. read more

Worthless carriers, even worse at the pickup window; received a postage due notice (carrier never attempted contact), went to post office as instructed on notice and was told by person behind the pickup door they're not setup to accept payment . Why even bother to be there if you can't do your job? If it were up to me, I'd fire the whole lot and outsource this failed business read more

Albert was at the Rincon location and he did such an amazing job!!! Friendly service and amazing insight.

The WORST. They never answer phone calls, and our postal carrier constantly takes packages back to the post office because he/she doesn't want to exit the vehicle. Then my email alert says WE requested it be taken back and held there when that is 100% untrue. I've reported the issue multiple times, and nobody seems to care. read more

Received excellent & timely service today from the Dutch door worker re address change.

This post office is absolutely the worst post office I have ever had to use! One guy that works at the counter is extremely rude and they make you stand in line to drop prepaid packages when no other post office in the area requires that. I don't know if this office needs a new postmaster or something should be done to stop the arrogant, rude behavior they exhibit day in and day out read more

I requested my mail be held and then to be delivered to my home. No mail arrived on the scheduled day. I know I had mail since I use USPS Informed Delivery and it showed 8 items. I tried calling the Post Office for over a half and hour (5 to 6 calls) and each time the call was disconnected after a couple of minutes of ringing. I sure hope they haven't lost my mail. read more

2/18/2018 I have had the need to call this location on two occasions in the past year, but never got through. When you call during business hours, all you get is a busy signal. If you go in person, desk personnel will take your number and promise that the person in charge will call, but, so far, they haven't. Two weeks ago our carrier placed our mail, including a parcel box key, in the wrong box. Whoever got our mail put at least some of it on the bulletin board, but the package remains missing in action. The sender told me to check with the post office. I am still trying. This facility simply screams for privatization. read more

I have patronized this post office for nearly 20 years. I believe the staff, over those years, has been pretty much exceptional. Today, however, I encountered a very unkind employee (wearing a Sons of Anarchy necklace) and was equally disappointed in both the manager and supervisor. I wanted to discuss the way I was treated by the postal clerk, and the manager didn't have the decency to come out and speak with me. The supervisor told me I could go speak to the manager in a doorway, directly in the presence of the employee I was not happy with. I wanted to avoid any kind of confrontation, and only report what happened to the manager in charge. However, the manager wouldn't come away from that area so that I could speak with that person privately. The supervisor suggested my only option was to acquiesce to the manager's insistence that I meet in a doorway, without privacy, and wouldn't ask the manager to come out. Although I will have to take care of business at this post office in the future, when there are opportunities to drop in somewhere else I will certainly do so. I felt like I was in a government agency today. That is not a feeling I have had in my previous experiences over nearly 2 decades at this location. I believe employees are often a reflection of management. The manager today, by failing to fulfill management duties by addressing Issues with an unhappy client, likely explains why there is an employee with an attitude working at the counter. Perhaps he didn't get his beanie baby for Christmas, but to take it out on me and was uncalled for, unnecessary, and unprofessional. read more

All of my packages are always completely SMASHED with tons of fragile stickers. Disgruntled workers need to find a new job if they can't seem to have any decency with other people's valuables. I will be taking this up, unbelievable read more

Got email saying order delivered to my apartment mail slot. Went to get mail. NO ORDER DELIVERED. Tried calling local (Oro Valley, AZ) Post Office ALL DAY. THEY WOULD NOT ANSWER THE PHONE- ALL DAY. Worst post office ever! We've lived in our house for about a year and half and have had nothing but issues with getting our mail and working with this location to resolve those issues. 1. It started when we moved into our house and forwarded our mail from the PO Box we had at this location to our house. I closed the box and wanted to return the keys. The desk agent didn't want to take the keys back because my husband had opened the box, not me. Even though I could show that I was getting mail there too. I had to get manager assistance just to return keys! 2. Then they were still putting our mail in the PO box and not forwarding to our house. When I went to the desk, they said our mail couldn't be forwarded because our address didn't exist. So, I had to prove our address was real. 3. Several months after all that was resolved, all of a sudden we stopped getting mail. Come to find out they decided to start forwarding all our mail and packages to my in-laws in Oracle! This location couldn't seem to resolve the issue, even with the help of a manager, so my mother-in-law went to the Oracle location and they were able to resolve it, sometimes. 4. To this day, we still have mail and packages that are randomly forwarded to my in-laws or delivered to neighbors that have the same house number with a completely different street name. read more

I used to not expect to have a great experience at the post office but since moving to Oro Valley that has changed. I am always impressed by how friendly and helpful everyone is. Even an employee who was leaving for the day took the time to say hello and reassure the 2 of us in line that it'd be a short wait. And regarding wait time I have yet to wait more than a few minutes. When the wait line gets long it still moves quite fast. This is due to more counters opening up quickly when needed. There's also some who comes by to check what everyone in the line needs because they have a special desk that handles basic things like package pickups and purchasing stamps. Bottom line is that I don't mind at all when I need to go to the Oro Valley Post Office. read more

Very rude and totally unhelpful. They used to have staff that cared about their job and their community.

If I could give this post office 0 stars, I would. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. Every single one of my packages "delivered by USPS" gets sent to the post office instead of my door, which in itself is completely obnoxious. All other carriers have no issue delivering to my door. AND THEN, multiple times I've gone to the post office to pick up MY packages, THEY'VE SENT THEM BACK!!! And the morons/clowns working at the window have the audacity to just look at me helpless stating things like "you should have gotten here quicker", "it is what it is"???? They are absolutely embarrassing and I feel bad for all Oro Valley residents that have to use this horrendous, worthless post office. read more

We have a PO Box at the Oro Valley, AZ branch and we just returned from vacation and had the box full of mail in addition to a slip that stated the Post Office had mail that couldn't fit in the box. I waited in line for 10 minutes when one of the employees noticed that I had a pick up slip. She told me to sit down while she gathered my mail. 10 minutes later she came out and asked me what I was expecting. I told her it could be any number of items. She went to the back and again I waited another 10 minutes. She came out again only to tell me that she could not find my mail. She took my phone number and told me she would continue looking and that she'd call "if she were to find my mail". Four hours later she called and left a message that she found my mail, no apologies, and that I needed to pick it up by 5:00 p.m. I stood in line another 10 minutes and someone went to the back and gave me my mail. When I got home I went through the mail and 2 pieces of mail weren't even mine - they belonged to another PO Box. We live in the same area as our PO Box and there have been countless times when our neighbors mail is in our mailbox at home. What is going on with this location? read more

So I really had a bad experience at this post office I had to get a package that the driver wouldn't deliver. The woman who collected my slip wouldn't answer my question and then went ahead and helped the person who was in line behind me.I was also made to wait while someone took a personal call ( what up isn't how you answer a business call ) and I couldn't get an answer on why they accepted a package that they refused to bring up the 20 feet to my door because the 40 pounds is took heavy. I get better service at any fast food restaurant then here . As someone who actually works customer service and the face of a company I would never accept my staff treating someone like this. So to the woman working the pick up counter and to the man who doilied out my package - your absolutely awful . I was mad having to come pick it up my package - I'm even madder now . A simple polite sorry or sorry for the inconvenience would make a huge difference. Yes they are words but having someone acknowledge you can turn a bad situation into a positive one. read more

I dropped a card to be delivered to New York in the mail box thats outside the Post Office on the day after Thanksgiving last year. It had a gift card of $50.00 in it. The card was stolen out of the box the next day. How do I know this? I called the company who I bought the card from and they said it was redeemed the day after I mailed it. The card never even made it out of Tucson. Two weeks ago, I mailed some documents to be delivered to the east side of town. The envelope never arrived. read more

I love the US post office and especially the people at the Oro Valley Arizona office. They are always cheerful. They are always helpful. And most of the time the lines are not very long. More importantly My packages and letters get to where they're going promptly and I can't say that even once in the more than 100 packages I've sent in the last year that even one was damaged. I've never had to make a claim on the included insurance or any insurance that I've had. I think the US post office is the best public utility that there is and we should all be grateful that we have such a service instead of having to use it is very expensive other carriers. read more

Scheduled a redelivery of a letter we had to sign for. Mail Carrier left a note in our entryway saying we needed to be home to sign for the letter. I was home -- in fact, was visible through the window where they left the note, yet they never bothered to knock or ring the doorbell. How can they possibly know we're NOT home if they don't bother to knock or ring the doorbell? Now I'm on hold with an estimated hold time "greater than one hour." Really USPS? Horrible customer service. read more
