The staff at Paintball Wars were kind enough to let us host a Nerf gun battle party for my son's 7th birthday. My son and his friends had an absolutely amazing time! Their smallest paintball course was exactly the right size for these younger kids to play Nerf, and we were able to use their nearby shaded picnic area for pizza and cake and a staging area. I know Nerf parties for kids isn't their usual thing, but if you're looking for something different to do for a kid's party, this is the place to do it! They really went out of their way to make it an authentic, fun experience. Blue even came out and refereed the matches for us! I had such a blast. The owner, Harry was super nice and polite and took great care of us. They have 4 fields. 1 for arcade mode, 3 for main mode. They have fresh filtered water for customer because you're gonna need a lot of water after playing each round. They also had a little pic nic spot for private parties where some people throw birthdays and such. The refs were also super polite. One of the refs was fairly young but he was super polite and sweet and made us feel welcomed. The prices are reasonable and I highly recommend this place for a day of fun. read more

My boyfriend wanted to paintball for his birthday and this was the place we picked! This was my first time and this is what I wish I had known beforehand was to bring sunblock, gloves to protect my hands and probably my own food. Side note if you have asthma bring your inhaler. This place was considerably far, but the venue being outdoors was a big draw for us. So a couple things. Pro -The team was accommodating to our needs -Chris was super helpful and patient when dealing with the charges especially since we had a large group. -You aren't charged a deposit unless you are a no show. -The battlefields are cool -Blue was a good referee Con - The guns weren't prepped so you had to fill them with CO2 when you get there. There's already so much prep that goes into that it would help if those were ready. -You do have to pay for extra paintballs so it was just kind of annoying that they would fall out of pods or hoppers even though when you closed it even with the sound of a snap. -People on our team had to switch out guns for new ones because they were not functioning well while we were playing. -At one point we were ready to go, but all the fields were taken making you wonder how that works when you book a private party and there are also all these other parties there with you. Overall, we had a great time. The staff was nice. It was a nice day out to paintball. read more

Last weekend a group of us decided to try out Paintball Wars for the first time... and I'm pretty sure we all agreed it won't be our last visit there. Harry was really friendly over the phone and helpful in making the arrangements for the private group, and once we arrived, he was just as friendly and nice in person. In fact, I'd say that the staff as a whole go out of their way to be friendly and make sure everyone is having a good time. Multiple staff checked on our group throughout the day to make sure we were having a good time, our equipment was working well, and see if we needed anything. Great service at good rates to beat! Though they have only four fields, they are well designed and it looks like they are preparing to expand. They did a great job of keeping the games rolling quickly so there was very little waiting around. So my brother and I and a bunch of friends went to this place for our friend Mark's birthday. I had never gone paintballing before so I didn't know what to expect. But oh man did I have a great time. I can't remember their names, Harry was awesome though! They held some items for us that wouldn't fit in our pants without always having to run to our cars. The courses range from small, medium and large with many different terrains. If I lived closer, I would definitely go every weekend. Sunday's are best I think as we had a party of 12 and we always were switching between courses. We played from 1030am to 330pm which is perfect. Okay i just went to this field over the weekend and i have to say its great for Palmdale to have its own field again because i didn't like driving down to paintball USA. I have been playing for almost 10 years now and i frequent fields like Capital Edge Paintball, Davis Paintball and Santa Clara Paintball in Northern Ca. I brought my cousins, Dad, Brother and even my sister's "Guy" friend here a day of paintball cuz i was visiting my parents for the weekend. I have to say that I liked the field and the atmosphere but there were a few things that i think they need to improve upon. The prices are GREAT for both walks ons and rental players so dont think paintball is to expensive to play. For one, (and i did talk with the owner about this and they are trying to improve it) the "speed ball field" it entirely made of dirt and 55 gallon plastic barrels, which isn't the greatest playing environment of the field. You cant slide, dive, and even the layout makes it difficult to maneuver and really get the play style of speed ball. There are no real tech guys on site so walk ons need to know how to fix their guns. A lot of the regulars at this field really need to make the atmosphere more inviting for younger and newbie players. They just crowd around like kids at a high school who are to cool to talk with younger and inexperienced players. They don't talk with the kids or make an effort to incite team work at the fields. The play style is every man for himself unless you have friends who know you at the field. I've NEVER been to a field where the crowd was so awful maybe cuz its Palmdale. Also a lot of the players use pump guns, which to me is great (cuz i own a pump gun as well), but is not great for the overall playing experience cuz they just sit and camp all day. The fields also need to be more thought out, The fields are not balanced at all and provide more cover at the rear of the fields, which turns games into camping matches with alot of players not moving. The Reffs, could be alot of better at this field, they just stand at the edges of the field all players out. I didn't see any paint checks all day except for other players telling people they were out. They don't really talk with the players at all, which also is a negative for the players' experience. Alot of folks wipe at this field as well so be prepared for that because 95% of the time the reffs won't see it. I'm giving this field 4 stars. They are pretty new (less than 5 years). and they are trying to improve. I will definitely keep coming to this field to support it and i will bring large groups to enhance our own experience. Lots of good things to say about this place. The staff was excellent, very chill and friendly, and I didn't feel like they were trying to squeeze money out of me. The equipment was in good condition. If there was a gun issue they fixed it no problem. The courses were pretty cool. I did have my doubts when we first rolled up though, it looks a little bare bones. And honestly, my only negative remark is addressing that. I've played a lot of paintball courses, and all three fields are relatively similar with their bunkers and such. It would be nice to see some more creative designs, maybe some different levels could really spice up the production quality. But I understand it's a newer establishment and has room to grow. That being said, this place did well with what they had. It's great for a first timer, a causal event, or a rusty player like myself. We had a blast and will be returning. Thanks guys! read more

This Place is a drive for me and my crew, mostly coming from the SGV / LA. But I really couldn't think about going anywhere else cuz the people here just ROCK! The value you get for a days worth of fun is like no other. My Daughter and I love coming here. She's 14 and jumps at the offer to go even without me! I'm not entirely sure if the reviewers below me really played at Paintball wars, as this field is the worst field I've ever played, and I can't see how people are saying 5 stars. Let me explain. 1) while two out of the three refs are quite good, one kid is horrible and makes really bad, inconsistent calls. Sadly, this is the kid reffing most games. 2) some of the refs are so busy chatting, that they forget their job. 3) they really need more than 1 or two refs per field since half the time the refs arent paying attention. 4) if the ref is going to call a "one minute left in the game" call, they should be consistent. One minute left is one minute left, not "im going to make a minute call and let the game go for seven more minutes because in my mind 30 seconds are really 5 minutes." 5) refs dont know how to make fair teams. For example, placing 15 experienced players and two new players against 2 experienced players and 15 new players is the norm. This in turn leads cool "pros" to lighting new kids up, which is quite common on this field. The field itself is divided into three different fields. Each field has its own pros and cons, while starting on a certain side of a field leads to advantages against the other side. In other words, the team on the "advantageous" side wins 95 percent on the matches on that field. The fields are set up so one side always has the advantage due to bunker placement or elevation change. All in all, the customer service off the playing fields is great! The price is pretty dang good for both entry and a box of paint. The staff is friendly and helpful, but unfortunately the on field experience is pretty poor and that is what matters. read more

Great Place to have a good time! Its not your luxurious Hollywood Paintball camp, but that's what makes it better! It's way cheaper than any other place, it's not jam-packed to the point you can't play like SC Village or Hollywood, their equipment is cheap enough that you don't feel like you are being robbed and the staff is friendly. At first we were like no this place is trashy, old and just bland but after the first map it was actually cool and we really started to like it here and the prices were really unbeatable $20 for entry and air. Some cons here I have a 4500 tank and I guess they ran out of high pressure are so I was at 3000 running out of air might be a problem for us and the place, not really much a locker it's like a 3x3 so all of our stuff is just out and about on the tables. Honestly though that didn't stop us we had a blast and I would definitely come here again. I wish the would make the place a little bit more better and add speed ball. Speed ball here would be great will definitely post another one when changes are made. Overall I will say fun experience and a day well spent. read more

I brought a few friends to Paintball Wars for my birthday party and had a total blast. It's been a few years since I played, and my friends were new to it, and the staff made us feel right at home and taught us everything we needed to have a great and safe time on the field. Our referee was extremely good and answered our questions and managing paintchecks on the fields. I appreciate the thought put into the staging area, chronograph area, and the design of the bunkers in the fields. I highly recommend Paintball Wars! read more

The workers there were all so friendly and helpful it really made our first paintball experience more exciting and fun. I drove an hour to get to this place because of their reviews and I would totally drive an hour again to get there if I was to go paintballing. I have been coming to this field for over 7 years. What makes this place so fun is the employees, fields, and game play. The owner (Harry) is very friendly and always tries to make sure that everyone is having a great time. The refs will actually run down to a bunker to paint check players (keeping everyone honest). Refs at other paintball places don't care to do this or are too lazy. They have 2 small fields and 2 large fields with enough variety to keep it interesting. The games they usually run include team elimination, defend the fort, and capture the flag. However, the refs are open to suggestions if players want to run a different game. Free water, lots of parking, lots of shade! Come play at this field! read more
