Go on their online calendar, see available dates and times, choose and either pay a deposit or entire payment. It took exactly 5 min to book this party. Loved the convience. After that I recieved emails of the receipt, and further things to know and reminders. Obviously the owners know what good customer service looks like. On the day of the party we had two of the sweetest attendees working and making my daughters birthday fabulous! Place is clean, nice and cool which is a must in Bakersfield scorching heat and music was on point. Time for a round to golf at North Kern. It's been a while since we've been out here, beautiful…read moremorning. We had a five some of good friends. The course looked great green fees are reasonable. Pro shop is stocked full of anything you might need. We hit some balls on the range to warm up and putted some. Ive probably played more rounds of golf at North Kern than any Golf Course, it's still a great challenge, the course seems to be getting longer as I'm getting older. Most all of the bunkers have good sand now. The greens were receptive to your good shots and were a little slow today probably because of the forecasted heat. There was a light breeze most of the day that kept the heat down it never got hot. We finished our round in four hours. enjoyed a cold beverage and delicious cheeseburger afterwards in the spacious lounge. If you haven't been out to North Golf Course in a while, make the trip.

They have a long range for the bigger rifles but there were also people shooting pistols on the same range. They have barrels and a board you can put targets on. The range master (he's the guy in charge with the microphone!) gave clear instructions and safety was emphasized at all times. You can drive your car right to where you're shooting at the range. The pistol range was really cool because the targets make sounds when you hit them, instant gratification! They have a really cool western themed town area, husband said they have cool weekend events there, would definitely check that out. They perform club regrips which is what we needed for my husband's hand me down set. There was a few different options to choose from for the regrip and it was done in about a day or two, super quick. The clubs turned out great. I believe they sell a little bit of other gear too. There was an artificial grass putting area in the storefront part as well. Another big service they offer is virtual golfing. You can come in and there are 2 rooms set up that can be private. There is a projector screen and the program allows you to choose specific golf courses to play, change weather factors like wind speed, and I think time of day even? It was awesome. I believe you can also use it for driving range practice virtually. This is great for a hot day in summer, a more affordable option than a club, or to practice a specific course before going in person. They offer memberships for this virtual service as well. We were super impressed with the level of customer service as first time customers and have returned a few times since. I think it was great seeing the regulars come in and be acknowledged on a first name basis too. As golf beginners, we really appreciate this store being in Bakersfield.
