I couldn't thank her enough. Noting there were a lot of other employees but Lisa was everywhere and offering to help out.

Plus there is not enough places to sit while your kids enjoy themselves. The tables that are empty have reserved signs all over them when I'm not sure what they are reserved for as I didn't see anyone actually sit at one. Also the tables are filthy! I finally got tired of walking around looking for a seat and just sat down and about 5 minutes later I was asked if I was a part of a party and that if not I would need to move. I asked where I was supposed to sit and she told me it was first come first serve...ok then we're NOT off to a great first impression at all! So it's $22 for an all day jump. Meaning you get wristbands and can jump all day but you cannot leave and come back. Plus there is a $4 fee for socks that you HAVE to have to participate. There does seem to be lots of activities for the kids to get into. Also the wristbands are supposed to prevent anyone from being able to just walk out with your kids but I didn't scan anything and just walked right on out the door. Went into the women's restroom and was pleasantly surprised to see how clean it was but then I noticed there was no toilet paper or paper towels. There were however seat covers, but when I went to wash my hands the full soap dispenser would not dispense any soap. There doesn't seem to be a kitchen there but it says one is coming soon. You can order pizza, chicken or wedges that are delivered from a Round Table Pizza close by and it was actually pretty good. Overall this place is cool. There are a lot of kids just ripping and roaring all over so it's kind of a day care for tired parents, IF you can find a place to sit.

Please do not assume that paying a high tuition will guarantee your child better care--unfortunately, that was not my experience here. The only staff member who truly showed a teacher's spirit and a genuine, caring heart was Ms. Maria. She was the main reason we decided to enroll, as she is compassionate, nurturing, and clearly dedicated to children. Unfortunately, she was not my son's full-time teacher, and the quality of care he received otherwise was extremely disappointing. During his first week, when he was understandably adjusting to a new environment, he was not met with patience or understanding. Instead, he was ignored and even told that his emotions and behavior were an "inconvenience." Children--especially little ones experiencing big feelings--deserve patience, empathy, and guidance, not dismissal. The breaking point for us was an incident I personally witnessed on the school's live feed today: * My son and another child accidentally ran into each other and fell. Rather than addressing the situation fairly, the substitute teacher immediately singled my son out, instructed him to sit down, and then took away the small toys he had been playing with--leaving him visibly upset and confused. * Instead of comforting him, she ignored him. When she finally engaged, it was to point to the kiddo my son could go apologize--though he had done nothing wrong. * To make matters worse, when I called to address this with the front desk, I was hung up on. When I arrived at the school, the story I was told did not match what I had seen on the live feed. The substitute even responded to me with a message saying, "I apologize if it looked misleading," attempting to downplay what I CLEARLY observed. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, especially at a school where parents are paying nearly $300 per week for part-time care only 3 days a week. Every child is different and some need more support than others, but ignoring or mis handwriting their emotions is not the answer. Teachers should meet children with patience, love, and respect--not frustration and dismissal. IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES! BUT ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARR PAYING THIS MUCH. My family is deeply disappointed by this experience. As a parent, my heart hurts knowing that my child was treated this way. I sincerely hope that Childtime takes this feedback seriously and reflects on the quality of care they are providing. Children deserve better.

I'm writing this to share my experience and hopefully help other parents make an informed decision…read more My daughter is almost 1 1/2 years old and has been attending Lil Explorers since she was just 8 weeks old. Unfortunately, since the administration changed in October 2025, the quality of care has significantly declined. There has been a very high turnover rate with teachers, which creates an unstable environment for the children. One of my biggest concerns has been safety. My daughter was repeatedly bitten by the same child, and there were multiple instances where I was not informed. I only discovered the injuries after noticing marks on her arms and legs when she got home. At one point, my daughter was bitten four times in a single day. I reported this to child Care Licensing in California, and they conducted a visit to the facility the following week. After that, I felt there was a shift in how my daughter was treated. I began receiving reports that she was "biting" and "fighting," which had never been an issue before--either at home or previously at the school. What's most concerning is the lack of transparency and consistency. On multiple occasions, I've received completely different explanations from different staff members about the same incident. Most recently, I picked up my daughter and found a bite mark on her hand that I had not been informed about, and I was given three different stories by three different teachers. While the director may come across as professional, my experience has been that communication is inconsistent and not always truthful. I strongly encourage parents to do their due diligence by looking up the facility's licensing history on the California state website and reviewing any complaints. At the end of the day, we trust these facilities to protect and care for our children. Based on my experience, I no longer feel confident that this center is providing the level of care and supervision that children deserve. I also want to add that my experience wasn't always negative. My son attended this facility from the time he was a year old and graduated in summer 2025. During his time there, I had a wonderful experience. The staff was always loving, caring, and attentive, and I never had any issues. It was truly heartbreaking to see so many of those amazing teachers leave when the administration changed, because they made such a positive impact on my child and our family. As a stay at home mom I loved to linger on the playground after drop off to catch up with the teachers and other parents. If you're on the fence on whether you should send your kid to tk or keep them home BPN is a happy medium. Kids play and learn from 9-12 and are home in time for nap time. This preschool felt like a second home and family to us. Look no further than BPN for all your preschool needs.
